SIZE/MEASUREMENTS: Height: 145 millimeters(5 3/4 inches) Breadth: 79 millimeters(3 1/8 inches) Thickness: 80 millimeters(3 1/4 inches) CONDITION: Very good. No repairs but the majority of glaze is gone. A little wear and a few blemishes consistent with any decorative item which was buried for over one thousand years. A very thick alkaline soil deposition layer. Not flawless, but certainly in a better than average state of preservation– and unrepaired! Stands on its own. DETAIL: A nicely preserved clay statuette so wonderfully characteristic of Tang Dynasty statuary. Sancai. Antique 19th Century MEISSEN- Je les Ramene" Porcelain Cupid Motto Figure Figurine Antique German Meissen“Je les Ramene” cupid motto figure. The heavy porcelain figurine of a cupid or putto is surrounded by and holding flowers with a quiver full of arrows. The fine hand-painted porcelain figurine has a raised oval plaque on the front with the French words“Je les Ramene” written in script. The figure is signed on the underside with the blue under-glaze crossed swords Meissen mark. The number 11 in red glaze and an impressed“F12” and“48” The Meissen figure has tiny chips to a few of the flowers and an approximate ½” crack on the pedestal that is holding flowers. There are a couple of flecks on the glaze. The color is not affected. There is some wear along her collar where the metal support rubs. This great piece is 6” tall and 5” wide. A superb pair of 19th century Meissenporcelain figurine 4 branch candlestick holders exquisitely decorated withapplied flowers with one featuring man and putto and the other featuring a lady and putto sitting on the base. Attributed to the Meissen modelerLeuteritz. These are absolutely gorgeousand have several chips(as expected for this age) to the flower petals and leaves. The figures have all fingers& toes intact there are no cracks or repairs. Both are stamped on the base with the blue crossed swords and incised with the number 84 and one is marked with a red 16. The lady is holding flowers in her hands with large puffy pink lace around her arm. Her dress is blue with pink lace down the front that goes around the back, the front is decorated with flowers& bows and the base has a gold gilt connecting circle around it. BEAUTIFUL PORCELAIN FIGURINE GERMAN FRENCH CONTINENTAL 19TH CENTURY SHEPHERDESS
This is a charming and beautiful figurine of a porcelain shepherdess figurine. Bowed crook over her left shoulder, a lavender and pink butterfly on her right arm. Many years ago I purchased her in a French antique shop but she could as easily be German. The only mark I can see is what might be an impressed number 79 on the base. Her skirt is bright and colorful. The ruffle around her apron is aqua, the fading gold is probably from handling. Small chip, almost undetected, on the left sleeve ruffle, at the back. The bottom of the crook is gone as well as the tip of her finger connected to it. Barely noticeable unless you look closely. She is nearly 7 1/2 inches tall, adorable.

Porcelain Laced Draped Figurine with Bonnet, late 19th Century
You are bidding on an elegant and very old Draped Laced Porcelain Figurine of a woman in Victorian costume with heart-shaped bonnet. Porcelain face and arms are in perfect condition. Dress and bonnet are decorated with small rose buds accented with gold. The lace was originally green and cream colored. But is dirty with age. Item is in original condition, and a doll expert may know how to best clean this figurine's lace. No marks on base to identify maker- likely French, German or English. Siamese Twins Chang& Eng 19th Century Souvenir Figurine Circus Freak History! Chang and Eng. Conjoined twins born in Siam in 1811, were"discovered" by an Englishman and became international sensations when they toured the world as young men. The term"Siamese twins" comes from them. They led a fascinating life, eventually settling for domesticity in rural North Carolina, marrying sisters, and fathering 21 children between them. By the end of the Civil War, their families needed economic help, so Chang and Eng went out on a European tour in the late 1860's. This little figurine is a souvenir of that tour. What an awesome piece of history! The figurine. Very crudely made, shows Chang and Eng as young men in loin cloths. The strange horizontal form across their chests/mid-section represents the band of cartilage that ... morejoined them. I believe the figurine is German in origin. On the base it reads, Siam Zwilling" which translates into Siamese twins. There's a mark of some kind on the back, probably just numbers, but I can't make it out. This 3 1/2 inch high figurine is flawed. But I believe all of the flaws are manufacturing flaws. First of all, the heads are rather misshapen, but they don't feel sharp or rough in any way and the paint over them appears original, so I think that is the way they came out of the mold. The figure on the left has a crack around his neck in the front, but it doesn't seem to go all the way around, so I think it may have cracked in the kiln. Similarly, the figure on the right shows a crack or space in the back where his arm meets his hip, but I believe that happened in the firing. There's a recessed area under the base of the figurine, and there's some sort of imbedded dirt in there. All the way around, the figurine shows evidence of being quickly and cheaply made and painted, but I'm sure that's because these figurines WERE quickly and cheaply made to bring in the most profit. Three figure musical scene featuring two females; one standing playing a lute. While the other is seated, reading from a musical score. The male figure, also seated, is playing the flute. Excellent condition. Colors are brilliant and clear; details are finely executed and the hand painted faces are luminous. There are lace accents on all figures with floral designs. The base is scalloped with gilding on the chairs and the base. Condition issues: Been over figurine with a jeweler's loop for any loss and have tried to diligently reflect everything in pictures.
