Antique German Porcelain Woman Cherub Putti Cupid Dresden Flowers Group Figurine
~ Antique German Figurine ~ This is a very lovely handpainted German porcelain figure with fine modeling. Superb coloring, and exquisite porcelain applied flowers. A beautiful maiden sits atop two decorative tasseled pillows, and she is helping Cupid as he is struggling to climb up next to her. Cupid's bow and arrows are on the ground at their feet, and the woman holds one golden arrow in her hand. The figure is a nice large size measuring 8 1/2" tall by 7" wide. And it is in excellent condition aside from arrow has tip chip and a few tiny nicks to flower petals/leaves, very minor. Antique German Meissen Figural Gorgeous! Antique German porcelain group of the muses.C aliope, a female figure with a lavender robe seated under a tree and writing music. A putto by her side to her right, books at her feet. Beautiful coloring and exquisite hand painted detail! The condition of the figure is very good. There are a few limbs missing. And some th at have been reattached. A f ew tiny nics to the corner of the book on the base. But very minor. T he cherubs wings are original and without restoration. ~ Antique / Vintage Bisque Porcelain Cherub Cupid in a Sleigh Figurine German ~
Featured for Auction we have an Antique/ Vintage bisque figurine of a cherub on the side of a dragon headed sleigh. Wonderful coloring. Probably hand painted in pastel colors, with raised enamel. At least we believe this is bisque it may be porcelain. The little cherub is just adorable with his wavy hair, blue eyes, pink wings, and his arrow on his side. It measures about 8 1/2" long by 5" wide and 6" tall. We believe it is German in Origin, but are not certain as there are No Markings. It is in wonderful condition, with minor chipping on the flowers. Also we don't know if the dragons nose is supposed to blunt as it is or if it was pointy originally and broken off and repainted, as it is hard to tell. If you look at the fifth picture, that yellowish spot looks to be a something goopy and mostly came off, you could probably ... moreclean it up even better, its not bad, but wanted to mention it. Rare smaller Meissen Porcelain Figure.M 104 91"Love Bound" A LOVELY MEISSEN CUPID PUTTO TIED UP. This"Love Bound" German figurine depicting the god Cupid dates from the 19TH CENTURY. Cupid is the god of desire. Erotic love, attraction, and affection. As you can see by viewing the pictures. Our poor little putto sits on a on circular grassy pedestal. The perimeter of Cupid's pedestal is painted in beautiful hues of blues and pinks and accented with gold draping and a sea shell design. This little angel and mighty cherub is sans clothing with only a pink/mauve cloth covering him. His hands and small purple and white angel's wings are tied behind his back. His facial expression show discomfort at being put into such a helpless position. His hair is wavy and detailed. They don't make porcelain figures and figurines ... morelike this any more! Very good condition- no cracks. One of the cherub's hand shows signs of previous repair. The top of one of his feet is chipped as is common for these 19th century Meissen antiques. Underneath are the clear marks used between 1875 and 1900- The Meissen crossed swords in underglaze blue. First quality. Incised M 104 and small 91 impressed in the base. Antique Hochst German Porcelain Cherub Figurine with Flowers - Marked
Antique porcelain Cherub with flower basket. Very nicely made. Nicely painted with rosy blush and nicely sculpted with details such as knee dimples and inner thigh creases, beautiful face. Has a higher glaze than is showing in the photos. As is, see photo. Unsure exactly how many of the molded flowers are actually intact due to age, but at least half are. Fingers are perfect, as are toes. Still a beautiful cherub antique German porcelain collectible.

Pair of 18 th Century Fine PorcelainCherub Figurine& French Bronze Candleholders. The easily-removable porcelain figurines measure 7”high and 3” diameter at the base. The bronzecandleholders measure 15” across. 8” wide, and 8 ¼” high. They hold candles7/8” or narrower. These exquisitecherubs are in perfect condition. Except for some petals chipped on a tinyflower(approximately 1/64 th inch) magnified closeup pic shown) Thesecherubs radiate a certain quality of loveliness. Innocence and purity beyondany modern counterparts. Thebronze metal candleholders are marked on the bottom“Made in France” and thefigurines were probably attached to them sometime in the last 100 years. A beautiful antique Schierholz porcelain cherub figurine. It stands 4 1/2 inches tall and is 2 1/4 across the base. This beauty overall is in great condition considering it's age. The tip of one wing is damaged and it once was holding something in it's left hand but the top portion is gone. The tips of the fingers on the right hand and one wing of the butterfly are gone. This is a beautiful pair of German porcelain figures. A lovely pair of angels! They are lovely displays at 8 1/2 inches high and date early 1900s. The boy has a very small chip on the end of one wing and two chipped fingers. The girl angel has both of her wings broken off that were repainted gold. Since they are on the backside, she displays well from the front. Each is marked with hand painted gold numbers to the bottom interior. Early Antique Meissen Figure Superb! Early 18th or early 19th century Meissen figure of Mercury with cherub and rooster! Incredible detail. With beautiful features! Hand painted in beautiful soft colors with gilt accents. The condition is very good, a few minor flaws to mention. The tip of his staff is chipped off, tip of one finger off cherub, and small flaw to tip of roosters tail. No other damage, and display is excellent! The measurement is 8 1/2" tall by 7" across! The piece is unmarked, which you sometimes find with the very early pieces, it could have rubbed off or the manufacturer just forgot to put the stamp. I the same figure I found on worth point, and it was also unmarked, with exception of incised h mark, also on the bottom of this figure. Really a wonderful find and exceptional display! GDR/DDR Kunstporzellan (E. Germany) Cherub w/Cornucopia Porcelain Figurine
You are bidding on a pre-owned vintage but in beautiful condition porcelain figurine of Cherub standing a top a cornucopia at base. This is part of the makers Four Season's Line. The manufacturer is the former Metzler Ortloff Porcelain Manufacturer renamed Kunst Porzellan in Illmenau. GDR during the East Germany Regime. It was purchased with my family directly at the factory in Ilmenau when we visited my grandmother who lived there back in the early 1970’s. This figurine is lovely with very soft. Almost pastel-like coloring for the grapes, sach ribbon as well as other fruits in the cornucopia. Gorgeous glaze as well!Pictures just don't do him justice. He measures approx. 5 1/8" high(13 cm) and has an arm spread of about 3 1/2" 8.9 cm) at his widest. Pair of 18th Century Porcelain Cherub Figurine and French Bronze Candleholders
These cherubs radiate a certain quality of loveliness. Innocence and purity beyond any modern counterparts. One holds a sheaf of wheat and a sickle, and one holds a basket of grapes and a gold goblet. They seem to be saying, A loaf of bread and a jug of wine. The easily-removable porcelain figurines measure 7" high and 3" diameter at the base. The elaborate bronze candle holders measure 15" across. 8" wide and 8 1/4" high. They hold candles 7/8" or narrower. These exquisite cherubs are in perfect condition, except for two tiny petals chipped on a flower- see magnified closeup pic- the chips are approximately 1/64th inch. These items weigh just over 2 pounds each. The bronze metal candle holders are marked on the bottom"Made in France" and the figurines were probably attached to them sometime in the ... morelast 100 years. Some of the gently restored ceramic flowers on the"vines" of the candle holders have been chipped and I will provide the few remaining flowers which could also be repaired and added back on. The holders were once wired to hold small electric flame bulbs with cardboard supports which looked like candles. The electrical wiring was removed so they could again be used to hold candles if desired. I also saved the hardware if one wants to put in new electrical wiring. Do not be deceived by the new-looking mark on the bottom of the cherub figurines- a blue crown over double C mark. I believe this mark was fabricated and stamped by whomever created the"made in France" lamps. There are other indecipherable. Green markings which were probably the original marks from a German porcelain factory. The cherub figurines are quite old, perhaps from the 1700's, Ludwigsburg or Kronenburg, KPM or Augustus Rex also had green markings. An expert could probably recognize these pieces by their style. Please note that this item is not returnable. Not shipped for inspection. They are very fragile and will be shipped fully insured by USPS.

This is a beauty with gorgeous coloring in pastel colors throughout with raised enamel painting. The cherub is just adorable with his wavy hair. Chunky little body and those lovely wings! The piece measures about 9" tall by 5 1/2" in depth and 3 1/2" wide. We believe it is German in Origin, but are not certain as there are No Markings. Only someone's writing in pencil on the bottom. This is a rare early hand painted porcelain figural grouping of two lovers in a garden with a cherub flying over them. A bust in the background and a dog and two lambs. It bears a very faint blue crossed swords mark on the base. I believe this is an early Meissen piece, please take a look at the pictures. Measures 9 3/4 inches high by 7 inches wide and is heavy weighted. Condition is overall good. There is some damage and restoration. The cherubs one arm has been reattached at the shoulder and he has a repaired bell the little stick to hit in in his other hand is broken. The lady has a broken thumb and end of finger tips, the little dog has only the very end of his one paw chipped. Antique Cherub Figurine BASSANO ITALY Soft Paste Porcelain ITALIAN POTTERY PUTTI
This is an antique soft paste glazed porcelain Italian pottery figurine featuring two winged cherubs or putto. One is playing a lyre lute and the other has a horn or wind instrument. The piece is signed on the underside incised"CG. BASSANO" The cherubs are atop a beautifully patterned plateau with raised scrolls and dart embellishments impressed into the ceramic. They are leaning against a baluster fence. They have the finest handmade details of wavy hair, fingers and toes, feathered wings, facial features, and strategically draped ribbon sash on their bodies. The condition of this item is very good, noting that the end of the little horn was broken off but is not noticeable. I actually have had this piece on my shelf at eye-level for a little while now, and hadn't noticed the flaw until just now upon final inspection for condition ... morereport. Height 5.5" base diameter 4.25" The work is much finer than other Bassano pieces I have seen. Exact age unknown, but I would guess more than 60 years old. This would be beautiful under a glass dome. Antique Vion Baury French Sevres Porcelain Bisque Cherub Shoe Figurine Dresden
This is a beautiful rare to find early porcelain French bisque figure of two sweet cherubs hugging on the end of a pretty blue shoe. It was created mid 1800s by the Vion& Baury factory of France. You usually see this model made by other companies in a larger size and not quite as finely detailed as this one. It measures 4 x 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 inches and displays beautifully. Just two small shallow chips to one side of the ruffle, hard to notice on display due to the white ruffles.
