This auction is four a set of two Dresden figurines. They are both marked with the signature Dresden Germany 11 and 1050. I have never seen this pair before. They both have slight damage. Antique Early American chalkware seated man and woman 19th Folk Art RARE
This is a chalkware man and woman or boy and girl. That are both seated. The man is 10 ½ inches tall and 5 inches wide. The woman is 9 ¾ inches tall and 4 ½ inches wide. They are molded from plaster of paris. They are likely from the Pennsylvania area and date to the 19 th century. Both figures are wearing hats. They have their original paint which is white. Black, brown, red and mustard. There is some paint loss. The woman has a chip on the edge of her hat on the back. A crack is visible on the man where his head has broken off and been repaired. These chalkware figures are usually animals and figures of people are pretty scarce.

This is 2 statues of a man standing and a woman sitting. Their clothes have stiff lace that does not move. One statue is complete. The other is missing the man's left leg and the woman's left arm. They are Victorian looking, beautiful and unique! They are not exact copies of each other, just a little different, as you can see in the photos.

OLD CAPODIMONTE FIGURINE OF SEATED WOMAN
This auction is for a very pretty Capodimonte figurine of a seated woman. Piece is quite detailed. Her only flaw is a piece of the lace on dress is missing. This is off to the side toward the back. And is not visible from the front. All of her flowers, fingers, and lace are not chipped or broken. Face is well painted. Measures about 5 1/4 inches tall, and about 6 inches across. Has gold detailing on the chair. Bottom is stamped as shown in photo.
