This is a very sweet and rare to find German bisque baby created by the Karl Schneider factory c1880-1910. He is one of the nicest I have had to sell. An adorable handpainted face! He is in excellent condition with no chips or repairs and measures just under 9 inches wide by 5 inches high. It stands 5 inches tall, 5 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches deep.

This is an original matching pair of Victorian era. Hand-painted bisque porcelain busts of a girl and a cavalier boy that is circa 1880's- 90's. This pair of charming bisque figures are unmarked. Judging from the technique, colors, and quality of this small busts I would say that they could have easily have been made by the GEBRUDER HEUBACH factory in Germany, but you can be the judge of that yourself. These delicately modeled antique bisque figurines features a elegant Victorian girl in a beautiful bonnet and handsome young Cavalier. Both are done in a bright jewel like pastel colors. This figurine is a boy with a dove at his feet. The figurine is 14 ¼ inches tall. The boy is in 18 th century dress. It is done with very good detail especially when viewing the fingers. The hair and the dove. The figurine has a glossy glaze on the boy and the dove. The remainder of the figurine is matte. The figurine has an impressed mark on the back with two lines through a C or G. We believe the mark is that used by Unger Schneider& Cie from 1875 to 1879. The number 7219 is under the mark. The figurine is in very good condition with the only damage being to the wing and tail of the dove. There is a small firing crack on the bottom. There is wear to the gilding.

The makers mark on the bottom as seen in picture 7, is of a pair of scissors with hand painted at the top, 18 and 59 in the middle on both sides of the scissors and at the bottom Under Glaze is written, below the tips of the scissors is the letter C and also on the bottom is a label stating Genuine Glazed Porcelain, Made in East Germany. This is a pair of nicely made Unger Schneider Boy and Girl Spill Vase Figurines with Cats and a Dog. Pastel colors: blue. Yellow, purple, green. The maker didn't finish painting the back of the figurines spill vases. CONDITION: gold bead missing on the boys shirt/jacket, each figurine has a small spill vase and on both it looks like the maker didn't finish the bows or they are chipped, not sure(see pic 10) wear on boys front left shoe. Cute German bisque piano baby in blue gown with white bib and two playful cats. He measures 6"long x 2-1/2" high x 2"wide and is unmarked. Most certainly made in Germany-Schnieder or Heubach. The left leg has been repaired. I cannot detect any other imperfections. Even though repaired. A nice addition to your collection. The makers mark on the bottom as seen in picture 7, is of a pair of scissors with hand painted at the top, 18 and 59 in the middle on both sides of the scissors and at the bottom Under Glaze is written, below the tips of the scissors is the letter C and also on the bottom is a label stating Genuine Glazed Porcelain, Made in East Germany. The figurine shows a young girl trying to shoo a goose away using an umbrella. Her facial expression is wonderful, at one look, we know she is angry and the goose looks like it doesn't want to leave with its neck extended. These are two lovely seated Victorian or Colonial Courting Couple Porcelain Figurines. They are approximately 6 inches tall. 3 3/4 inches wide, and 2 inches deep. The word Germany is impressed into the back of each and the numbers 17485. The G DEP symbol for Carl Schneider is impressed on the lady figurine. In excellent condition. I can find no flaws. Fully marked and wonderful! Hard to find these old Carl Schneider german bisque figurines. This darling baby in the pram is in excellent condition. Dates to the late 1800's to the early 1900's. Beautiful detail. Measures: 9" in length. 5" in depth and a tad over 8" in height. Nice large size, displays beautifully. See closeup photo of the mark. And detailed analysis of the mark in the paper tag. I will ship insured only. Which is included in the shipping fee.
