As near as I can tell from my brief research, this dish was made by a company called Beyer ... more& Bock. The mark says “Rudolstadt” and shows a crown above a capital B which is what signifies this maker. The raised star is what defines the period of time in which it was made. There are some flaws with this piece. The gold shows wear, there is a dark mark on the outside of the dish (a firing flaw?) and there is a light stain on one end of the inside. Otherwise it is a lovely piece, with beautiful deep rose and pink flowers bordering a pistachio-green colored top edge. Gold edging all around the top, with two oblong slits at the two pointed edges to serve as dainty “handles”.

Features fine detailing on the sides and bottom(see photo) as well as a pair of handles on each side. The pestle is a long, double-ended design with light decorations along the shaft. A mortar and pestle is a tool used to crush. Grind, and mix solid substances(trituration) The pestle is a heavy bat-shaped, sometimes dual ended object, the end of which is used for crushing and grinding. The mortar is a bowl, typically made of hard wood, ceramic, brass, or stone. The substance to be ground is placed in the mortar and ground, crushed or mixed with the pestle. Sometimes referred to as an"Apothecary Grinder" by individuals unfamiliar with its use, the proper historical name is"mortar and pestle" The mortar is 5 inches tall and has a 3 1/2 inch base. Being solid brass. It weighs 5 pounds, 11 ounces. This set is very old. And as such as the kind of wear one would expect from an item used like this. There are scrapes, dings, dents, and some patina. However, the brass is still quite bright and the piece itself is very solid. The pestle has similar wear, especially on both of its dual ends, but for the antique collector, this is perfect. Ernst Bohne Sohne- EBS Rudolstadt Germany Boy& Girl Dresden Figurine Anchor You are bidding on a beautiful pair(Boy& Girl) of Rudolstadt/ Dresden figurines by Ernst Bohne Sohne. Circa 1880, that are both handpainted in pastel blue colors. The figurines are 5 1/2 inches tall and are in excellent condition. The boy is holding a canvas and painting a bird while the girl is looking over her shoulder. The markings on the boy are hard to distinguish as it looks like EBS impressed, but the girl has the EBS Blue anchor under glaze and EBS impressed(more clearly) and the number 494. These are rare examples of EBS figurines, as I have only seen the girl once before and she sold for over $160. They would make an excellent addition to any porcelain collection. This is an Antique Rudolstadt Germany Figurine Planter. It is a Group of Victorian Children dressed as clowns sitting on a log. It measures about 9 by 7 inches and is about 7 1/2 inches tall. The children are dressed in; peach. White, light blue, and beige. There are additions of little moriage gold dots all over. It is marked on the bottom with a diamond with RW in it, topped by a crown also; GERMANY RUDOLSTADT. There is also a stray 10, and incised numbers; 4202 and 1. One of the children's heads is glued back at the neck. This was done long ago with a water soluble glue, and in my opinion is worthy of a professionally restoration. Still a Great piece no matter what!

And a handpainted"23" The girl has an impressed"393" on the front and a"No. 10" on the bottom. The bisque porcelain pair have matching bases. Rudolstadt was a faience factory in the Thuringia region of Germany from 1720 to about 1791. In 1854. Ernst Bohne began working in the area. From about 1887 to 1918, the New York and Rudolstadt Pottery made decorated porcelain marked with the RW and crown familiar to collectors. Other pottery marks picture two eagles inside a shield. Attached back-to-back with a smaller shield between them. This porcelain was imported by Lewis Straus and Sons of New York. Which later became Nathan Straus ... moreand Sons. The word Royal was included in their import mark. Collectors often call it"Royal Rudolstadt. Most pieces found today were made in the late nineteenth or early twentieth century. Rudolstadt Bisque Risque Bathing Beauty Original Figurine marked Germany ca 1899
Incredible German bawdy. Risque bathing beauty made after 1890 and bearing a faint, but identifiable, blue mark"Germany" with a crown over a diamond shape containing the initials RW with the city name"Rudolstadt" underneath. There is damage to the little finger of the right hand and the second finger of the left hand is gone. It retains what looks like a little faux pearl necklace. It measures a little over 14" in height and the base is a little over the four inches wide. Underneath is its mark along with incised numbers 3550 and a smaller 31 and a red script 38. The size is unusually large for a"Bathing Beauty"
