DETAILS* This georgeous piece stands 12" tall. There is an ever so tiny little nick on the edge of the back of her dress. Really not even noticable and only saw it when I was taking pictures. I show a close up of it in my last picture. It does not detract from the piece at all. The back has the numbers 1269 in the porcelain and the bottom has GH Germany and a hallmark. Shipping is free. 11 1/2" Heubach Dancing Girl Bisque Figurine, Marked Heubach, Excellent!
This wonderful antique bisque figurine was made by Gebruder Heubach in the late 1890's or early 1900's. She measures 11 1/2" tall and is in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs. My camera flash really washed her face out.she is beautifully painted and has intaglio eyes! She has the Heubach marking in two different areas. There is an impressed marking along the back edge. Which shows up well in the fourth photo. There is also a blue inked marking on the underside, which I could not capture with my camera due to the flash. I can see no visible damage or signs of repairs. There are a few shallow flakes on the INSIDE of the bottom edge, however they might have happened at the factory(and do not show from the outside at all) She does have a few of the usual firing lines, however they happened during the firing and are NOT ... moredamage. There is a short one where her neck meets her chest(in the front) some lines where her hair meets her neck(in the rear) a short one on the underside of one wrist, and another around the top of one arm, where it meets her lacy collar. If you do not like firing lines or are inclined to think of them as cracks(which they are not) then this figurine is not for you. I know these are firing lines as there is a build-up of the flesh tone in them. The decoration on her dress is particularly attractive and well-done. Lovely Antique Von Schierholz Girl with Apples Figurine c. 1946 well marked
THIS AUCTION. This auction is for a figurine of a young girl holding an apple in one hand and a basket of fruit in the other balanced against her hip. She is about 5 1/4" tall including the decorative base. Her face has been expertly painted and is incredibly sweet. Her hair has been painted strand by strand and the braid held in place with a blue bow. At her feet are several applied flowers(some small chips on petals)The decorative base is accented with lots of gold. The bottom is well marked: in blue underglaze the von schierholz mark of crown with shield and 3 oak leaves as well as A.D. 1946. There are also some incised numbers 99 and 756. There is a major repair on this piece. The little girl's left arm broke off just below the shoulder at one time. It was properly aligned but you can feel the roughness of glue and see some chips ... moreof paint. This could be touched up to be almost negligible but I have not attempted it. There is also the tiniest of chips off her thumb holding the basket. Really a precious piece! I photograph all defects or damage that I notice. Vintage Lady & Man Porcelain Figurine 13" tall - Marked AA - Dresden Germany
My apologies to those that were watching and bidding on this figurine previously. I found a flaw and had to end the auction and relist. This auction is for a vintage porcelain figurine of a lady& gentleman. Measures just shy of 13" tall by 9.5" long by about 5" deep. Marked as shown with an"AA" and a stylized sun. Not sure who the maker is. But judging by the quality, it is likely German. There is a ton of detail on this one. Lots of ruffles, ribbons, flowers, and bows. There is one flaw. If you look at her left arm, there is a bt of ribbon draping over it. I was informed that there is supposed to be a ribbon hanging over her arm and down the front of her dress. This also explains the area on the front of her dress that appears wasn't colored during the glazing process. The bit of ribbon over her arm blends ... morein with her arm and initially I thought she was wearing a glove. You do not see the broken edges unless you flip it upside down. The missing ribbon doesn't seriously detract from the piece. I think it is still quite lovely and I am relisting it as is. I do not see any other cracks chips or repairs. This Sitzendorf figurine stands 5 inches tall and is in perfect condition. It is marked with the Sitzendorf blue mark of the crossed S under a crown and the word Germany in a circle. But it also has a gold anchor mark in the decoration on the back of the chair. It could be a decorator's mark.

Franz Xaver Bergman(or Franz Xaver Bergmann) 1861–1936) was the owner of a Viennese foundry who produced numerous patinated and cold-painted bronze Oriental. Erotic and animal figures, the latter often humanized or whimsical, humorous objects d'art. Noted for his detailed and colorful work, and usually signed with the word: Geschutzt" His father Franz Bergmann was a professional chaser from Gablonz/Bohemia who came to Vienna and founded a small bronze factory in 1860. His son Franz Xaver Bergmann(1861– 1936) inherited the company ... moreand opened a new foundry in 1900. Many of the bronzes from the 1900s were still based on designs from his fathers workshop. He was not a sculptor himself as often described wrongfully. There were many anonymous sculptors. Hired temporarily by the workshops. At the turn of the 19th/20th Century there were about fifty workshops producing Vienna Bronzes. Cold painted bronze' refers to pieces cast in Vienna and then decorated in several layers with so called dust paint; the know-how for the mix of this kind of paint has been lost. Antique porcelain Cherub with flower basket. Very nicely made. Nicely painted with rosy blush and nicely sculpted with details such as knee dimples and inner thigh creases, beautiful face. Has a higher glaze than is showing in the photos. As is, see photo. Unsure exactly how many of the molded flowers are actually intact due to age, but at least half are. Fingers are perfect, as are toes. Still a beautiful cherub antique German porcelain collectible.

For auction. A really pretty antique vintage figurine marked Germany with company mark I could not find but photographed for you. She is hand painted and stands 5 1/2 inches tall. The paint is beautiful and there are no chips or cracks. This Victorian lady is sitting on a chair which has GErmany painted in gold on the underside and the company marking painted on the back of the chair. I do not know if this is a reproduction or is actually old but she is very pretty. It appears to be old, there is green felt on the bottom of the chair legs. O ffering a very old porcelain figurine made by Neue Porzellanfabrik Tettau. It features a Mother& Son. My father brought this back in 1948 after a tour in Germany. It is undoubtedly a pre-WWII piece. The Figurine is a white/ cream color with great attention to detail. The figures stand on a porcelain pedestal with gilded edge. There are two bottom marks. A black underglazed mark"NPT Neutettau" and a slightly damaged original gold colored sticker with the Factory logo and the mark Kuntz. The Figurine stands about 7 1/2" tall. Base is about 8" at widest point. In great vintage condition with no chips. Nicks, cracks or repairs. Minim al g ilding wear though it could probably use a light cleaning Predates WWII because it has no"US Zone" mark. It was brought to the US by relative s in 1948. The original models from HOCHST factory which closed in 1796. Until 1856 these models were used for the manufacturing of copies in Faience. Later on, also copies in hard paste porcelain were made. At first the figures were marked with the wheel mark, where to a"D" was added in order to identify it as a DAMM product However the objects from the period 1860-1884 where the"D" was removed from the mark, are very difficult to recognize when compared to true HOCHST objects. In 1884 the original HOCHST models were sold to the MEHLEM Faience factory located in Bonn. This Company did not imitate the wheel mark.
