The tankard features two large flaring handles on each side made of brass and attached using copper rivets. The interior sides of the rivets are stamped with "C.A.S. & Co." on the hammered sides. The top edge is rolled and the entire piece is made on one solid piece of copper, having no seams. The bottom has a short foot with a cavity on the underside. Very stout and in great condition.
