Rare 18th Century Queen Anne Slant Front Desk Bandy Leg Slipper Feet No Res
Rare 18th century Queen Anne slant front desk with bandy legs and slipper feet. This desk is fresh to the market from a local estate. It looks like cherry. But I believe it is actually applewood. It measures 40" wide x 38.5" tall x 17" deep with a writing height of 26" The condition is as follows. The front right foot is broken, but the original piece is there and needs to be glued back on. There are a couple of breaks to the drawer lips(se pictures) The interior is complete, but one of the cutouts on the top of the pigeon holes is replaced. Some of them need to be glued back in place. There is a little worming to the bottom board, but overall a solid piece of furniture. The wooden pulls are replacements.
