The item does have some minor (not repaired) hairline cracking (see pics) which probably lead too the original owners to stop using it; which probably explains why it is in such nice condition for its age. It measures approx. 12” high and 6” wide.

Up for your consideration is this beautiful. Outstanding, antique German porcelain figurine of French, Napoleon's general. Charles du Perier, known as Dumouriez(1739- 1823) a French general. He won the battles of Valmy and Jemappes and conquered Belgium. The figurine is 10 1/4" or 26 cm tall and stands on a base that is 2 1/2" by 3" or 6.5 by 7.7 cm. The coloring is very vibrant and the detail is wonderful. There is a blue mark on the underside, an"S" dissected with crossed swords, denoting the AW Fr. and impressed 12753. Kister porcelain factory of Scheibe-Alsbach, Thuringia, Germany. Also on the underside is a brief biography in French. Mint condition. Before buying. Please email us with any questions. This is a gorgeous large German porcelain figural grouping mounted as a lamp. It is hand painted and has beautiful details! Created by the A.E. Muller factory of Germany. This grouping depicts a royal couple playing instruments together. The gentleman has lost his flute and one thumb and there is some chipping to the flowers on the base and a little to the porcelain flowers on the ormolu stems, I see no other damage. A large size, entire lamp measures just shy of 2 feet high. Finial on top is missing. The actual figure is 10 1/4 inches tall by 9 1/4 inches wide. This is a charming and beautiful figurine of a porcelain shepherdess figurine. Bowed crook over her left shoulder, a lavender and pink butterfly on her right arm. Many years ago I purchased her in a French antique shop but she could as easily be German. The only mark I can see is what might be an impressed number 79 on the base. Her skirt is bright and colorful. The ruffle around her apron is aqua, the fading gold is probably from handling. Small chip, almost undetected, on the left sleeve ruffle, at the back. The bottom of the crook is gone as well as the tip of her finger connected to it. Barely noticeable unless you look closely. She is nearly 7 1/2 inches tall, adorable.

Antique 12" Bisque Figurine French/German? (No. 466, 10)
Estate Find. Up for auction is this Antique 12" Bisque Girl Figurine which is marked on bottom. Appears to be inscribed with the numbers 466 and a painted#10 on inside edge. Not sure if figurine is French or German as I didn't research it. Bisque is very heavy and has no cracks or hairlines. Only has a little roughness on bottom edge which could be a mold inperfection. Bisque has some stains throughout which I didn't try cleaning. I will leave that up to you. Gold trim on bottom of skirt has some fading. VERY RARE Antique German Porcelain Fairing Figurine Figure French Military Group
This is what I believe to be an extremely rare miniature hand painted porcelain Victorian fairing from the mid to late 1800s. I have looked in my fairing collector's books and cannot find this model. It is extremely well detailed for a fairing and depicts a soldier sitting across the table from a couple with a dog at his feet. There appears to only be some wear to the gold gilt. No breaks or repairs. It is European and the caption as well. I believe the last word is"Attack" however I cannot make out the first word, if someone knows, please let me know. It is very small scale measuring just under 2 1/2 inches high by 2 5/8 inches wide by 2 3/8 inches deep. I am placing it on a buy it now best offer option because I am unsure of it's worth since I cannot find it in any of the books. Lovely Antique Porcelain Busts 2 French/ European Women in Traditional 19th Century Dress. Circa 1870 Description follows the photos. That's a scratch underneath her left eye. Lovely Antique Porcelain Busts 2 French/ German Women in Traditional 1870 Dress This listing is for both of these lovely ladies: finely hand painted French or German Bisque Busts. They have characteristics of both German and French Busts. It is rare to find both of them still together all of these years. The two are truly magnificent and beautiful young maidens. Both are mounted on fancy cobalt blue Doric columns trimmed with gold accents. Molded of bisque or unglazed porcelain. Molded separately and fastened together with a bolt. The workmanship is remarkable. The detail of the cloth is precise with raised dots. The hair also so sharply defined. Both are dressed ... morein a floral print low cut dresses. One is holding a bid. The other a sealed envelope. Both are wearing hats, one a pink hat with a feather, the other a blue ruffled hat with a red ribbon. They are very old. And these two beauties are not without flaws. The girl with the bird: The hand holding the bird has repairs as well as the base. On her proper right side one of her curls has a repair. The girl holding the envelope: Her face has a very faint surface hairline as shown in the photos. Not readily visible unless closely examining. the feather on her hat has some gilding that looks like it was applied to cover the break. Also as chip at the back brim of the hat as shown in photo above. Both of the busts are in two pieces. Bust and base, and are slightly loose. They can be taken apart. I have looked for a signature, but could find none. They are expertly hand painted and extremely well sculpted. The stunning detail of these works is so perfectly executed. The style of the work is similar to Carrier, Levy, and Deboy, and the German artist Muller. I'd be ashamed to tell you what I paid for this little baby. She came on eBay about 13 years ago. I didn't normally collect this type. And have never seen one since. I've normally collected German Heubach and Hertwig type piano babies. There was a bidding war for her, I was obsessed with her little kewpie googly eyed face, and was determined to be the victor. To clarify the title, she is not Heubach, I've added that so collectors can find her, as these rarely come online. The following is the info that the eBay dealer had about her when I purchased her: sold as trinkets at the London Heathrow train station, going to Oissel, France. This tiny piano baby came on eBay about 13 years ago. I didn't normally collect this type. And have never seen one since. I've normally collected German Heubach and Hertwig type piano babies. To clarify the title, she is not Heubach, I've added that so collectors can find her, as these rarely come online. The following is the info that the eBay dealer had about her when I purchased her: sold as trinkets at the London Heathrow train station, going to Oissel, France. Their outfits are decorated with gold accents& ... moredesigns on pinks. White and tan cream colors. One figurine has a nodding front to back head as well as hands that move up and down. The other figurine holds a large fan behind his head and his head nodds from side to side. His hair is up on top of the head in a braid. The set is in good pre owned condition. They have no chips or cracks but the weights that move the heads and hands have been replaced or repaired. I have shown the inside of each to see the inside of the weights. This does not effect the outside and can only be seen from the interior. The Nodder with Fan measures 6 1/8" tall, 5 3/4" long and 5 1/2" deep.
