Rare Pair of Antique German KPM Porcelain Girl & Boy Sleigh Dresden Figurine
This is a gorgeous pair of large handpainted porcelain figural KPM sleighs! A boy and girl dressed in Royal clothing and both sleighs covered in apprlied porcelain flowers. Beautiful! They are heavy weighted porcelain and each measure approximately 8 inches high by 10 inches wide. Both have some chipping to the applied flowers and leaves and on the boy's sleigh. It looks like there is some yellowing and wear to the paint/glaze. Not readily noticed on display unless you are looking. Overall a gorgeous Victorian pair for the collector! It depicts a little boy with a bowl in his lap. Spoon in his right hand, and a bib. This was hand painted on the front. The back was not painted as was the custom at the time. This comes from a Pennsylvania estate that we purchased and have more going up for auction shortly. Very nice condition. All original. It is numbered 2734 on the back. Antique German Porcelain Conta Boehme Boy & Girl Figurine Fairing Figures
Gorgeous Boy and Girl Figurines by Conta Boehme of Germany. Circa 1840 They both are dressed in white and pink clothing with floral accents. Conta Boehme shield mark to base and what looks like the numbers 1441 on each and a 0. They are in excellent condition the only thing I can see is a firing crack to the left side of her dress. Quite heavy and great quality pieces. Approximately 6 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide at the base. They could also use a good cleaning. I will leave that to their new owner. Ernst Bohne Sohne- EBS Rudolstadt Germany Boy& Girl Dresden Figurine Anchor You are bidding on a beautiful pair(Boy& Girl) of Rudolstadt/ Dresden figurines by Ernst Bohne Sohne. Circa 1880, that are both handpainted in pastel blue colors. The figurines are 5 1/2 inches tall and are in excellent condition. The boy is holding a canvas and painting a bird while the girl is looking over her shoulder. The markings on the boy are hard to distinguish as it looks like EBS impressed, but the girl has the EBS Blue anchor under glaze and EBS impressed(more clearly) and the number 494. These are rare examples of EBS figurines, as I have only seen the girl once before and she sold for over $160. They would make an excellent addition to any porcelain collection. You are bidding on: A GORGEOUS ANTIQUE PAIR OF TALL BISQUE PORCELAIN HAND-PAINTED STATUES FEATURING A YOUNG COUPLE IN ROYAL DRESS AND BICORNE HATS. Here's a BEAUTIFUL find from an estate purchase- I acquired these several years back. And am only just now finding it time to part with them. This pair is just. Well. stunning. No other word for it. They stand about 13.5 inches tall, big enough to make a great display statement, and the colors and paint are dreamtastic! Young man is holding a small french horn in one hand and a letter in the other; young lady appears to be reading a letter just received. Both are wonderfully outfitted in period regalia. With pastel mauves and blues and gilt/gold trim, both wearing the very fashionable bicorner European hats often seen in military parades. There are no date or manufacture stamps on these figures, ... morebut experience and research tell me they are European in origin, probably German, and most likely date to the mid to early 20th century. Both have some faint pencil marks in the recessed areas of the bottoms, looks like initials and perhaps a date but too hard to read and I have no idea if that would be the mark of the original artist or a previous owner. Please know that I am extremely tough in grading my pottery. Porcelain and glassware: I've been collecting. Selling and trading antique items for over 30 years, so I know that the only perfect piece is one that just left the factory. And even then it probably has some original-manufacture flaws. I tend to call out flaws that other sellers might not notice or conveniently overlook, so when I tell you it's right, it's right. I want everybody happy. That being said. Here's what I'd note to condition: Both figures could use some light cleaning from experienced hands. They show some age in the recesses, and there are a few little"age spots" present, notably on the female's right arm area; if you are experienced with fine antique bisque you will know what I'm referring to. This auction is for an antique figurine outfitted for winter. It is marked Made in Germany and a number and dates to circa 1900. This is a very rare piece. Seldom seen as it is what Mary Morrison calls in her book a Nubbly Snow Baby. These are also known as Bubblebabies in reference to their coats with raised dots all over. The boy figurine on skis measures 6 1/2 inches tall. Although antique, it is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or hairlines. Overall, a very nice piece, bright colors, very pretty. This figure was produced by Carl Schneider, one of the major German piano baby makers during the Victorian era. He is in good condition for age with all toes and fingers accounted for. I find no major chips or repairs that I can see. Without chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. If you haven't heard of Gerold Porcelain. It was located in Tettau,Bavaria, West-Germany. I n 1997. Gerold was sold to Lindner Porcelain, also located in Bavaria, and all old Gerold molds were destroyed. This company failed and ceased operation in 2002. Today, Gerold Porcelain is very rare and much sought after.

Antique German Porcelain Bisque Boy & Girl Swinger Dresden Piano Baby Figurine
This is a gorgeous oil lamp swinger figurine depicting two children. A boy and a girl piano baby type figures sitting on a swing. Approximately 5 inches tall and 4 inches wide. There is no manufacturers mark but it is most definitely German in origin. In great condition with just some paint rub. A repair to the boys foot and a small chip to back of swing and a red paint mark near the chip. No other chips. Cracks or restorations. His jacket is white; pants are blue; tie is in ... morepink; hat is in pale yellow with solid yellow bows and stripes as well as yellowish details on coat. Pants are decorated with gold beads and there are gold outlines on his jacket and sleeves. His shoes are in brown. Fence is in brownish tones. From another side he is all white. Figurine is standing on pedestal featuring brown soil and rocks. Looks splendid. This factory specialized in production of dolls and bisque porcelain figurines since 1891. Because of its reputable production. It became one of the few selected European facilities, which were allowed to produce Mickey Mouse figures under Disney license from 1929 onwards. Item on this auction is marked on the backside with red mark indicating production of first part of 20 th century. Other marking is incised mold number 3351 at the back of this boy. Figurine measures about 2 ½” x 1 ¼” and stands 6 ½” tall. Condition is immaculate with no cracks or chips found. Colors are bright and vibrant. Gold has no wear. It looks splendid. This auction is for a Charming Antique 1940s? Crossed Arrows Made in Japan Signed Painted Porcelain'Hummel Style' Figurine School Boy M6586. This came with a lot of Erich Stauffer Figurines with similar Crossed Arrow Marking. He apparently signed the figurines in the 1940's which is a good indication of the age. It could have been during WWII when Germany could not export to the USA. The figurines were made in Japan and are Hummel Imitations. Has black or dark gray marking on bottom crossed Arrows School Boy M6586. Near Mint Condition with only a few marks on bottom of base.
