I have an old spring loaded icebox latch handle and catch for your consideration. These are cast brass and are quite worn and shabby in appearance. Spring still feels strong however for reuse. Measuring the offset looked a little more than 5/8 of an inch. Back looks like it is marked 11/16 although it is hard to read. It appears it was manufactured as a 11/16 offset for its original design use.Nice old hard ware to add some character to your repair or renovation. Lots of opportunities with furniture as well. I am offering this beautiful French Bamboo furniture set consisting of a sofa and two chairs. This set dates back to around the late 1800's and has it's original upholstery. The set is in wonderful condition. The sofa does have some seperation where the nail holding the long bar on the bottom is coming out. One of the chairs has the same thing. I tried to convey this in the photos. It does not in any way affect the sofa or chair. The sofa is approx. 11 1/2 inches tall. 11 1/2 inches long and about 5 inches deep. One chair is just shy of being 12 inches high, 7 inches long and 5 inches deep. The other chair is about 11 1/2 inches high, 6 1/2 inches long and 5 inches deep. Up for auction is an antique wood doll cabinet primitive dresser recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. It is found in fair used condition. This box is covered with a grain paint painted paper over a pine wood. It has a divided interior of 4 shelves. One larger than 3 similar sized. This box has several stains, scratches, and losses of the paper throughout. It appears that the hinges and hasp are vintage replacements, not original. The hasp shuts the front doors but they do not close together. There is early writing on the side, Small Childs Dishes for Annie Age 6. This sofa/ couch was made in the Civil War era. 1820-1860) It is 82" long and 39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand carved walnut wood about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of ... morethe sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" But it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue. It is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover. That is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric. It is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. Depression Era antique bedroom set minus the bed. Set includes vanity. Dresser, vanity bench, rocking chair, and night stand/end table. All are in pretty good shape. Tops need some attention but a nice ornate beautiful set. Vanity mirror is original and in good shape. No chips or cracks. All original hardware is in place. The dresser has all 4 original wooden casters, all are in good shape. It looks like the rocker and vanity bench were re-caned at some point. All of the caning is in good shape.
