As near as I can tell from my brief research, this dish was made by a company called Beyer ... more& Bock. The mark says “Rudolstadt” and shows a crown above a capital B which is what signifies this maker. The raised star is what defines the period of time in which it was made. There are some flaws with this piece. The gold shows wear, there is a dark mark on the outside of the dish (a firing flaw?) and there is a light stain on one end of the inside. Otherwise it is a lovely piece, with beautiful deep rose and pink flowers bordering a pistachio-green colored top edge. Gold edging all around the top, with two oblong slits at the two pointed edges to serve as dainty “handles”.

T his is a lovely old figurin e by Rudolstadt A beautiful young girl dressed in baby blue holding a badminton racket and shuttlecock Her dress is exquisitely hand painted with tiny flowers. This figurine. Along with another I have listed right now of a little boy in blue belonged to my mother-in-law and has been packed away for I don't know h ow many years. I took them out a couple of years ag o and took photos. Until I put them up a couple of days ago. I didn't realize how covered in dust they both are and it shows in the photos. I op ted not to clean them. Because I don't want to use something on them that could hurt them. I will leave that up to the experts. Inc. was founded in 1882 with their subsidiary in Germany supplying the Straus business with own porcelain products in the range of luxury goods like figures. Elaborate coffee sets and such. During the years between 1882 and 1889 the director of the Rudolstadt factory was Carl Louis Christian Eduard Müller who in 1890 founded his own porcelain company under the name of E.A. Müller in the town of Schwarza-Saalbahn. During the first years the company in Germany at first disregarded thoughts of marking their items but with increasing business and thoughts of further expansion it became obvious that one should introduce some sort of trademark. This is a late 19th century Rudolstadt, makers of fine antique German porcelain, bisque statue of a loving couple flirting on a loveseat. This pair have such animated detailed faces, typical of Victorian era work in Germany and the pale pink bisque is detailed in gold and turquoise blue, particularly on their clothing, as shown. This is a nice large figurine measuring 9 1/2 inches tall by 8 1/2 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches deep, front to back. Offered for sale a two gorgeous antique Bavarian porcelain vases with wonderful hand painted children& animals on them. Unfortunately. They are both damaged, but still would make a great statement with floral arrangements in them, or just to admire the workmanship. I am selling them AS-IS, with a statement concerning the condition they are in. The head of the girl in the bonnet has been broken off and re-glued on. She is also missing her arm, and I do not have it. On the other vase, the boy's face has been cracked(see pix) and there is a 1/4" chip out of the back of the vase. Each vase measures 11" tall by 7 1/4" wide. These items could also be carefully broken apart and used by a mosaic artist in other pieces. The old Rudolstadt makers mark consisting of a blue"R" inside a diamond is present on both pieces. The additional markings on the underside of the boy is"No. 10" and"393" impressed in the porcelain. And a handpainted"23" The girl has an impressed"393" on the front and a"No. 10" on the bottom. The bisque porcelain pair have matching bases. Some of the wonderful handpainted details are accented with gold or have some dimension to the dots on the girl's apron and boy's scarf. They have the most beautifully painted antique German doll figurine faces. Complete with tear ducts and teeth! And are generally in the folds or undersides. This includes a tiny one along side the nostril on the girls face. Nothing structurally compromising, but rather showing their age. Still a beautiful pair of Rudolstadt figurines! There are a couple of tiny chips on the bottom of the bases. The girls scarf and basket show some sheen, but the overall paint is matte. These two large antique Rudolstadt figurines of a boy and a girl are very special and beautiful. The boy is holding a toy boat and the girl is holding a baby. Both of them are beautifully dressed in Victorian type attire. The faces and the posture of the figurines are very pleasant and calming. They are modeled and painted exceptionally well. A Beautiful Pair of Large Antique Royal Rudolstadt Victorian Bisque Figurines! T his pair of antique Royal Rudolstadt figurines is very special and rare. They are beautifully dressed in Victorian type attire and seem to be leaning next to a fence. Possibly near water. These were made by RW Rudolstadt in Germany sometime between 1904 and 1924. Per the mark on the bottom of the base. The base bears the RW inside a crown with"Germany" above and"Rudolstadt" below the crown. Both figurines are imprinted with a"21" above a"455" as well as a written"38. Both figurines are made of bisque ceramic pottery and are very large- the girl stands a 15.5"h and the boy is 15"h! Each base is approximately 6.5"w. Both pieces are hand-painted and accented with gold gilding. The girl figurine is in great ... morecondition. There is some minor loss to parts of the gold gilding and a speck of paint missing on the base; however, the boy needs a bit of repair done. The boy figurine is missing the tip of his pointer finger and on his other arm, his wrist is still attached well, but there is a crack along the wrist(please see photos) However, both of these parts could be repaired. The boy also has slight loss to gold gilding as well, due to age. Victorian RW Royal Rudolstadt German Porcelain Piano Baby Figurine Vase Dresden
This is a beautiful hand painted porcelain figural vase depicting a sweet young girl near a fence in the spring time letting out a little bird from it's cage. It was created in Germany by the Royal Rudolstadt factory. Measures approximately 8 1/2 inches high by 8 inches wide and displays beautifully. There is a little damage. The little bird on the flowers has broken wings and a chip on it's tail and there are some chips to the white applied florals and green leaves. One tight hairline short to the side of the base that looks like part of a firing flaw. No damage to the little girl.
