Vintage table lamp 13" Colonial figures REWIRED boudoir Occupied Japan? CHIC
This fabulous lamp is from my personal collection. It is in good condition. I purchased it several years ago at an estate sale and had it re-wired. The Colonial couple stand on a gold-tone base. Just lovely! It uses a standard bulb. I've used it for accent lighting with small-watt bulbs. But I think it can handle at least 40 watts, maybe 60. It has no chips or dings. There is a small crack on one side. Near the base, at the edge of the woman's skirt(see photo) The color is primarily white with gold accents. Spots of hand painted color include the hair of the man and woman and the pink, blue and green flowers in the woman's basket. It stands about 13.5" tall. To the top of the light bulb stem. To the top of the man's head is 9" It is about 5" side to side and 3-3/4" front to back. I think this is a likely ... morea lamp made in post WWII Occupied Japan. It may be marked Occupied Japan on the bottom of the porcelain figurines, but the figurines have been secured to the lamp's base so I cannot see any markings and don't want to risk damaging the lamp to be sure. I know that I originally purchased it as an Occupied Japan lamp, to add to my collection. I have enjoyed this lamp for many years and hope to find a loving new home for it. Vintage Bisque Lefton China Japan Colonial Man Woman Figure Planters. Very cute set with lots of detail. Detail that is normally seen on German pieces. This set has an estimated age of 1950 to 1960, it is not marked however, that is not uncommon as many Lefton pieces only had paper labels. Although it could have been made by another maker, I really feel that it was made by Lefton China due to the high quality. These figurines are 7" tall by 4 1/4" long and about 3" long. They are both very detailed and dressed Colonial attire. Applied petal flowers, with gold accents, the grass on both are has a snow finish like that found on German and Japanese snowbabys. The man is dressed in blue with gold accents. He is playing a gold flute and there is a pink bird on his arm, the lady is dressed in pink with gold accents and holds a string ... moreinstrument, there is bluebird on her arm. Both are very good condition. Fingers intact, I don't see any damage to the man, but due to the intricacy I could have missed something small, the lady is missing a flower from her shoe and the tip of the bird's tail is missing, again I may have missed something tiny due the intricacy, the very little bit of damage I noted is very hard to see and does not detract from the beauty of these pieces. I gave them a light cleaning but they may need a little more light cleaning with the tip of a cotton swab in order to be completely free of dust. Lovely pair of 5" Colonial figures marked" Made In Occupied Japan" The man is wearing a Paul Revere style hat and a deep blue color coat. The flowers below his coat match the pattern on her dress. She is wearing a floral dress with gold details and is holding a parasol. Her lavender hat has a ribbon that matches the color of his coat. Both are in excellent condition with no chips. This is a beaitoful Vintage Wales Colonial piece. All the color is bright as can be. No crack or chips. The only defects this piece has is the tips of each index finger are chipped off. Personally I can hsrdly tell.

I am not an educated person when it comes to these pieces, and I may or may not be doing something I may regret later. If I am misrepresenting something, it is not my intention.
