Antique 19thC Bisque German Porcelain Victorian Boy Soup Bowl Figurine Neustadt_ Hi there.circa late 1800s is a hard paste bisque porcealin German figurine. It depicts a little boy with a bowl in his lap. Spoon in his right hand, and a bib. This was hand painted on the front. The back was not painted as was the custom at the time. This comes from a Pennsylvania estate that we purchased and have more going up for auction shortly. Very nice condition. All original. It is numbered 2734 on the back. very fine and rare french or German pair of hand painted polychrome bisque figurines ca late 1870's to early 1880's in mint shape no chips or cracks. VTG GERMAN BISQUE PORCELAIN FIGURINE STATUES EUROPEAN ADMIRAL BOY GIRL MILITARY
You are bidding on: A GORGEOUS ANTIQUE PAIR OF TALL BISQUE PORCELAIN HAND-PAINTED STATUES FEATURING A YOUNG COUPLE IN ROYAL DRESS AND BICORNE HATS. Here's a BEAUTIFUL find from an estate purchase- I acquired these several years back. And am only just now finding it time to part with them. This pair is just. Well. stunning. No other word for it. They stand about 13.5 inches tall, big enough to make a great display statement, and the colors and paint are dreamtastic! Young man is holding a small french horn in one hand and a letter in the other; young lady appears to be reading a letter just received. Both are wonderfully outfitted in period regalia. With pastel mauves and blues and gilt/gold trim, both wearing the very fashionable bicorner European hats often seen in military parades. There are no date or manufacture stamps on these figures, ... morebut experience and research tell me they are European in origin, probably German, and most likely date to the mid to early 20th century. Both have some faint pencil marks in the recessed areas of the bottoms, looks like initials and perhaps a date but too hard to read and I have no idea if that would be the mark of the original artist or a previous owner. Please know that I am extremely tough in grading my pottery. Porcelain and glassware: I've been collecting. Selling and trading antique items for over 30 years, so I know that the only perfect piece is one that just left the factory. And even then it probably has some original-manufacture flaws. I tend to call out flaws that other sellers might not notice or conveniently overlook, so when I tell you it's right, it's right. I want everybody happy. That being said. Here's what I'd note to condition: Both figures could use some light cleaning from experienced hands. They show some age in the recesses, and there are a few little"age spots" present, notably on the female's right arm area; if you are experienced with fine antique bisque you will know what I'm referring to. German All-Bisque "Boy in Bunny Suit" Candy Container Gebruder Heubach LOOK
A little child is posed standing behind a bisque egg-shell designed for use as Easter candy container. And has a white bunny costume draped over his head and cascading down his back with a real rabbit fur tail. The boy has painted features, closed mouth with a smiling expression, while the bunny-face features solemn brown eyes, painted downcast lips and a grey nose tip. There is a painted number on bottom and I am pretty sure it is made by Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. He is missing some of his digits but these are hard to find in any condition. He stands 5 inches high and is a great piece and as been in my collection for over 20 years.

This adorable pair is a recent acquisition from an estate sale and they are in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks, or repairs that I could find. They measure 5 1/2" to 6" high. They have no makers mark, only numbers which are listed in my title. I know these were made in Germany and also Japan, and my guess is Germany, but I do not know for sure. There is G on the bottom that has two arrows through then DEP. I took a picture of the bottom as well. When researching these after getting them from my husbands grandmother. I have found that marking to be from Grafenthal and he only used that marking in two years, 1879 and 1886. Antique Vintage German Bisque Doll or Boy figurine With Bugs
You are bidding on one vintage bisque figurine made in Germany. This is a boy with 3 green bugs on him. Two bugs on his hat and one on his arm. Not really sure if this means he has been standing outside a long time waiting for someone. This is a nice size piece. It measures approx 10 1/4 inches tall by 3 1/4 inches diameter across the bottom. Issues; I do not really see any real issues. 2 manufacturer defects. One one top of his hat where there is a rough spot and one around the base which would appear to be a chip but it is painted from the manufacturer over this. There are some black spots on this item. There is a little bit of gold wear. This item is marked. There is a number written in black and also a blue mark. I am not sure what the makers marks for these type of items are. So I can not tell you who made them. I will however try to ... morecapture them in a picture for you to see. I was told this was German bisque, but again, I have no way of knowing for sure. This pair measures just under 18 inches tall, they are each holding books, the girl has one in her hand and has dropped two others, the boy is reading his book. The colors are lovely pail pinks and blues, much detail in their faces. The girl does have some discoloration on her arm, see picture, there is no broken areas on either of the figures. They are in very nice condition and from a local estate that had many wonderful things. There are no chips or cracks. They could probably use a good soaking but are fairly clean. THe little girl has an impressed number of 3534, the little boy has an impressed number of 3532. These are pure white but some photos look a little greyed. it is my lighting. I believe these are considered parian ware probably German and of the Victorian era. Please ask any questions prior to bidding. Their clothing is so nicely done and they each have tiny gold bead like accents on their clothing. It is rare to find a pair of these antique Germany figures together. It is strange as at first I thought they painted a line across it, and it took me a bit to realize it is a crack because it doesn't go around and she hasn't been repaired. Not even sure how it could do that? It doesn't detract from her delightful charm, and I am sure you could do a slight repair on it, but she has been that way as long as I've had her and I just noticed it. I purchased the set at an Antique Auction awhile back and have had them displayed, drawing quite a bit of attention. They do need to be lightly cleaned, or you may leave them as they are. I did not want to damage them in doing so, and they are 1900 c. There is a mark on the bottom of each. The female mark is difficult to see and the male has a better mark, but someone glued felt to the bottom? I tried to pull it back and take a picture. It is a double circle and I can read Germany but not sure what else. The way they did the facial features and the attention to detail make me wonder if they could be Heubach. Offered for auction is this adorable pair of Antique German? Heubach? Bisque Figurines depicting a darling little boy and girl. Each bottle feeding a baby deer or fawn. They have expressive inset. Intaglio eyes. Each figure measures approx. 7-1/2"high by about 6" deep, front to back and about 5-1/2" wide. Neither piece has any markings that I can find. As stated above this pair is in excellent antique condition. No notable issues are found with the exception of a firing crack under the boy figures arm at the sleeve. Given the age of this pair. Some imperfections should be expected, however, anything noteworthy will be mentioned. It is in need of a good cleaning. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN GERMAN GERMANY BISQUE PORCELAIN SPILL VASE DOG LADDER BOY

Antique Victorian era mantel shelf spill vase and match holder of bisque porcelain. 11 1/2" tall. 5" across the base and 3" deep at the base. The back is impressed"9986 GERMANY" It is also marked with the DEP mark and a manufacturer's mark that looks like an overlay of G and I or H. This is one of those whimsical pieces that appealed to the Victorian taste- a young boy with a gathering basket looks down to the base of a ladder at an excited little dog. Except for a few accents of metallic gold, the only painted portion is the boy and his basket, the ladder and dog are unpainted matte white. There is a narrow opening on the back of the ladder that could hold spills and the basket would be an ideal place for matches- they would look like gathered wood ... moreand could probably be struck against the textured exterior of the basket. At some point in time, the basket was broken off of the piece and has been glued back in place. From the front side, it looks in perfect condition and is only noticeable if you know where to look. From the back, you will notice the broken line of separation on the boy's back and at the top corner of the basket.
