25 ANTIQUE EARLY 1900'S MICROSCOPE BOTANY SLIDES W/ DEVIL ART SIGNED SCIACCA
I am not an expert on microscope slides. I will do my best to describe these slides. The 25 slides date to the early 1900's. A couple of them have the dates on them of 1901 and 1906. I believe they are all botany related. All are labeled except 2 slides are not labeled so I don't know what they are. I am not sure but there may be a couple of duplicates or they maybe just a different stage of the species. The wood slide box appears to be original to the period. However the top of the box has interesting Devil side show art by Tom Sciacca. The box is signed by him. I can't make out all the labels on the slides but the ones I could identify are: Erythronium Albidum- Trout Lily Cladophora Vagabunda- Ocean Plant Bryopsis- Pacific Ocean Algae Vaucheria- Algae Stylophorum- Dafidell Erigenia Bulbosa- Wild Flower Cornus Florida- Flowering ... morePlant Selaginella Kraussiana- Club- most from South America Ranunculus Flower- Flower BUYER TO PAY ONLY $6.50 SHIPPING BY PRIORITY MAIL WHICH INCLUDES TRACKING NUMBER AND INSURANCE.
