Up for auction this evening is a beautiful nude lady half doll with both her arms"away" with left arm completely"away. She is a nude model with a sweet face. She has rosy cheeks. Red lips. Beautiful blue eyes wi th a dark eyeliner above them& on e stroke blonde eyebrows. Photo 4. Her soft blonde hai r is done up rather high on her head in a Pompadour style with sausage curls cascading down each side of her sweet face. Photos 6& 7. She is holding a pastel pink freshly cut rose in her left hand& she tucks a matching rose in her hair on her right side. Both still have their dark green leaves still attached. She is stamped"Germany" on the bottom(last photo) these models are generally believed to be from Goebel. S he is a lovely& sweet lady. Indeed! She has no chips. Antique German Porcelain Dresden Ballerina Lady Dancer Figurine Half Doll Rel
This is a beautiful half doll related ballerina dancer figurine made in Germany. Her arms are raised in a dance pose. The skirt of her dress is white with blue and gold gilt flowers and her bodice is painted in gold gilt. Approximately 4 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide. Marked on the bottom with a blue crown and N as shown. She is in excellent condition with just a manufacturing flaw where there is a small tiny dull spot where there is no glaze under her skirt. pic 12) There is also one tiny chip on her skirt that is not even noticable I have to run my finger across it to even find it. Beautiful Antique Porcelain Half Doll Lady Pin Cushion.
Lovely Antique Half Doll Porcelain Pin Cushion This sweet sewing collectable measures 3 1/4 inches tall. The doll appears to be quite old and is in excellent condition. I didn't want to take the pin cushion apart to look for markings. So I am selling her as an unknown. She may be German. I can find no chips or crazing. The pin cushion is filled with wood shavings and is a bit fragile, but still strong enough to hold up the doll. A perfect little decoration for your sewing room. This wonderful deco lady looks very elegant in her satin rose pink dress, she was re-dressed in 1988, but with the original braid. She has curled light hair, dark eyes, red lips, and rosy cheeks. This is beautiful large German porcelain Katzhutte figure of a lovely lady sitting on a sofa w a fan. She is a large gorgeous display at 9 inches wide by 6 3/4 inches tall and displays beautifully however the bottom of the base was broken in an area and there are some hairlines coming from it. Besides a few tiny nicks on the back very bottom of the base(very tiny) It displays very well as is. You only see the hole on the bottom when you turn it over. Antique half doll made of lightweight glazed ceramic or porcelain material. 1 7/8" wide by 3 1/4" high with black hair and a pink and white ruffled dress. She appears to be hand glazed with rather primitive facial features and a ringlet hair style. Many of these half dolls were used as handles for pincushions. Brushes, or other utensils but this one has no holes in the base for attaching other materials so we do not know its original purpose. My wife has seen this item for 65 years and assumes it belonged to her grandmother but that is all we know about it. LARGE 4.9" DRESSEL & KISTER Lady HALF DOLL with Molded Clothes and Hair
A large realistic and sensitively modeled and painted lady half doll with molded clothes and hair by Dressel and Kister. The porcelain has a very smooth finish with a semi-gloss and the skin is beautifully colored. Absolutely no damage or restoration but there are a few manufacturing flaws: a rough spot on the right side of the back and one on the underside of the little skirt. Also. The left corner of her mouth is a bit smudged. It is marked with the Dressel and Kister blue crosier and a signature on the unglazed part with the four sew holes. She cannot stand unsupported so I placed her on a ring holder which is not included in the sale. I am not familiar with Dressel and Kister dolls but it probably dates from the 1910s or 1920s. Art Deco 1920's Flapper Lady "Half Doll" Figurine Pin Cushion - Germany
Here is a stunning and rare Art Deco 1920's Flapper Lady"half doll" figurine pin cushion from San Francisco Estate. Made in Germany. Circa 1920's. She is exquisite! This beautiful deco lady has red lips. Dark eyes with lavender eye shadow, and is wearing a green 1920's flapper hat with dark red dangle earrings. She is also wearing a green and lavender blouse with dark red ribbon. Her head is tilted to one side, she has one hand on her shoulder, and the other hand on the front of her blouse. She is attached to a pinkish lavender colored pin cushion with an olive green and white net overlay which is beaded with flowers and stick pins. She is made of porcelain, and the pin cushion is made of silk material over straw. The overall measurement is 6-1/2" wide and 5-1/2" tall. There are no signatures or manufacture ... moremarks that we could find, but we were told that she is from Germany, and is probably marked on the bottom which is covered by the pin cushion. The condition is amazingly very good- shows wear(especially the pin cushion under her skirt- see picture) There are no chips, breaks, or repairs. The estimated value was $125.00 according to the estate. Our reserve is only $49.00. This fabulous deco lady came from an estate in San Francisco, and is vintage. She has a great look- very elegant and unique. Pictures don't do her justice. She is truly a quality piece, and would make a wonderful addition to someone's collection or home. Buyer pays shipping.
