Antique 19th Century MEISSEN- Je les Ramene" Porcelain Cupid Motto Figure Figurine Antique German Meissen“Je les Ramene” cupid motto figure. The heavy porcelain figurine of a cupid or putto is surrounded by and holding flowers with a quiver full of arrows. The fine hand-painted porcelain figurine has a raised oval plaque on the front with the French words“Je les Ramene” written in script. The figure is signed on the underside with the blue under-glaze crossed swords Meissen mark. The number 11 in red glaze and an impressed“F12” and“48” The Meissen figure has tiny chips to a few of the flowers and an approximate ½” crack on the pedestal that is holding flowers. The original garland that the cupid is holding is broken in several parts and only two pieces of it remain as seen in the photos below. A superb pair of 19th century Meissenporcelain figurine 4 branch candlestick holders exquisitely decorated withapplied flowers with one featuring man and putto and the other featuring a lady and putto sitting on the base. Attributed to the Meissen modelerLeuteritz. These are absolutely gorgeousand have several chips(as expected for this age) to the flower petals and leaves. We areffering a 19th Century Meissen Grouping entitled the"Capture of the Triton" Originally modelled in 1769 by. J.J. Kaendler with the assistance of Punct and Schoenheit. This grouping depicts two scantily-clad Nymphs and a putto. Hauling a net containing fish and a young Triton holding a conch horn. The rockwork base modelled with reeds. Shells. A lobster and a frog. This is a rare and very complex grouping. Large grouping the dimensions are 12 3/4 inches in height. 10 inches in length and 5 1/2 inches in depth. It is marked with the Meissen crossed swords and inscribed with the. Model number C35 and the painters mark 49. As with all Meissen everything is condition. Juno& Iris(Inscribed on the back before firing) Although similar to"The Triumph of Juno" this is a grander piece with much more goin on in this mythological scene with 3 cherubs and 2 peacocks along with the stunningly beautiful, scantily clad Iris attending the also beautiful Juno with right breast exposed. Both main figures bare beautiful legs, feet and toes. The nymph type cherubs also bear great detail. The colors used are some of the most spectacular I have seen with Meissen from this period. The peacocks are lifelike and they are gorgeous! There is a chip on the underside of the blue drape or quilt and the cherub to the left is holding something that has broken off, not sure what it was.
