Rare Pair of Antique German KPM Porcelain Girl & Boy Sleigh Dresden Figurine
This is a gorgeous pair of large handpainted porcelain figural KPM sleighs! A boy and girl dressed in Royal clothing and both sleighs covered in apprlied porcelain flowers. Beautiful! They are heavy weighted porcelain and each measure approximately 8 inches high by 10 inches wide. Both have some chipping to the applied flowers and leaves and on the boy's sleigh. It looks like there is some yellowing and wear to the paint/glaze. Not readily noticed on display unless you are looking. Overall a gorgeous Victorian pair for the collector! Military KPM W.F.KISTER German Porcelain Figurine DUMOURIEZ French General
Up for your consideration is this beautiful. Outstanding, antique German porcelain figurine of French, Napoleon's general. Charles du Perier, known as Dumouriez(1739- 1823) a French general. He won the battles of Valmy and Jemappes and conquered Belgium. The figurine is 10 1/4" or 26 cm tall and stands on a base that is 2 1/2" by 3" or 6.5 by 7.7 cm. The coloring is very vibrant and the detail is wonderful. There is a blue mark on the underside, an"S" dissected with crossed swords, denoting the AW Fr. and impressed 12753. Kister porcelain factory of Scheibe-Alsbach, Thuringia, Germany. Also on the underside is a brief biography in French. Mint condition. Before buying. Please email us with any questions. I'm going to guess that Martius was named after the ancient Roman calendar's version of the month of March. Martius is in very good condition with no crazing, but there is a chip under his right hand. To look at the figurine eye level and normally, it doesn't look like anything's awry. You'd need to hold him upside down to see the chip. A piece of the object in his hand must have broken off, but I purchased this figurine as you see it. The male figure was done after a model by Friedrich Elias Meyer from 1765. Depicting Summer and done as a spice dish. He at some point in his years took a fall as someone repaired his one arm and hand(see photo's) He is missing just the very tips of his fingers on that hand. He could no doubt be professionally repaired and other than this one fault he is in excellent condition! He has no other chips or cracks and has weathered his many years very well. The lady figure is in excellent condition with just the smallest of areas right at the rim of her base that show a bit of wear in her porcelain. Other than that she is in beautiful condition with no cracks or chips. Early Antique Meissen Figure Superb! Early 18th or early 19th century Meissen figure of Mercury with cherub and rooster! Incredible detail. With beautiful features! Hand painted in beautiful soft colors with gilt accents. The condition is very good, a few minor flaws to mention. The tip of his staff is chipped off, tip of one finger off cherub, and small flaw to tip of roosters tail. No other damage, and display is excellent! The measurement is 8 1/2" tall by 7" across! The piece is unmarked, which you sometimes find with the very early pieces, it could have rubbed off or the manufacturer just forgot to put the stamp. I the same figure I found on worth point, and it was also unmarked, with exception of incised h mark, also on the bottom of this figure. Really a wonderful find and exceptional display! KPM 19th Century pair of Porcelain Busts Diana & Saturn 4 1/4" tall
Outstanding Pair of 19th Century KPM Busts The pair were purchased in Germany by my grandmother while stationed there with my grandfather at the end of WWII. There is no doubt they are authentic considering their marks and where/when they were aquired. The detail is exquisite and remarkably beautiful. As can be seen in the pictures. There is a chip out of Diana's base on the right rear corner as well as a tiny chip off the left side of the crescent on her head. There is a very tiny chip on Saturn's base in the back on the left corner and some wear of the gold outline on his base. I am referring to them as Diana& Saturn because these names appear under the glaze where the bust meets the base on both figurines. Both of them have the KPM mark of the Royal Porcelain Manufactory in Berlin. Diana has what I can make out to be a207 or ... more2207 with a horizontal h next to it impressed next to the KPM mark while Saturn has the number 843 with a horizontal h impressed in the bottom accross from the KPM Mark. Extremely Rare. KPM Porcelain Rabbits; Circa 1834-37; Horizontal Scepter Mark. This trio represents a very rare collection of some of the finest made porcelain in Europe. The Royal Porcelain Factory(Konigliche Porzellan-Manufaktor or KPM) was created in 1763 by Frederick the Great and has been meticulously manufacturing extremely well made pieces for savvy collectors the world over ever since. Their attention to detail is unrivaled. And the care and precision with which they fire these masterpieces, creates an almost glowing milky white glaze. These rabbits seem to belong together, which is why I did not want to sell them seperatly. I don't believe there is another set like this for sale anywhere on the world wide web. The cobalt blue scepter marks on the bottom have a diagonal mark, and all references I have checked seem to point to ... morethe period between 1870 and 1945 for manufacture. KPM Kister porcelain figurine vase 19th Cent Walenburg Germany Dresden
This beautiful KPM vase was made in the second part of the 19th Century by the Kister Porcelain Factory and carries their mark. KPM over crossed lines. The company later became Scheibe- Alsbach(VEB) in Dresden. It stands 10 inches tall by 8 inches wide by 8 inches deep. There are 2 hairline cracks one at the bend in her knee and the other near her foot going 3 inches toward the cherubs foot as can be seen in the pictures.

Fine Antique German Porcelain KPM Peasant Woman Figurine Berlin Dresden Lady
I will be adding many more figurines so please check back. This is a lovely hand painted porcelain figure of a woman carrying a basket. The detail is extremely well done. Note the fine porcelain ribbon bows on her bodice. She does have old restoration the the basket and handles and the very tip of her left thumb is chipped, please enlarge all photos for details. Although the KPM mark is light. I did purchase this in a lot of fine old porcelain which included the KPM bowl I recently sold. She is heavy for her size and measures about 8.5" high. Offered is this beautiful KPM porcelain figure made circa 1911 for the HOCHZEITSUG Marriage Procession and designed by Adolf Amberg. It stands 10.5" tall. The two extended fingers on the right hand. Which are connected, have a clean break that has been repaired. Also there is a tiny spot of black paint in the hair which has wore off. Both condition issues can be seen in the photos and I will provide more photos if requested. The decoration on the piece is the best I've ever seen. I've seen this piece decorated in two other styles and I can find 3-4 examples of each of them styles. This is the only one I can find with this decoration. It's a very unique figurine made to hang on a wall that was surrounded by a all kinds of figurines from Royal Worcester.Daulton and Windsor,Dresden and Meissen and almost every Hummel ever made.It's in a antique frame that's probably older than the figurine.There's no way to get the plaque off without taking a chance on breaking it.I would like to find a makers mark and believe me I've tried.That's why the starting price is were it's at.The plaque is attached to a silk like material then to a board that has a weird loop and nail assembly that attaches it to the frame.I can't find anything quite like it that's both a figurine and wall plaque of this quality.I think it's French porcelain and looks like something Jacob Petit could have done but it's not as ornate as most of his pieces and I think it's ... moreto old to be his.My best guess would be Sevres but it has the same quality you would see from any quality manufacture.The figurine is in excellent condition without any chips or cracks.The gold is worn on the shoes and a couple other places.This frame is really old and has some hairline cracks I've pictured.It measures 17" x 14" and is similar to the frames of the George 111 era.

Resting" by Paul Scheurich, 1917-18 This exquisite odalisque was modelled in a"Jugendstil" influenced-style by Paul Scheurich. A well-regarded German painter, graphic artist, and sculptor who worked during the first half of the 20th century. This large white porcelain is of a semi-recumbent nude woman. Curly hair pulled back, eyes downcast, gazing over her shoulder, perhaps at an unseen admirier behind her. The woman is arranged on a oval plinth in the form of a grassy knoll. With one arm supporting ... moreher on an outcropping. The plinth is banded with an incised ovoid porcelain frame as the bottom of the base Scheurich began making porcelain figurines in 1911. He worked at KPM from 1915-18. then went to work for Meissen. When KPM was restructured after the war. In addition to his porcelain work, he designed posters, was commissioned to design banknotes for the German government, and created the front of house curtain for the Berlin Opera in 1933. he won a number of international prizes for his work in the 1930s. He died during the Soviet occupation of Berlin in 1945. This lovely sculpture would make a remarkable addition to a collection of European porcelain. KPM KONIGLISHE MANUFAKTUR BERLIN AQUARIUS ZODIAC FIGURE Royal Berlin( KPM) Zodiac figure of Aquarius made of Blanc de Chine(All White) hard paste porcelain for which KPM is most famous. This originally was designed by the Legentary German sculptor Freiderich Elias Meyer(1723-1785) in 1775 who w orked as primary master modeler for KPM& he was professor in the Royal Academy of Arts in Prussia. This figure represents an Allegory of Aquarius Zodiac sign and was executed as a boy wearing heavy clothes and holding his hands in front of his mouth and breathing them to warm. The whole figure stands on a pedestal. At the right side of figure there is a type of shield wit h the Zodiac sign of Aquarius. It is marked under the base with the famous KPM Royal Berlin mark of the blue scepter which was introduced when King Frederick the Great of Prussia ... morebought the factory during of 18th Century.
