Antique Vintage C. Reichert Wien Early 20th Century Medical Microscope W/Box
Antique early 20th Century C. Reichert Wein medical microscope. Reichert started their company in Vienna in 1876. My research tells me this is pre 1920. However I am no expert. The microscope has a serial number and the original oak dove tailed box has the same matching number as well. The back of the box is missing but would be a simple fix. The overall condition is very nice and appears to have all its parts as shown in the photos. All working parts are functional. It is a very unique and rare piece of medical history and displays very well. Easily could be cleaned and polished and it would look like new. This was a donation to our local Church Thrift Store and all money will be used to help people in need here in Brevard County Florida. Vintage 1895 Leitz Wetzlar Heavy Metal Medical Microscope w/ orig Box
Up for auction is the vintage 1895 Leitz& Wetzlar Medical microscope. It is No.34053 which date it back to 1895. The microscope weighs about 8 pounds and is very heavy for its size. There are lenses made by Reichert in Austria and Spencer in Buffalo NY. There is also as shown in the photos the extra retractable lens on the bottom with a fish-eye type bubble up lens. There are two mirrors on the bottom holder: one on each side. The eye piece is a number 5 Ernest Leitz Wetzlar Microscope is complete as shown in the photos and is in excellent condition The instrument also comes with the original box as shown.At one time on the box it would appear as though there was a lock on the side but that is no there now. Art Deco GE Victor X Ray machine vintage Medical Equipment doctor surgeon
I have lots of antiques listed and more on the way. This is a RARE piece of medical history made by GE Xray in the 1920s. These are RARE this is the only one on ebay current or closed auctions. The time frame for anything made by GE Xray Victor was very short because GE bought out Victor in a few years after merging with them so this is one of those RARE transitional pieces. and probably the only one you will ever see. This has great display Art Deco appeal because of the green glass strip down the middle of the top if you would light that up it would be awesome in any collection.

Fantastic antique early Zeiss. ITS SOLID BRONZE TOP TO BOTTOM! It has two Apochromat lenses! One apochromat lens sells for 500.00 each. X.Y adjuster built directly into the stage. I contacted Zeiss Germany. They looked through their archives for me. The Carl Zeiss Jena microscope no. 154713 is a stand B, type d and was delivered to New York in 1925. You will never see another one like this.A brand new Zeiss microscope today is around 9000.00. This one is almost a 100 years old. Add it to your collection.

The device fits nicely into its 3" X 5.5" case which is lined with purple velvet. The device says Spencer Buffalo USA on the black ebony stand and says Germany on one of the metal components. I cannot say what the device was used for or whether it is complete. The case looks full- not room for anything else, I do not think. This is a neat old medical device which would display nicely. Cast iron articulated arms, heavy cast iron base with very light rust and flaking paint, functional retinoscope with worn paint on the arm, all the electrical wiring remains intact and lights the bulb in the retinoscope, the wheel underneath the table adjusts the height, barnacled enamel paint on the retinoscope. The optical instruments and the wheel are coated with smooth black enamel paint. The arm holding the retinoscope scrapes against the bolt on the cast iron base when adjusted.
