Vintage Germany Porcelain Bisque Piano Baby Figurine Doll from estate LR? Crown?
I recently purchased this beautiful. Bisque/porcelain piano baby at an estate. I uploaded 9 pictures hoping you can tell more about it and the condition. I am not sure of the exact age or the maker. I took a close up picture of the imprinting on the back, bottom side and on the bottom. There's some numbers that are difficult to make out on the back side near the bottom and then'Germany' going across. On the bottom looks to be a crown with the initials'LR' It looks to be in good displayable condition. I do not see any chips, nicks or cracks. I did notice, and I think it was in the making, at the top of one of its arms, there's a little place and not even sure how to describe. It's where the skin color is suppose to be to the edge of the arm sleeve but it has a spotting or place where it looks like some of it was ... moreleft off in the making? again.not sure how to describe. I tried to get a close-up of it so hopefully you can see what I am referring to. It measures approximately 5 3/4 inches tall. And from the front of its feet to the back, it measures approximately 4 1/2 inches. It is some dusty, etc. I haven't tried to clean. I am selling just the way I purchased. Offered for your consideration is this fantastic bird marked with the second Crown Staffordshire mark. And signed by artist and designer Barbara Linley Adams. She also marked it"House Wren" and the number 259. This bird measures approximately 3 3/8" in height. The mark on the bottom is in excellent legible condition. According to websites regarding the dating of Crown Staffordshire. It seems to indicate the bird was made between 1906 and 1930. However, I do not believe this is accurate as the designer, Barbara Linley-Adams, died in 1995. She was known to work there as late as 1962, but I do not know how early she started working there. This comes from the collection of my late Grandmother. And I am listing her entire collection. This Sitzendorf figurine stands 5 inches tall and is in perfect condition. It is marked with the Sitzendorf blue mark of the crossed S under a crown and the word Germany in a circle. But it also has a gold anchor mark in the decoration on the back of the chair. It could be a decorator's mark.

Natural slight wear to the flesh color and hair. Completely normal for pieces this old. Roses look perfect. There is one spot of dark on on one rose. But that is gold paint.the artists brush must have touched it. One small firing line on the inside of one.inherent to the piece. I believe a tiny tip of one pinkie is missing. Milan, Italy, or Capodimonte Capo Di Monte collectibles are porcelain pieces that are highly colored and have a strong relief style. The chair measures approx. 2 inches tall. And 1 inch wide. This figurine is beautifully dressed in a accordion pleated white open weave lace with pale blue open weave lace on th e edges. There are two layers in the dress. She also has the same light blue open weave lace as a collar. She is wearing a small light purple hat. And her brown hair is fashioned in long curls hanging to her neck on either side of her face and down her neck in the back. She has a beautifully painted face with light violet eyes. Arched eyebrow, and a heart shaped mouth. Between the bodice and skirt is a small pink flower with a green leaf. The dress is short sleeved and she has one hand smoothing ... morethe skirt. Her hands ha ve open fingers. The second hand is reaching up towards her head as if to smooth her hair or fix her hat. She is sitting on a white porcelain chair that is decorated with a gold tone design. Only the back and two legs of the chair are visible. The bottom is stamped with a gold tone crown and the letter D under it. And below that it says Original and Germany. The number that is listed on the bottom is 0/ 870 A. There is a gold tone sticker that says Made in West Germany. This figurine is in good vintage condition. There are no chips. Cracks, or crazing. A small but highly detailed figurine. Here we offer a most beautiful Royal Crown Derby Figurine. This is a Bone China Peacock standing on a branch surrounded with hand applied flowers and hand painted detail. It is marked on the bottom with the Royal Crown Derby Mark in Red. It is also marked with the numerals XLVI. Then there is the artist's signature as well on the other side J.Plant. This lovely statue has a large Branch the Peacock is standing on that is filled with hand made flowers. The tail is just exquisite with 24 Kt Gold paint all the way down to the base. Good quality- bleu crown mark over an inverted& stylized'V' which I think is a Volkstedt Dresden mark- If you know otherwise pls email and I'll add it to the description. She stands almost 6" tall. 6" wide and almost 4" deep. She wears a white mop cap, has very delicate, beautiful features, blonde hair. Has ruffles around her cap, around her neckline, bottoms of her sleeves and hemline. Losses of the fine lace but its not really that noticeable. Her skirt is raised on the right side to expose her underslip, more white lace. Gold, mauve skirt, a dark bleu blouse with a gold stomacher(gold is worn here) with told trim. This auction is for a old/antique Dresden-type figurine grouping. It has 2 young women sitting in a field? with a lamb beside them. The piece is well marked on the bottom with Germany and crown. Etc. and#8343. I do not know the name of the company that made it. The figurine is about 8" long at base, 7 1/4" tall, and about 5" deep. There IS damage to the lace on the gowns-both on the skirts front and back and also on cuffs. The flowers also have some damage.
