Please read ALL of the text and view the pictures carefully. We will gladly answer any questions as best we can. Please ask questions before you bid or ... morebuy. Please scroll to the bottom of the pictures and read the terms under our last picture. I am far from an expert on these but will do my best to describe it for you. Questions encouraged.I do not see any cracked lenses and the mirror is not cracked on either side. All lenses are clear but one has a hair or something inside of it which I think you can see in the pictures. All of the knobs work smoothly. The paint is worn where you would place the slide and it looks rusty but it may be the base coat of paint as the finish is nice and smooth. It comes with the extra lenses as shown. I have taken close ups of any numbers or markings I could find. The numbers on the top of the microscope which I assume are the serial numbers are 241681. The black paint is scuffed on the bottom of the back of the base and it could use some polishing/cleaning in my opinion. The wooden finger jointed case is in nice shape with just a scuff on the one side and the original nickel handle remains on the top. The door has a lock but I do not have the key. Have a look at the pictures and please feel free to ask questions. Thank you for viewing. We have many other listings so please click the link to view them. This microscope is fully functional. But in transit from college it appears the other end of power supply was lost, it has the bulb socket with 2 pinned cord, but it is not a plug,it appears it needs to get plugged into another device, transformer first so if you are a hobbyist and or already may have these parts this microscope is for you, or if you want to purchase this remaining piece on your own. everything else is here, it is well made, clean and works great. very well preserved. The objectives included are: 3.5x 10x 43x and 100xoil. Notice in the first picture the power cord attached to light socket in back, that needs to get plugged into something else.
A beautiful brass microscope made by Bausch& Lomb Optical of Rochester. NY. Patent date is Jan 5, 1915. The three objective lenses are 1.9mm, 4mm, and 16mm. There is also a metal box with a glass pipette and some other items, and slots with black cases that I believe are for holding the lenses. A glass bottle is in the box, too, although I don't know what it was used for. Thanks for looking, and I'll do my best to answer any questions you may have.
The lenses could use a good cleaning. But it is an attractive, smooth working microscope otherwise. Actual shipping costs only-no hidden fees or other nonsense. Safely packaged up-I get a lot of praise for my packaging. Ask questions. But don't wait until the last moment. Shipping to the lower 48 only. No international shipping.
This is a late 1890s wooden microscope box with wooden eyepiece holders. 3 eyepieces, 4 brass eyepiece holder tubes as shown. One eyepiece is marked Leitz Wetzlar and one eyepiece is marked Bausch& Lomb. The third eyepiece has no makers name on it. Eyepieces are in good condition and so is the box& wooden holders and brass holders too. Priced to sell. Shipping is $25.00 in the 48 states. Because Bausch% Lomb is still in business and there are parts for sale for most ... moreevery type of machine. I think you can find the pieces you wish to add. Our policy is to keep pieces we sell in the same condition in which we found them. The wooden box that houses this microscope is absolutely gorgeous. The color is beautiful. The design of the dovetail corners is just excellent craftsmanship. There is not a key for the door. I will keep looking through my sample keys this week: Why do you think there are numbers on the microscope or the box? You are right. due to inventory! We think this must have been used in a medical school due to the times. or perhaps a very wealthy school district? This piece of Science'past' Is in great shape! Just needs few things added if you wish it to have more parts. It also would be a fabulous conversation piece! How cool would it look in your half bathroom or near a wet bar or on a shelf in a book case or in an office. Vintage Bausch& Lomb Antique Brass Microscope Circa 1899 The pictures do not do justice to the way this instrument gleams! All the movements move freely with no binding or sticky spots. The Irises on the condenser move freely as well. The bottom iris looks like it is missing a couple of the leaves, there is what appears to be one of them that was in the drawer of the case. It is shown in one of the pictures. The Case is in good shape. But it is showing it's age, the cabinet does lock and includes a key. I have added a shipping charge to this due to the extra care that is needed to package this securely to ensure it will arrive safely also to cover the extra charges due to it's weight.

Antique Brass 1885 Bausch& Lomb Microscope Bar Limb Design with No Case Or Extra Lenses Here is a great older brass microscope for your buying consideration. Recently picked it up at an auction. And remember. There is never any sales tax to our US customers as we live in Delaware, the home of tax free shopping! There were 10 microscopes recently at a high end auction that appeared to be from someone's collection or a high end store that dealt in them. I acquired 6 of them. Here is another one of them. The other microscopes will be made available for sale separately at my eBay store over the next few days as well. The microscope scope and the lens and objective case and dials are made of brass. There is some corrosion to the brass and painted surfaces in places. The black painted part of the microscope stand is some sort of other metal. ... moreThere are the patent dates of October 1876 and October 1885 noted on a brass plate on the microscope. This microscope appears to be a bar limb design. I do not see a serial number on the microscope. But do see the number"37" impressed on the bottom of the stand. The objective has Bausch& Lomb impressed on it and"tube length 8.5" I can see Bausch& Lomb on the eye lens, but not a strength The mirror at the bottom of the scope is two sided. Not cracked or blistered, but the mirroed surface does show some wear. The glass for the lens and objective are dusty and may have some minor scratching. I see no blistered cracked or missing glass in the lenses or objectives. The microscope is 11.75" tall. By 4-1/8" across, by 6.5" wide. Great etching into the brass body and plate of the name of the company. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures. Don’t be shy to make an offer. Vintage unopened small bottle of Cedar Oil by Bausch& Lomb. Of Rochester, NY, dating from circa mid 1930s. Large Antique Bausch& Lomb Brass Optical/Laboratory Microscope w/3 lenses. PLZ SEE PICS!
Wonderful antique Bausch& Lomb double pillar microscope- possible circa 1880s. Everything works and the microscope is fully functional. The scope stands ~15.5 inches tall with the tube fully extended. The fine focus is on the bottom of the stage. The mirror has some silvering- see photos and the black lacquer on the base is worn in places. There is one B&L objective marked 1/2. The brass. However shines and looks great. This is probably a student microscope and will make a great addition to any collection. Ask questions. Overseas buys pay additional shipping fees. Thanks for looking.
Here you go. it's old and brass with a chrome draw tube and single objective lens. I can't find a maker's name on the body but the eyepiece has Carl Zeiss Jena on it. The nearest thing I've found is a Bausch and Lomb Harvard model microscope. You however are the expert here. Dates on the body are as follows: Pat. Oct. 3. 1876" and"Pat. Oct. 18, 1885" Sold without warranty of any kind. Thanks for looking!
Vintage Bausch& Lomb laboratory microscope with. The microscope is marked 236357. The microscope appears to be in good condition but I'm not sure how to use it so it is being sold as is. All parts seem to move correctly. When looking through the top lens I did see a crack in the glass. I'm not sure which glass is cracked. So please note that there is a crack when you look through the top. Other than that it appears to be pretty good cosmetically but does show some signs of age and wear and needs cleaned. Please view the pictures for details. The microscope comes with multiple lenses including a 19mm 91x oil immersion lens. A 16mm 10x divisible lens and a 4mm lens. This piece is very heavy. When the top scope is as far down as possible the entire microscope measures approximately 13 inches tall. The base of the microscope is 4 ... more1/2 inches wide by 7-3/4 inches long. Please let me know if you have any questions. Again please note that this is not perfect and should be bought with the expectation that there is a crack in the glass and it may not work. Please let me know if you have any questions. Shipping price is to the contiguous US only. Thanks for looking! Posted with
Antique Bausch& Lomb jug handle microscope with very nice Spencer mechanical stage. Serial number looks to be 66590. Which makes its age around 1907. This is a unique microscope because the fine and course focus nobs are nickle plated. The rest of the microscope is brass except for the base. The mirror has some minor silvering and the black lacquer shows some wear. The Spencer stage works well, the sub stage condenser is clear, and the sub stage iris works well. The three objectives are B&L and the scope comes with a 10X eye piece. This is a great fully functional jug handle microscope and will make a wonderful addition to any collection.

Vintage Brass Bausch& Lomb microscope with wood case.late 1890's.needs a good cleaning.would look great on display.
From a local school. I believe this to be a Bausch& Lomb"Jug" microscope. Decent condition as you can see from the pics. The iris seen in the last two pics appears to work fine. Microscope only. No box or documentation. What you see is what you get. The drop in eyepiece appears to be a replacement and not the original. Still it works fine. Ships to lower 48 states only. thanks pat

This is a vintage Bausch and Lomb/Fisher Scientific microscope however I cannot figure out the age. It was in poor storage for many uears and the reflective mirror has corrosion and is displaced from its plate. Some surface rust on the scope body but you can see light when you look into it. It has 2 extra lenses and the wood case is in poor shape. Please see the pics and feel free to email me if you have any questions, thanks.
