He's sitting on a tree stump eating with his foot. Probably a nut. He has a crest. But is not the color of a Cockatoo or Cockatiel. His build reminds me of an Amazon. Whatever he is, he's cute. I've had this for over 20 years. Bought it used. Red stamped JAPAN. Research tells me he was made sometime between the years 1945-1952. Stands 3" tall. 2" long, 1 1/4" wide.

1940 Courbette Spanische Reitschule Porcelain Horse Figurine Hofburg Wien
This is a figurine made by Augarten in the 20th century in"mint" condition. It is from the series of figures depicting different pieces depicting different positions of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna this one being called Courbette. The Courbette is what is known as a school jump. The horse jumps even distances in the levade position without touching the ground with its forelegs. Which remain raised. The modeler had to assemble 68 separate parts to make this figure. The rider is wearing his parade uniforn. Which includes a red tailcoat with the golden epaulettes and borders. The horse's bridle is black with gold trim and the mane is also decorated with gilded tassels. This is a Wonderful Fine Porcelain Bisque Figurine of a Man 17th-18th century style with open flower at side. Figurine measures 7 3/4" in height- base 3 5/8" and open flower 1 1/2" He is wearing a mauve jacket with pale blue britches and white stockings with Gold Gild shoes. Not marked but indicative of Bisque made in Germany. When I purchased this it had been glued at one time towards the bottom of the statue. Very hard to see- but shows up on the picture do to the glue shining in the light- very slight- excellent repair. Otherwise in good condition and a very nice figurine. This gorgeous antique Italian porcelain figurine stands about 18" tall. This is an original piece and I had it appraised via an internet appraiser who estimated its worth up to 500.00. He said that it was imported from Italy about 1920's. The importer"KB" commissioned several Italian studios to produce for them. So it couldn't be traced to an exact studio or artist. But the artist signed the bottom which looks like an"L" in cursive above the word"Italy" It is#608 out of 1496 pieces made. It is absolutely stunning. It is in mint condition. Kiev Art Factory Porcelain Post 1940 Ukrainian Boy and Girl Dancer Figurine set
The Ukrainian boy and girl porcelain figurine set are from the USSR. Research shows these were produced at the Kiev Experimental Ceramic Art Factory in the town of Cherry Kiev region. Which opened in 1924. After World War II, the factory added to the lithographic area to produce high quality porcelain samples for other plants in the Ukraine. In July 1993, an open joint stock company- OAO"Deff" took over, and in 1999, the plant became known as"Kiev porcelain" Since 2006, the plant ceased all production of products. The figurines are beautifully rendered, and in great condition. These make an excellent gift, and a perfect item for collectors. Each figure is about 4 1/2" tall, Each is separately posed. Up for bid is a Rare Vintage/Antique Porcelain Little Red Riding Hood. Hand Painted& Signed Figurine/Vase by Lamar of California. This is an absolutely beautiful vintage figurine of one of our most beloved fairy tale characters. She is holding what looks like a basket in one hand. And this has an opening in it that allows you to use this piece as a vase or a treasure holder. She has a lovely red cape on and is holding some flowers that she picked along the way. She is wearing an empire waist white dress with a turquoise top and red trim matching her cloak. Her facial features are gorgeous. The artistry of Lamar is stunning. This piece is from the early 1940s. At that time, Lamar was well known for his creation of porcelain figures that represented popular nursery rhymes and fairy tales. Not many of these pieces have managed to survive ... morethrough the years, but this one has, and is actually in good condition. The pictures show you the minor damage, the tip of her cloak hood and the very front of the hood have tiny chips or places where the paint has flaked off. Also along the rim of the basket. There is one chip on the edge of the bottom that doesn't show until you turn it over. There is also some crazing in the white part of the piece. She still looks bright and amazing. Early 1900s ceramic/fayence figurine of a lady seated on a bench. Dressed in a ball gown and fan, hair done a la Marie Antoinette. Beautifully hand painted with very fine details and gilding. The stole or lace around bodice is done in crinoline that has been glazed. Head and left ankle were broken off and restored. Also a few chips under rim of base. According to dealer, it's an antique from Venice. Height- 6 1/4 inches. Underneath is hand-penned very finely in red ink an anchor marking. This is obviously not the real Chelsea Red Anchor mark of the 18th century or a similar mark for the Cozzi factory in Venice, 1764-1812, but later. According to an appraisal recently done. This was produced in Japan during the time of WWll. They were sold in Military Base Exchanges, and a lot of service men sent them home to their wives and mothers. It probably had a little sticker on it at one time that said"Made in Japan. They have a lot of sentimental value to the people who received them, and my grandmother kept it near her bedside for more than 40 years. Approximately 3 1/2" tall. No cracks or scrapes. Notice the pretty flower on the inside back top of the vase. And the accents of gilt add to their beauty. The paint and finish is in very good condition. The only flaw that I didn't notice until I inspected them the 3rd time, is the center leaf on the top/back of the Boy vase has the very top of it missing. Price reflects the flaw. These lovely vaces came from an estate sale and were manufactured in Japan. They are artistically molded in detail. With the 3 dimensional flowers. This beautiful hand painted parrot was purchased over 20 years ago at the Paris flea markets while on vacation in France. It stands 9" tall and is 5.75" at widest point. Hand painted in colors of deep to light pinks with accents of black. Mint greens and browns. Free of chips cracks or repairs this is a gorgeous piece. Though unmarked I would guess this piece to be from Germany/Austria because of the soft satin glaze typical of early German and Austrian porcelain. I would also date this piece from 1900-1040s. This is a beautiful vintage or antique clay sculpture of Leda and the Swan by Pacheco. It was purchased from a French antique store in California. It has a lovely amethyst purple base with a cream white figure and teal accents from the swan. It measures approximately 26 inches long by 8 inches wide and 11 inches tall. A small chip in one corner was there when I purchased it. It's quite a heavy. Solid piece. The artist name Pacheco is inscribed into the top of the base. It's a positively exquisite piece and needs to find a good forever home. I've never had the space to properly display and appreciate it. Free shipping only applies to the continental US. This is a very cute German bisque bust half doll boy figurine. I had a few old Rudolstadt bisque figurines and this one. Not marked, looks very similar to the ones I had and one that I currently own. The outfit looks to be a pale blue with gold trim. It looks like the boy is holding a letter. The fingers on his right hand are all there, they are just curled under. Sweet looking little boy with a darling outfit. Figurine weighs 1 lb. and 12 oz. Nice for the collector. Condition: Half of the left hand middle finger is chipped off. Welcome to Mama Jo's House of Dolls! Vintage 4 inch Dresden Lace Ballerina. Sandizell This German 4" lace ballerina with a crowned N over"Dresden" is a mark used by the Sandizell porcelain factory in Bavaria owned by Hoffner& Co who started in 1951. She's from the 1960s or 70s. Her lace and flowers are perfect. No breaks or chips. Her flashy gold slippers match the gold trim on her pedestal. There are some very light age stains on her lace that I'm told can be easily, carefully removed. I'll leave that to someone with more experience. She has blonde hair, blue eyes, and a delicately hand-painted face. There are varying degrees of shading and condition on all of the ballerinas I have listed. Please view the photographs carefully. For decades, my grandmother had a collection of 10 beautiful Dresden lace ballerinas ... morein a shadowbox by her front door, instantly conjuring up a Degas painting and another era. They've all been carefully cleaned and restored to their former dust-free glory.

Beautiful figurine of little girl feeding geese. Light blue and white Height: 6.25" Width: 3" Length: 4.5" Stamped with Model Number: 5245. Made in Tattau. Bavaria, West Germany. According to the stamp. And one website, it looks like this piece was made in 1949. Gerold Porzzelan was founded in 1904 and closed in 1997.

German Schaubach Kunst Porcelain Lady Ballet Figurine Figure Dresden Post 1940
This is a good size figurine from the Schaubach Kunst of Germany Factory. Figurine appears to be a ballerina tying her gold ballet shoes. She is sitting down on a bench. The makers mark is on the bottom of the base. Nice figurine for the collector. Condition: The only thing I could see wrong on the figurine is a small firing crack on the bottom of the base. Towards the front. Otherwise in good condition for the age. All fingers are intact and I don't see any repairs. Measurements: 7 1/4 inches length. 8 inches height and 6 inches width.
