4 Rare solid antique VINTAGE Microscope by OKULA ask questions. Object is as photo's describe. excuse no description, i have a glut of stock. Make an offer. Objects under a weight of 2 kilos sent via economy in most instances go via aircraft and are only slightly slower than fast shipping. Yet this is not a guarantee though. Shipping times from Europe to other countries via economy post can vary. To the US shipping times for heavy things are from 3 to 6 weeks. If you need this item quickly, it's best to be safe and order the item by faster shipping. Yet economy shipping is free for all items i sell. If the item is light the added cost will be minimal for fast shipping. For heavy items, economy shipping is a must, so be patient or don't order. If you feel the need to use your paypal or buyer protection because of long shipping ... moretimes, please do it at the latest possible date. When you ask for faster shipping I deduct the price of economy shipping from the fast shipping price. Make sure you ask any questions prior to purchase with regard to the shipping costs. All items have registration with insurance, items always arrive. gsrx_vers_507(GS 6.6b7(507) Please note these goods are listed as not being in the Czech republic. As when goods are listed as being in the Czech republic, the do not show on ebay.com searches, ebay are unable to fix the problem for one month. So I list the goods here in Sweden. As soon as the bug is fixed i will revert the search function back to Czech.

Featuring Rack& Pinion focus and a compound lens. This rare, Nineteenth Century Brass Student Microscope is in fair original condition with a few correctable problems. The rack and pinion turns and adjusts freely, while the brass arm that holds the lens appears to have a slight bend. One of the two specimen slide clips is missing; and the small, secondary eyepiece lens appears to be cracked with a small missing sliver. The primary lens appears to be fine, and the general appearance of the unpolished brass appears to be good. Each individual part is die-stamped with a small part number. The non-original base is simply a piece of wood that someone stained(the actual base would be a small, dovetailed box with a storage drawer) I believe this microscope was the first item I purchased when I started ebay back in 1998. Item sold‘as is’ for ... moredisplay or repair. Good Luck in your bidding! Winning bidder to pay appropriate First Class postage within the Continental US(please contact me prior to auction’s end for international postage rates) As always, this item will be carefully bubble-wrapped and boxed.

The Nikon H(Hand" was designed in the 1960s by Nikon after the introduction of the commercial model of McArthur's folded optics microscope by Vickers in the 1950s. However. Nikon took the concept many steps ahead and produced one of the most sophisticated portable microscopes ever to be made. It is considered by many the best field microscope of all times. Production ceased in the late 1960s. Nikon H was also the first microscope to operate in space. During the first Skylab mission of NASA in 1973-4. This microscope was used in an experiment examining the effects of space conditions on bacteria and spore. For more details about this unique and ingenious microscope. Please see: Condition: Please note: The accompanying array of images of ... morethe microscope and its leather case taken from various angles are a part of this statement of condition. Please take the time to view all of the images to confirm what you will be getting. The microscope is in proper working condition. It has been tested and found to be properly working. With the battery compartment clean, the bulb(which is the original type of flashlight bulb of the 1960's) still functions(see photos) The ocular is clear(but it can use some delicate cleaning) and the objectives are perfect. The paint seems to have been repaired in one area on the right side of the ocular tube. The stage clips, clips holder and one of the tiny strap hooks below the ocular are missing. The leather case has been repaired in the past with the two strap hooks being efficiently glued back in place by some sort of strong solder. Because of these issues I list this microscope with a low BIN price of about $1000 less than the current value of a microscope of this kind in very good condition and with the original box. However. For many collectors this may be the only chance to get a good working specimen of this highly collectible fine instrument, which is otherwise too expensive and
Vintage 19th century Bausch& Lomb Microscope. Very rare and early model. With an extremely unusual design. This was made for the Arthur H Thomas Company. I researched the very low serial number of 2165 and it indicates a manufacture date of 1883! I discovered this item at a farm estate sale, and the family members only thought their father had bought it at a state liquidation sale decades before, and remember him using it from time to time. I am not an expert at microscopes and may not use the exact terminology, but I will do my best. I have been told this was a"comparison microscope" but cannot confirm that information. It certainly is very different from any other microscope that I have ever seen. Many of the components are made from brass, cast or stamped metal. It appears to have been well maintained, and has no major damage ... morethat I can see. I have not cleaned the lenses, and only given the outside a very gentle cleaning to remove dust. There are two hexagonal focusing prisms which work independently of each other, and are fully functional through their designed range of operation. The left and right focusing knobs move freely, with circular brass slide holders. Mirror rotates freely and is intact, but clouded. It has a removable steel lens cover. Original dovetail joint wooden box with functional hinge and clasp. It has normal wear, with surface scratches/chips and one burn mark at the top corner of the box(see pictures) I have no slides or other items with the microscope, other that what is seen in the pictures. If you have any questions, please let me know.

RARE VINTAGE VON RAPPARD SLIDES. CIRCA 1800- 1900 A set of rare vintage Von Rappard slides. Circa 1800- 1900. These slides were prepared by Conrad Von Rappard, Switzerland. Conrad Von Rappard was born in 1805 in Unna Westphalia, Prussia. One of his ventures led him to biology and an interest in microscopy. He established the company Microscopical Institute of August Menzel and Co. in Switzerland about 1850, which meant"microscopy business" This was one of the first businesses of its kind in Switzerland. More like a microscopical preparation service. He received his doctrate in 1852 on his studies of synaptae. His work led him to many European coasts where he studied sea life, as many of his slides were marine biology life. His slides were a black with gold pattern paper wrapped slides, both in the traditional 1' x 3" but ... morealso in the continental size, 2 5/8" x 5/ 8" His slides also had a specific pattern on the reverse side of the slide. The continental slides were often prepared in sets of 24 or 100, usually of sea life or insects and insect parts. These slides had round identification numbers and there were some slides that may not have these numbers attached or they had fallen off the slide. These numbers were better for the identification of his slides rather than writing because his slides reached many international markets. Each set of slides included a booklet or guide to serve as a key to the slides. This set of slides has 15 slides and comes with a paper written guide to the identification of the slides. Some of the slides area missing- 3,4,5,6,7,10,11,17 and18. The paper guide describes 24 slides. There are few slides that have cracks in the paper wrapping but the cracks do not interfere with the overall slide. Slide 15 has a crack in the coverglass but is not broken and does not interfere with the specimen. There is no box for this set of slides but I will provide a box for them to be stored. Although this set of slides is not perfect, it is an overall excellent set of uniqu

Bausch& Lomb Optical Co. Rochester NY Early version of the Investigator model microscope. C. 1890 The Investigator model was patented by Bausch& Lomb in 1876. And produced into the 1890’s. This model has a double nosepiece and original eyepiece. The optical system produces clear images and good contrast. Coarse focus is rack and pinion. Fine focus with micrometer knob. It moves up and down but gets a little hung up about half way. The original lacquered brass finish has tarnish and is in good overall vintage condition. The instrument is 12 ½” tall when fully closed and 15” when eyepiece is fully opened. It is signed on the stage. Bausch& Lomb Optical Co. With thanks and appreciation to the antique-microscopes website From the catalog of August Stendicke. New York: Illustrated& Descriptive Catalogue of Optical Instruments c.1890 THE INVESTIGATOR MICROSCOPE In this stand I confidently claim to have reached a higher degree of perfection than is possessed by anyone approximating it in price. It combines. In a moderate-priced instrument, the features of a first-class and high-priced stand at no sacrifice of its working qualities. The different parts are ingeniously combined, are strong and firm, and in the parts subject to friction I have introduced, as much as possible, new compensating bearings, which enable the instrument to endure any amount of work and still retain smooth and reliable movements, Working microscopists will understand the value of this quality. When contracted, it stands but 11 inches high, but can be extended to 18 inches. The base is of brass. And has the tripod form: pillar and arm of brass, connected by a solid joint, which allows inclination of body to any angle; rack and pinion for coarse adjustment, fine adjustment by our patent frictionless motion; main

UP FOR AUCTION IS A VINTAGE RUSSIAN MADE MICROSCOPE. I believe this was from the era of the Cold War. Comes in metal"James Bond" style metal case with Russian markings. I didn't put it together. But you can see it has lenses and eyepieces as well as a few cups for holding specimens. Also comes with a AC plug. I have not plugged it in, so do not know if it works and am selling"as is. It appears to be in nice shape. The only flaw I can see is a dent in the top of the carrying case. The case measures about 10 1/2" x 12" x 4 1/2. The AC adapter does not fit in the case, Please email me if you have any questions.
