Antique 19th Century MEISSEN- Je les Ramene" Porcelain Cupid Motto Figure Figurine Antique German Meissen“Je les Ramene” cupid motto figure. The heavy porcelain figurine of a cupid or putto is surrounded by and holding flowers with a quiver full of arrows. The fine hand-painted porcelain figurine has a raised oval plaque on the front with the French words“Je les Ramene” written in script. The figure is signed on the underside with the blue under-glaze crossed swords Meissen mark. The number 11 in red glaze and an impressed“F12” and“48” The Meissen figure has tiny chips to a few of the flowers and an approximate ½” crack on the pedestal that is holding flowers. The original garland that the cupid is holding is broken in several parts and only two pieces of it remain as seen in the photos below. We areffering a 19th Century Meissen Grouping entitled the"Capture of the Triton" Originally modelled in 1769 by. J.J. Kaendler with the assistance of Punct and Schoenheit. This grouping depicts two scantily-clad Nymphs and a putto. Hauling a net containing fish and a young Triton holding a conch horn. The rockwork base modelled with reeds. Shells. A lobster and a frog. This is a rare and very complex grouping. Large grouping the dimensions are 12 3/4 inches in height. 10 inches in length and 5 1/2 inches in depth. It is marked with the Meissen crossed swords and inscribed with the. Model number C35 and the painters mark 49. As with all Meissen everything is condition. Exceptional Meissen Crinoline Group. The big billowy floral dress, and the romance of the 18th century. A delightful model by JJ Kaendler, this piece originating to the 19th century. This is particularly RARE piece, very seldom seen on the market. It depicts a courting scene, and the man has just come back from the hunt-a fox and a dove are his prizes to his beloved. The detailing in this piece cannot be overstated, the intricate painting is incredible, even the tree trunks show their rings, as well as each hair on their head individually painted-just another Meissen masterpiece! I have yet to find another of this group on the open market, very, very rare!

The Senses" c. 1890 This exquisite figurine of a dainty young woman at her table is an allegory for the senses: sight. Taste, smell, touch and hearing. A young woman sits beside a french provincial table with a bottle of wine. An array of pastries and breads and a fruit plate. With a napkin in one hand and a pastry in the other, she thoughtfully savours the scent of one of dainties, before eating it. She is prettily dressed in a frock with a turquoise top. With pink ribbon and white lace ... moretrim, and a white lace bodice. The skirt of the frock has crimson, pale blue, and white stripes and a fine floral over pattern, in the same colours. The skirt is finished with a lace border. Pink court slippers with gold buckles peek out beneath the hem. The woman is further adorned with a fine lace collar with a crimson jewelled brooch. Matching gold and crimson earrings, and a crimson bow in her hair. She is seated on a crimson-topped. Cushioned stool, with with a basket of lemons beneath it. The entire scene rests on a rectangular plinth with pink. Gilt-trimmed archways in a border around the gilt-trimmed base.
