This is an insertion lace, meaning that both ... moreedges of the lace are straight and it was meant to be butted up against another piece of fabric or lace. On the edge of the lace(either side) there are tiny threads that can be pulled, when done, this lace can be shaped into ovals, circles, a scalloped hemline or even gathered into a ruffle. This lace has a pretty and delicate pattern, it measures 1/2" wide. When I was ironing this lace, I had sprayed starch on it and when it was damp, it touched another piece of pink fabric. There several spots of pink on this lace. I counted 3 areas of light pink and I've taken a photo of it, so you can assess the damage for yourself. It might wash out, but it might not, that being said there is still plenty of good usable lace here, as there is a total of 11-5/8 un-cut YARDS.that's a lot of lace for your sewing and crafting needs. Over the years this lace has softened to a soft, light beige. This old lace is well over 100 years old and to find this much un-cut yardage is hard to come by. Be sure to view my other lace auctions. They are seated on a log and he has hat in hand and he is gazing up at her.She is wearing a beautiful dresden lace dress with applied porcelain flower accents. and she is holding her bonnet. At her feet there is a little dog. Approximately 4 inches tall and 4 inches wide. Stamped on the back of the with blue mark that looks like the Ackerman& Fritze mark but I can't quite make it out because it is blurred. This is a very Large Stunning Porcelain Lace Spanish Dancer playing the castanets. Her lace has gold trim around the shoulders and neck. The colors on the dress are black, white, yellow and red. She does have some lace loss, very little, just above her left foot trim on bottom row(see pic 10) and back bottom row(see pic 11) Frankenthal, makers mark on bottom of base. She has on a beautiful white lace dress.with the white lace around her top.with gold edging…there is also pink lace with numerous flowers.she is sitting with her hands entwined around the pantaloons.wearing gold ballerina shoes…with a flower in her hair and the green leaves on it. This is a Beautiful Victorian seated lady figurine made in Germany. She is seated and holding a fan in her hand. She is wearing a lovely pink and white dresden lace dress which is accented with little porcelain roses. Approximately 3 3/4 inches tall and 4 inches wide. Marked on the bottom of the base in Green with the FW Frankenthal mark and the number 13. In red are the words Made in Germany. There are some numbers incised in the porcelain as well. This beautiful antique Luigi Fabris porcelain seated lady is holding two baskets of porcelain flowers. The neckline and the hem of her dress are trimmed with dresden lace. A porcelain flower also decorates the center of her neckline. She is wearing sandals on her delicate feet. Her upswept hair is decorated with a ribbon. She is in excellent condition with the exception of a small piece of lace that is missing on the back of her right shoulder(see picture 5) She's 4" tall and 4-1/2" wide. Rare! This is a beautiful antique porcelain Lady figurine. Her skirt is white iridescent with pink roses and green leaves on it. Her coat is different shades of pink and also iridescent. Her hat is white with a pink rose and also iridescent. The lace around her collar and sleeves are raised porcelain and gilded with gold. She is standing on a white platform and also guilded with gold. She stands approximately 8 1/2 inches tall. Some of the iridescence is wearing off but she is still in great shape. No chips. Victorian lady with lovely lace dress sweet tiny flowers adorning the skirt, I see one flower that is missing a petal, the skirt has has some missing lace, please look at all of the pictures, in spite of that this is a lovely German Dresden with beautiful detail, bodice is pink, beautiful flowers in her hair, with a single stone at the front of her head her shoes are peeking out from the dress are perfect, base has gold trim, marked with the Dresden mark and Germany, cord is in excellent condition and is new, lamp works fine, measures 15" tall and about 7" at the widest point.Thank you for looking. Stands 5" tall and has a wooden base. the base is an updated upgrade. and had been previously glued to the base but is not now presently glued. Unique antique Sitzendorf Lace seated lady figurine. This figurine is still beautiful for it's age. Even thought it has some issues. It dates to 1887 from the backstamp. There is significant lace loss, she is missing a thumb. She is still very beautiful from this time period and she is seated holding a fan, the floral pattern base is unusual. This is what I can name Antique from a Capital letter! this figurine is really old and has been kept in our house for a long time. She is pretty. She is really nice. How detailed the face is! OMG I love her, love her, love her! The lace. In consists of two levels with different ornament. Is is hanging it, for a long time she has been hanging it! The mark ENS on the other side of the basement has Black color. I don't know what does that mean. I know only one thing- she is Incredible! I am not sure about the fingers. Vintage Cordey Figurine of Lady Wearing 18th Century Gown with Lace & Roses
I am selling a beautiful ceramic figurine from Cordey- of an elegant lady. Her hair piled up on her head and held secure with a pink rose and lavender ribbon- her 18th century gown embellished with ruffled lace- all supported by a rococo-inspired base, enhanced by gilding. Height is 11 3/8" Condition is close to excellent- just some losses to lace ruffles on front(see photos 6& 7) and a small loss to lace on reverse. Still stunning!
