SIZE/MEASUREMENTS: Height: 145 millimeters(5 3/4 inches) Breadth: 79 millimeters(3 1/8 inches) Thickness: 80 millimeters(3 1/4 inches) CONDITION: Very good. No repairs but the majority of glaze is gone. A little wear and a few blemishes consistent with any decorative item which was buried for over one thousand years. A very thick alkaline soil deposition layer. Not flawless, but certainly in a better than average state of preservation– and unrepaired! Stands on its own. DETAIL: A nicely preserved clay statuette so wonderfully characteristic of Tang Dynasty statuary. Sancai. This auction is for a fine pair of genuine Victorian Staffordshire figures. They are made from glazed white pottery with traces of gilt highlighting and depict a Highland piper and hunter. Both figures are dressed in green and wear kilts. The hunter is shown resting against his gun with his dog at his side. He has a feather in his hat and a cape over one shoulder. The piper is wearing a sporran and is holding bagpipes. The figures stand 15' high and measure 8' from side to side and 3 and 3/4' from front to back. Both are in very good condition given their age(and the fact that we brought them back from England in hand luggage! with no chips. Cracks or flakes. The paintwork remains good. Victorian Era. Hand Painted French Colbert Bisque Boy& Girl at the Seashore Figurines What a wonderful pair of scarce Victorian era(late 1800s) hand painted Bisque child figurines. Rich colors and gilt detail trim. This young pair appear to be at the seashore. Standing with pail and shovel in hand searching for clams or seashells! The young girl has a shovel in her left hand and a bucket in her right hand. The young boy has a shovel in his right hand and holds a bucket in his left hand. Both figures are incised on the reverse side of the base with Colbert's distinctive signature. The children have exceptional details with blonde colored hair. And they are wearing adorable swimming attire, in pale blue with periwinkle blue accents. The girl’s swim dress is adorned with delicate blue flowers on it. The dress is trimmed in gold. Her ... moreface is lovely and she has blue eyes. She is standing in her bare feet and has her dressed pulled up to keep the hem from getting too wet. The boy also has blue floral design on the front legs of his swim attire. Rich colors and gilt trim enhance the delicate bisque and finely colored detail of the face and eyes of these figurines. The toes. Hands and face are exquisitely molded with outstanding detail. They are so realistic and well made they seem almost ready to come to life. The bases feature molded cresting waves and shore in pale blue with light tan accents. The boy stands 12” while the young girl is 11.75” tall. They both measure 6” at their widest point on the base. These pieces have no chips. Cracks or repairs. I believe that each has a slight flaw which probably occurred during firing. There’s a small spot on the boy’s face(see photo#4) and a dark spot on the girl’s left arm just below where her sleeve ends(see photo#5) These very hard to find pieces are priced considerably below their value. Vintage pair of porcelain victorian lady lamp figurines made in Germany
This is a very old pair of beautiful porcelain lamps made in Germany from the early 1900's. They are both numbered 14702, there is a makers mark on the side but I am not able to find much info but believe it might be Dornheim Kock Fischer. They are 9 1/2" high overall and the figurine it's self is 6 1/2" high, 4" wide, and 3 1/2" deep. These lamps both have the original cloth covered cords that they first came with and will have to be replaced if you intend to use them. While unmarked. These large bisque figurines were made in Germany during the late 19th century, c. 1890. The intaglio eyes and facial painting look very much like Gebruder Heubach. They measure 15" tall and are very heavy! They are dressed in colonial-inspired clothing which is very typical of Victorian bisque figurines. With the exception of a few minor flaws, they are in excellent condition. The girl has one broken missing finger.the pointer finger on her left hand, over the fan, is missing. This is a 3 piece set of a Victorian lady and gentleman couple and a tea table with a tea pot and 2 cups. As you can see in the pictures the table and tea pot and cups were obviously cast in 2 parts that were not matched up properly and is uneven as you can see in the pictures. Also there is a few minor defects in the lace on the gentlemans cuf and the ladies dress as you can see in the pictures. These I am sure are in the mold as these figurines are not the highest quality. But they still look good. These will be double boxed and shipped priority mail with tracking and insurance. For your consideration is a charming pair of porcelain figurines manufactured by the Goldscheider-Everlast Corp. According to kovels.com. The Goldscheider family left Vienna in 1938 and started a factory in Trenton, NJ in 1940 as"Goldscheider-U.S.A. In 1941, it became the'Goldscheider-Everlast Corporation. The lady figurine is in excellent condition. She measures nearly 9" tall and has no defects other than some light cracking of the paint enamel due to age. There are several marks on the bottom of this piece including the trademarks of Goldscheider-Everlast and the name of the piece. Rendezvous. The gentleman figurine is in poor condition due to the fact that he broke at his ankles and was glued back together. Please see photos for evidence of breakage and glue. He also measures 9" tall. Here we have a pair of vintage bisque porcelain spill vases which measure just over 4 1/4" tall and 3 1/2" wide. They have no cracks or repairs. The vases are made of very thin porcelain which is uneven and different thicknesses. There is an insignificant fleabite on the inside of the vase to the right of the lady. PORCELAIN LADY FIGURINES FROM JAPAN BALLERINA, VICTORIAN, LADY W/DOG
This is a lot of six different style lady figurines from Japan. The largest is the lady with her dog(Russian Wolf Hound? standing about 5-1/2" tall with a 3" x 1-3/4" oval base. She is in a light blue coat. Black hat and colors. The next is a Dutch looking gal holding her skirt out about 5-1/8" tall in blue and yellow hat with green and white skirt. The other girl is 4-3/4" tall and looks to be holding skirt to dance. Also in blue and white. These three are done in a matte glaze. The pick girl with flowers is about 3-3/4" tall. The Victorian figurine is only 3-1/8" with green, rust, blue flowers, and gold trim. The little ballerina is about 2-7/8" with green and pale green tutu in lace. Gold trim on shoes and base. The pieces are marked on the back with a number which is typical of German manufacturing. There are no chips or cracks and are in very good condition. Very nice looking figurines made in Germany. Each stamped"Germany" and each stamped with a number that appears to read"13853" it's much clearer on the female figurine than on the male) We are not sure if these are Dresden or not, so we cannot make that claim. We are not experts, and giving that there is no maker's stamp that we can see, the maker is unknown to us. This set is an elderly couple reclining and sharing a cup of tea. Accompanied by their dog who sits at the left of the master's footstool. The man is dressed in lavender and white, and the woman is dressed in the same colors. The base of each piece has hand painted gold embellishment which is quite worn. Very finely detailed and gorgeous. Condition: Some soiling and dust. Marks etc. One small finger broken off the right hand of the lady figurine. The sale is for this pair of figurines. I remember when I bought these that they just stood out from everything else in a tall glass case full of lots of vintage and antique ceramics. They measure app 8 1/4 inches tall and are in very good condition with the exception that the woman's head was broken off at some point and put back on(I did know that when I bought them.notice the stick inside as part of the repair) There is lots of gilt decoration and I'm sure there has been some loss. Those smudges on the back of the man was dirt and is now removed.

VERY RARE FINELY DETAILED LARGE VICTORIAN COUPLE STATUE FIGURINES/ RENAISSANCE/ PORCELAIN This stunningly large and detailed pair of figurines measures just about 22 inches tall by 7 inches at the base. Gorgeous coloring throughout each piece and very finely detailed. Colors are still very nice! Each appears to be individually hand painted. No maker's marks or markings that I could find on either piece. These came from my great aunt's home and she had them well over 50+ years. The woman figure has a beautiful shy and sweet facial expression as she looks at her suitor. She also has gold gilt paint accents throughout as well as meticulously detailed flowers on her dress. Some of the details are raised designs. She is holding a few pages of a love letter(one has a chip that appears to be very old. Please see picture) Other than a few ... moresmall stress lines behind her dress collar(see pictures) there appears to be no other damage to her and no repairs. The man figurine is just as detailed. He also has the gilt gold paint and is highly detailed. He appears to be holding something and not sure if part may be missing. He has had repair work(it appears the repair done is old) There is a crack visible through and around the bottom part of the piece near the base and feet that were repaired(please see picture) It doesn't appear that their are any other defects or missing pieces. He is still amazing to display! The delicate workmanship is incredible! Both still display very nicely, they really are like art pieces! Excellent antique condition victorian couple hand painted Fern Japan figurines marked. Both pieces are accented with pinks. Yellows, green, gold and blue eyes. Paint details are beautifully done especially in facial areas as seen in photos. These pieces would be a great addition to any figurine collection, a great start to an antique collection or a terrific addition to any victorian inspired home decor.
