this is an exquisite pair of antique handmade Asian brass candle stick holders. they are very heavy and made from thick material. it is a matching pair and have a tri-footed leg which are in the shape of stylized dragons. it also has very ornate highly embossed scenes throughout the levels of the piece. and also has 2 detailed handles. it is signed on the botom by maker one measures 9 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches and has a wonderful patina from age. they can also be used for an incense burner. To be put in the middle of the base they are in great shape and very rare. one base has a small crack but not bad. Each girandole weighs almost 3 pounds. The brass/bronze has an aged patina. Vintage brass candelabra pair, circa 19th century w/ figural hounds
Beautiful pair of heavy brass or bronze vintage candelabras. They are each approximately 23" high. 9.25" wide, and 8.25" deep. The base measures 7" x 7" Their combined weight is approximately 27 pounds. I believe these are 19th century but I have no way of authenticating the age. They have interesting figural hounds near the top and are very well made. I have not been able to locate any makers marks on them. This is an old antique pair of showy brass candelabras with porcelain roses and mum like flowers from a wealthy old estate. They are selling As Is due to damage to every flower. A couple flowers could be replacements as not for sure. It had lots of old candle wax which is the green color on the brass. I removed most of it and it comes off nicely. AMAZING and UNIQUE ANTIQUE BRASS AND MARBLE GIRANDOLE Purchased at an antique store in Savannah. Georgia. I was told by the owner that he acquired it from and estate in Pennsylvania. Beautiful brass three arm girandole. This charming centerpiece candelabra features a pair of native American Indians with a colonist. The ornate brass piece sits atop a two tiered marble base divided by a strip of decorative brass. There is a tiny chip on the left front corner of the bottom marble piece(best seen in photo# 2) Each candle arm is the branch of a tree covered with leaves in an openwork design. It measures 18" tall x 13" wide x 4" deep. Candle holders can be removed so that you could add a bobeche if you like. Description Rare and beautiful Antique Sabbath three branch candle holder from the early 1900's. It has a beautiful scrolled framework with facing morphed lion features. The drip plates and sockets are removable as well as the stem. I could not find any signatures on the piece. It measures 6 1/2 inches across. And 11 3/4 inches tall. It is very old and is imperfect as many items of this age. There is wear and tarnish and and a natural patina. There is even some old candle drippings in the holders. Gorgeous showy brass functioning ornamental candelabra with draped crystal bead like jewels on chains attached to bobeches. This fancy candle candelabra will make your room look grand the 5 burning candles will offer a good amount of light to your room. Measuring approx. 16-1/2" tall x 7-1/4" widest x a base measurement of 7" x 4-5/8" in size. These beautiful bronze and marble candelabra- a pair- can be used with or without crystals. They can also be reconfigured. With parts that unscrew easily; the whole top section can be removed. They are 19" tall and 10" wide at the widest point. The marble is dark, almost black, with a slightly greenish cast. Wonderful condition. Good patina, solid marble, all parts intact. They weigh about 6 lbs each without the crystals, so they're substantial. Absolutely stunning when used on the dining table with lit candles. These will be carefully packed. Vintage Copper&or Brass Candelabra with Cobalt Blue Glass Vase and Bobeches Candelabra is 5-1/4 at its highest point and 8 inches at its widest point. Tarnished with wax residue by holders. Unsure of the metal/metals. Blue Vases(comes with one extra vase) is 3 inches tall with a 3 inch diameter. No flaws on one vase. The other vase has a small chip on its rim that is barely visible. 8 Bobeches(one extra set of 4) are in excellent condition with majority of gold trim intact. They have a very small amount of wax residue. I did not detect any makers mark but was told it was Swedish. Note: Candles and plastic flowers are NOT included. The metal has and age patina and the drop cups do not match. One of the two candle cups has a slpit(please view the photos) Rare and possibly unique. SUPERB DESIGN! This Modernist/Brutalist era(60s/70s) ERA CAST brass candelabra is sooooo stylized. Without being abstract. The candelabra is 6.5" tall.11" at its widest(top) and 6" at its base. It weighs in at over 2 lbs. The The piece has a"chamfered" design.as a well-carved wooden piece would exhibit. The plinth base appears to be welded to the holder. The piece appears unpolished.with a warm and glowing patina. There are traces of residual green wax in the depths of the cup. There is a shallow crease/dent 2" into one arm. There is a"foundry" pit or two in the cast. There is an unusual gun metal gray oxidation on the bottom of the base as well. It looks as if it SHOULD be signed. I find no provenance. AN OLD VETERAN OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, WHO HAS A PEG LEG, STANDS IN UNIFORM WITH HAS CRUTCH AS IF SHOULDERING A RIFLE. I BOUGHT THIS AT AN ESTATE AUCTION IN GREEN BAY WISCONSIN. WHERE THERE WERE MANY VINTAGE TYPE OF THINGS THAT HAD BEEN STORED FOR MANY YEARS. THE ARMS ARE ADJUSTABLE TO GIVE YOU MANY DIFFERENT LOOKS. IN THE PHOTOS I HAVE THEM ADJUSTED TO BE IN THE PYRAMIDAL CHRISTMAS TREE, ORNAMENTAL, LOOK. I PUT A COUPLE PHOTOS IN. OF THE UNDERSIDE BOTTOM, OF THE LOWER STAND PART, YOU CAN SEE THE BRIGHT BRASS COLOR ON THE BOTTOM BECAUSE THE LACK OF OXYGEN IN THE TRAPPED AIR DID NOT HAVE A CHANCE TO OXYDIZE IT, HOWEVER YOU CAN SEE THE REST OF THE CANDELABRA HAS MANY, MANY YEARS OF OXYDATION[PATINA] I DID NOT TRY TO CLEAN OFF THE PATINA. YOU CAN SEE ON THE BOTTOM SHINY PART THERE IS A BIT OF DISCOLORATION OR STAIN. THE WHOLE TOP PART IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. Box A-F. This is an amazing estate find. It is a bronze 7 head candlestick holder Royal Dragon Barge. This ship has very intricate design carved into the bronze. The piece is not signed but is still a wonderful piece. The bronze has great patina. I am pretty sure it's an antique piece, it has a wonderful primitive look to it. The overall dimensions are 11”T to the tip of the nose x 22”l end to end the base is 3” x 7.75” x 1.75”T The candelabra area is 11-7/8”l Each candlestick hole is.75”at rim and tapers down and are each roughly 1.25”t Please view all pictures carefully as they are part of the description. Antique (1900-1940), Solid Brass 7 arm Floral Candelabra 12 inches tall & heavy
I bought this solid brass candelabra at an antique store when I was in high school.that was 50 years ago. I had to look really hard to make out the"made in Korea" on the bottom. I think it might have come back with a soldier from the Korean war? The candle holders are like little flowers and the bend of the arms is reminiscent of trailing vines. This little gem is HEAVY. At 6 pounds. It is 12 inches high and 12 inches across at the widest. What's pretty darn cool about this is that all the pieces come apart for cleaning.which I just did. However, I found that if you leave Brasso on the brass overnight it turns"Verdigris" that dusty turquoise color that certain metals attain when left outside for a long time. So, if you like that, now you know how to make it happen. It comes off pretty easily with hot water and rubbing ... morewith a soft cloth. Also, because all the arms and parts come off and easily hook back on.you can use it for a single candlestick if you so desire. After cleaning it. I considered keeping it, as it is so pretty.but I have no where to put it, so I guess it's time to let you appreciate it instead. I know you will admire the glow of candles as a lovely centerpiece or as bedroom ambiance.
