Vintage Hammered Copper and Sterling Silver Plate / Wall Plaque Vicky 1950s Peru
For your consideration. A very cool little plate or wall plaque made of hand hammered copper and sterling silver by Vicky Industria Peruana, circa 1950s Peru. The plate has a large sterling silver anthropomorphic Incan bird god holding a staff and is hallmarked 925 on the base of the staff. The plate is in good vintage condition. There are some slight stains to the copper, as seen in pictures 2 and 3, but minimal patination. The piece has a hook on the back and is ready for hanging. Measures 5.75 inches in diameter. An intriguing little ethnic piece sure to add brightness and flare to your mid century decor scheme.

I have given it a quick wipe to remove the dust and cob webs and offer it to you. This plaque measures approximately 13 3/4" in diameter and 16" if you include the stem. This piece is in very good condition with original dark patina and some surface wear. There are no chips. Cracks, or dings. It can use a good polish or stay as is. It is stamped R=baj=s. From a historic Kentucky estate. This is an unusual vintage piece. It may have been intended as a dog show wall trophy. The back plate is solid copper. But after checking, thanks to an Ebay member's info. I see the dog bust is spelter or commonly known as"white" or"pot" metal with a copper and bronze finish. The frame is a beautiful grained two toned walnut. Not sure of the age, but I believe it is circa 1930. There is a makers name behind the dog snout.PATD. CHAMPION PRODUCT L.A. CALIF"maybe the Champion Trophy Company? The photos may not allow for the extreme relief of the dog head.he really stands out from the mounting. Vintage 1982 Grunwald Monument Copper Wall Plaque Relief This art copper wall plaque measures 11 1/2" tall- 10 1/4" wide. We have two plaques the second with different scenes and slightly bigger. This ad is for this one but please be sure to see the companion piece in our other add The details on both are fantastic. This copper panel features the Grunwald monuments that immortalizes The Battle of Grunwald. Fought between the joint armies of Poland and Lithuania against the Teutonic Knights on July 15, 1410, is considered to be one of the greatest battles ever to take place in medieval Europe. A defining moment in Polish history, the battle was immortalized in Krakow with the unveiling of this weighty monument in front of an estimated 160,000 people on the 500th anniversary of the event in 1910. Antoni Wiwulski's(1877-1919) original ... moremasterpiece was, not surprisingly, destroyed by the occupying Nazis during WWII and the copy that now stands in its place dates from 1976, having been faithfully reproduced using sketches and models of the original. At the top on his horse is the King of Poland Władysław Jagiełło, his sword pointing downwards in his right hand. At the front is his cousin the Lithuanian prince Vytautas(Vitold) who is flanked on either side by victorious soldiers from the joint army. The dead man at the front is Ulrich von Jungingen, the Teutonic Order’s Grand Master, who lost his life during the battle.

This beautiful 3D 20" x 20" round copper plated plaque has been in my collection since buying it at a Home Party. It features a log cabin with a man and woman taking a rest after cutting a tree. A dog is laying in the yard near the front door. A cast iron pot is sitting on a log bench. Acorns and oak leaves. Are displayed around the outside of the plaque. Please see photos for mostly minor dents. When hanging. The imperfections accrued in the last 40 years or so are not too noticeable. Since moving. I no longer have a place to display it. This piece looks great in a log cabin.

huge antique 1800s hand hammered Tuscan battle copper wall plaque sculpture old
This is a very large antique mid 19th century hand hammered copper Tuscan battle wall plaque. It is completely hammered by hand out of a large piece of copper and has acquired a lovely patina from age. it is done with an abundance of intricate detailing and done in high relief. it is a very detailed depiction of a Tuscan battle with many male. Female, and child figures as well as horses and structures. the copper is then wrapped over a board for stability. it measures 39 1/2 inches by 22 1/2 inches. has normal ware from age. Refer to photos. the board is bending a bit but would frame nicely and would be sturdy. some of the wrapped edges are worn but displays nicely from the front.
