Antique Opera Seats Theater 1890's Forged Iron Grand Rapids School Furniture Co
This auction is for a set of three beautiful late 1800's antique opera/theater seats/chairs. These seats are in excellent condition given their age and were obtained from the Albany/Cooperstown NY region. These seats have oak wood backs with number plates(90. 91 and 92) and a book holder on the backside of two of the seats. The seats are connected to a sturdy forged iron base. On the side of the iron base there is a manufacturer insignia from Grand Rapids School Furniture CO. and a Patent number 531848. The Grand Rapids School Furniture Co. merged w ith eighteen other school. Church, and seating manufacturers in 1899 to form the American School Furniture Company, headquartered in New York. This sale is for 3 pieces of antique solid oak furniture salvage. It consists of a large carved pediment measuring 36 1/2" long. And 7" high as well as 2 side pieces measuring 15" long, 3 1/2" wide. They measure 1 and 1/2" 2" of solid oak. One piece has some filler on the edge where a chip was taken out. Great carvings on each piece and they came from the top section of a very large oak sideboard.

It does not have a brand name on it that I've detected; however, the quality of the wood is obviously that of 100 year old wood in my opinion. It does have a little ding on one side of the top, as evident in the picture of its top. I am not able to ship something this big, 29 1/2" by 49 1/2" and is 30" tall. But if you buy it and come to pick it up and don't like it, I'll return your money. However, once you take it with you, I will no longer refund.

Hi and welcome to my auction. For your bidding consideration is a set of 8 antique clear drepression glass furniture leg/ carpet protectors. None have the normal Hazel Atlas(HA) hallmark. All are alike in appearance and have concentric embossed circles on the bottom. Each measures approximately 3" in diameter at the base and has an internal measurement of 2-1/4" in diameter. These heavy glass protectors set 3/4" high. The protectors in the pictures are the actual pieces you will receive. These are in good condition for their age. It should be noted that on most sets there exists what I will call a dull haze on some of the bases where they would have contacted the floor and slid around. This may be one of my best sets of 8- meaning that they are quite clear. The visible sides are in nice condition and have real good gloss. Pair of Antique Brass Furniture Leg Ornaments/ Applied Decorations
Pair of antique brass leg ornaments or applied decorations measure 4 1/2 inches in length and 1 1/2 inches at their widest ends. They could use more cleaning to get into all the little nooks and crannies. But otherwise intact and unbent laying nice and flat on the back. They have two nail holes to attach them and are unmarked. One of the pineapple shaped tipped ends does have a little excess brass on one side(from its original casting I think) So it is a little rough on that one end. I believe this can be filed down in minutes to neaten it up like the other tip without losing any design as it appear to be excess brass.

Antique Hand Made Miniature Wood Doll Furniture 4 Small Bisque China& Ginny Size
Presented here for your bidding pleasure is this set of hand made antique or vintage doll furniture in a scale that would complement 8" Ginny sized dolls. Given its antique aesthetic. This set of miniature furniture would be cohesive with other styles of dolls, such as antique bisque and china dolls, an example of which is seen in the last picture. All dolls, animals and additional accessories seen in the photographs are not included. I acquired this wonderfully made furniture in a toy box full of antique dolls accessories and furniture. There were several sets of old wooden playthings that I grouped together for sale, and this auction is the result of that effort. The set consists of six pieces of furniture in the Arts and Crafts or Mission style. Along with a wonderful old bucket that I added. Techniques used in the construction of ... morethe furniture includes gluing, nailing and peg jointing. The wood used appears to be oak, with a dark walnut stained finish. Each piece is very sturdy and well made, with a satiny, smooth finish to the touch. The handsome table centers the group and measures 9 1/2" long by 4 5/8" deep and 4 1/2" tall. The bench is 7" by 2" by 2 1/4" high. There are two matching arms chairs that stand about 5" tall, and a silk sling back chair(that does not fold) that is 4 3/4" tall. Then, there is this one piece of utilitarian furniture that I don't know what it is. Measuring 8 1/4" long by 4" tall, it has a movable foot pedal. The bucket has a wire bail handle(rusty) and is hand carved from a single piece of wood. It is 1 1/2" tall without the handle. As stated earlier. The dolls and animals seen in my photographs are not included, but merely presented for size reference and inspiration for your displays. However, the Ginny in the green coat, the Steiff woolie animals, and the old dolly cookware will be listed shortly. Please check back, keeping in mind that I would be happy to combine shipping!
