The newly established'Duxer Porzellanmanufaktur A.G. bought the porcelain factory in Blankenhain(Thuringia) and at the same time liquidated their own factory in Šelty. The factory now started to produce porcelain. Apart from the traditional products. His grandparents were wealthy and came here from Europe in the early 20th century) C. 1900 This peasant woman is holding a basket on her back and a water jug in her left hand. She is clothed in apricot costume with burnished gold details and impressed marks. Her face is very solemn. She looks tired. The basket on her back is wide enough to hold something like a small plant. It is 3.5" across. The statue is approx 14" high and 6" wide. Condition is good. Recent Estate Find! I did some research online but I couldn't find this particular figurine but did come across this information: In 1900 the company first used the pink triangle mark with distinguished its product today- a rose coloured triangle made from pink porcelain with the inscription"Royal Dux Bohemia" around an acorn. Beneath this acorn is the letter"E" which stands for Elchler. Records show that this logo was trade marked in 1912 and continued to be used until the end of the 1940's when the"E" was replaced with a"D" 1860-World War I: The letter"E" appears in the center of the triangle beneath the acorn. As you can see by the photos it has this marking. Measurements can be seen in the photos. I did very little cleaning to the piece so you will need to clean it up from age ... moreand storage. Vintage Royal Dux Bohemia Porcelain Cobalt + Gold Figurine Rococo Dancing Pair
This exceptionally lovely. Hand-painted porcelain figurine by Royal Dux Bohemia(Czechoslovakia) depicts a dancing pair dressed in a Rococo style. The faces are beautifully detailed, their hands and feet are delicate, and the cobalt blue of their dress is very vibrant. The figurine has a high-gloss surface and there are perfect gold applications all over it. It is 8 3/8" tall, 6 1/2" at its widest, and it stands on an oval pedestal. Underneath the figurine, Royal Dux Bohemia has affixed its Famous Pink Triangle of clay with the letter"E" marking the production years of these enchanting dancers as 1919 to WWII. For collectors of antique or vintage Royal Dux figurines or statues, this elegant 80-year old dancing pair would certainly be a treasured addition. The figurine is in excellent vintage condition.

Up for sale is this large and stunning Royal Dux fine porcelain statue of two women whispering. The colors are charming and the detail is exquisite. The statue is in very good to excellent condition overall. With no chips, cracks, or repair marks to be seen. However, there are some light marks on the right arm of each woman, the base has some discolorations, and there is a small spot of residue on the back of the blue dress. Also, the right foot of the woman on the right shows some discoloration as well. PAIR C. 1912-18“ROYAL DUX BOHEMIA” 17 ¼” CERAMIC FIGURES CLASSICAL GREEK MAN& WOMAN in gold-tinged green and dusty rose: man has wreath in hair and carries lyre. Woman’s hair done up in tiers ending in topknot, carrying large water or wine jug with narrow, up-turned spout. Both wear sandals. Both stand on uneven rocky ground that helps form base(green base circled by wreath) Superbly modeled in every aspect and beautifully. Subtly colored in the classic Royal Dux manner. Marked with the applied pink triangle set into an impressed triangular hollow. There is one old. Visible damage and repair to the man’s extended arm at and just above the crook and elbow. Fissures are dark and quite visible. A drop of fading of fleshtone paint at man’s other elbow. But quite mild. Woman’s left elbow(also of extended arm) is also suspect to us: a ... morebetter repair. But we’re fairly certain a repair was done. Also: we used the word“ceramic” only to be on the safe side because Dux made figures of either pottery or porcelain. But we are 90% convinced that these figures are PORCELAIN because of the clean white undersides and a few other signs.

The figurine measures approximately 9 3/8" by 7 3/4" at the base and 14 5/8" tall. There is a faint scratch on the figures left elbow and a small imperfection in the glaze near the right wrist. There is rubbing to the gilding in various spots-the top of the dress. The shoe, and along the base. One of the dogs is missing a leg. No chips, cracks or crazing were observed. Superb Royal Dux Boy With Fish This wonderful Royal Dux figurine is in excellent condition. Has the triangle pink mark Royal Dux(E) with the number 1207 incised. There also appears the number 53 on the bottom in a red tone. The marks indicate the figurine was made sometime between 1900 and 1947. I have researched this piece and cannot find any information on it so I am assuming it is rather rare. It is 10 1/2" high and done in soft tones of light green. Pink and ecru. His jacket is double-breasted with little buttons and he is carrying a sack over his shoulder. In his hand, he is carrying 2 fish. Royal Dux is the more common name for the Duxer Porzellanmanufaktur. Which was founded by E. Eichler in Dux, Bohemia(now Duchov, Czech Republic) in 1860.
