Governor of Massachusetts Bay Colony. The desk is a reproduction made by the Maddox Table Co. of Jamestown, New York. This desk comes right out of the New England estate. The desk has those wonderful features most folks are looking for, such as all-wood drawers with dovetail corners, and clawed feet. The hardware and locks are the originals that came with the desk, not replacements. The desk was in my family for around 60 or so years, so the desk dates to at least 1950, and it may be older than that- I'm just not sure. The desk is the slant-front style, hinged at the bottom, so it opens up and the front lays flat to become the writing surface; the desk front can be locked. When the desk front is opened and lowered into the writing position, two arms come out automatically to support the writing surface. Inside the desk there are 3 small drawers, and holders for stashing letters and so forth. In the center of the opened desk, inside, there is a closed compartment with no lock; the compartment door is scratched. There are 3 drawers below the writing surface that extend almost the full width of the desk, and each one of them can be locked. These drawers have a graceful bow front(see photos) Above the desk itself is a prominent feature, a bookcase with 2 shelves covered by hinged glass doors that swing out and can be locked. The bookcase doors do not line up 100% vertically when closed, a common problem with these desks. This doesn't mean that you can't close them or lock them when closed, but it is something I should point out. Above the bookcase is decorative trim with a twin swan&#

Antique Furniture Industrial Steampunk Cast Iron Table Base Lathe Legs Vintage
Antique Lathe Legs- Industrial Table Base Up for your consideration are these extremely solid cast iron legs. The top of the legs are very wide and very stout. These have been used in an industrial setting until they were recently taken out of service due to need being nullified. The legs are solid and no visible cracks can be observed. There is a mount on the side of one leg where the motor was secured too. This side mount plate stays in its current position and does NOT fold up. It appears as though this side platform can be taken off if you choose. Otherwise it could be used to secure just about anything due to the strength of it. The legs are 26 1/2" tall by 24" wide. These are not exact measurements and can very by a 1/4" The top plate is 9" by 8" where a table top could be secured too. There are three holes ... morefor mounting. The spacing of these are shown in the pictures just like the other measurements just mentioned. The legs were cleaned by wiping them down with water. No chemicals or intense cleaning has been performed. If the legs do not sell right away like they normally do I will probably do a little more cleaning. I would prefer the legs get picked up. I have shipping several sets before and this is a project getting the ready for shipping. Pine boards are used around the perimeter with 1/4" board enclosing both sides. The materials for making these crates is about $35 and takes close to 4 hours from start to finish. I also get charged by eBay/paypal. This was harvested from a local farm from the original owner, an amazing man with the knowledge and history we can only marvel at. This section with three cups has been made to hang on the wall. My original idea for this is to have by the front door where you can hang your keys and put the outgoing mail in. The cups can hold many other items as shown in the pictures. If you have a craft room as an example you can hang this or multiple sections of these to sort frequently used items. I could go on and on but I think you get my point. This is a very versatile item. Set of 8 vintage/antique drawer pulls that were either for a child's furniture or more likely. A piece of dolls furniture. The pulls are made of brass and have a lot of patina. The plates measure 1-3/4" across and have 2 holes for tiny nails. The handles move up and down- a full 180 degrees. there are brads( that go into the drawer and fold back to secure the pull. All are in very good condition. On one of the pulls, the brad is missing the last 1/4" but will still work well. Also included are 2 extra plates, and extra brad and one handle. Vintage 'antique white' waterfall style wood 1940's bedroom furniture
This is a lovely and unusual vintage 1940's'waterfall' style bedroom furniture set. Includes full size dresser with 4 drawers. Vanity with large mirror, end table with drawer and shelf, and a bench with fabric padded seat. These items were refinished in the 50's and have some wear to the paint. However the pieces are structurally sound and of good dovetail construction. Please review the pictures and contact me if you have additional questions. Measurements are as follows: Vanity: 19" deep. 26" high, 48" high. Mirror is 36 x 36" 4 drawers. End table is 13" deep. 26" high, 15" wide. 1 drawer and a bottom shelf. Dresser is 19" deep. 30" wide, 43 1/2" high. 4 drawers. Bench is 22" wide. 17 1/2" high, 15" deep.

1940's Era Antique Furniture - Table and two chairs
As much as I hate to do it. I have to sell my Grandmother's antique furniture to help pay for my children's education! I have a mahogany Weiman Heirloom Drum Table with gold gilding and a secret drawer. Approximately 28" H x 32" W. I also have two mahogany French Provincial Victorian tufted chairs. All are in beautiful shape, other than a bit of wear on the arms of the green chair, and a small chip on the edge of the table. All are easily repairable. Had everything appraised about five years ago, and at the time it was all valued at between $4,400-$5,000. Don't be alarmed that it looks like one of the chairs doesn't have legs. It's only because I made the mistake of taking the photos against a dark carpet and the legs blended into the background. I assure you that they're attached and in great shape. Selling With No Reserve! Hi! I have for Auction here a lot of 18 assorted furniture casters. There is a nice pair of antique National Caster Co. Double Ceramic Caster Wheels. Made in Hamilton. OH. It also has a 5 stamped on it. It can swivel around and also slightly side to side. There are some small chips around the edge of the wheels. The wheels are 1-3/4" in dia. From the bottom of the wheels to the round flat surface is 2-3/4" The round pole is 1-1/2" long and 5/8" dia. Everything moves freely. Great collectors item. The other 16 have plastic wheels. 12" Holophane Lobay No. 684 Light Up for your consideration is this used light in good condition. The light has been completely rewired including the socket. Have piece of mind the light has all new electrical with a ground wire. The length of the light is very versatile. Enough wire was left to extend the length of the light. Or. You can shorten it no problem. This is made for a very simple adjustment to fit you exact space. The socket was extended down into the globe so the light bulb will not be shinning out the sides. If this light is hung low you will not get that bright light shinning in your eyes. If it is up high this will allow all the light to be projected downwards. Increasing its effectiveness. This was well thought out that you wont see on the others. CONDITION; There are 3 small chips out of the glass globe that I can see ... morewhen looking at it from 6" away.
