Vintage Lady & Man Porcelain Figurine 13" tall - Marked AA - Dresden Germany
My apologies to those that were watching and bidding on this figurine previously. I found a flaw and had to end the auction and relist. This auction is for a vintage porcelain figurine of a lady& gentleman. Measures just shy of 13" tall by 9.5" long by about 5" deep. Marked as shown with an"AA" and a stylized sun. Not sure who the maker is. But judging by the quality, it is likely German. There is a ton of detail on this one. Lots of ruffles, ribbons, flowers, and bows. There is one flaw. If you look at her left arm, there is a bt of ribbon draping over it. I was informed that there is supposed to be a ribbon hanging over her arm and down the front of her dress. This also explains the area on the front of her dress that appears wasn't colored during the glazing process. The bit of ribbon over her arm blends ... morein with her arm and initially I thought she was wearing a glove. You do not see the broken edges unless you flip it upside down. The missing ribbon doesn't seriously detract from the piece. I think it is still quite lovely and I am relisting it as is. I do not see any other cracks chips or repairs. Large Antique German Figurine Woman With Letter Bisque 13"
I am selling an exceptional figure of a woman holding a letter. She is over 13" tall and weighs over 4 pounds. I assume she is German based upon the quality of the piece. There is one mark on the underside which is applied in blue porcelain( part of which is missing but I think it has the letters P and B on it. It is finely decorated as detailed in my photos. I do not see any damage to note. She is exquisite.

Green Vintage Early Borghese chalkware Statues European style figurine Pr. 13"
On offer is a striking pair of Vintage Borghese statues. The woman appears to be selling fruit;carrying a basketful. While the man is offering a fish in his hand. They are incredibly detailed and have an unusually attractive appearance as you can see when you examine the high definition photos. As with other very old chalkware statues. There is some damage to be seen. The man is relatively unscathed with a small chip on the top of his hat and a small spot off his jacket at the upper back. The woman has a chip from her hat, and on the base,to the right of her feet and damage to one wrist and all fingers. They both have some tan spots on the faces that is faint and look to me like aging that now looks like faint freckles.They are blue-eyed and have blonde hair. I have not seen that hair and eye color combination in other Borghese matched statues ... morethat are currently available. There are later Borghese available that do not have such fine detail as these. Their faces have a life-like appearance and so do their costumes. Which are richly colored. The Borghese statues were made by Niepold's,Inc. in Gathersberg Maryland,which operated from the early 1900's until around 1970. The oldest statues were made to be affordable competition for expensive European statuary. These statues both have old Borghese original paper labels on the bottom. Because chalkware is plaster of sorts, there is almost always some damage on the truly old pieces. The clothing style of these appear to be European,perhaps French. Since the look is purposely distressed, repairs could be done by a talented person and would not look out of place. The quality is unmistakeable. Please examine all photos as they are high definition and show the superb detailing as well as the expected aging.They are both 13" high and rather heavy,but the shipping charge includes insurance and tracking.

Two small cracks in the lower bottom area, one on the side the other around her left foot. She so still lovely. All fragile items are wrapped and shipped with care. Capodimonte Crane Cranes Figurine Statue Italian White w Gold Accents 13.5"H
Exquisite example of a Capodimonte Double Cranes Figurine in White Porcelain with Gold Accents. The piece is beautiful and in remarkable condition but. In the interest of full disclosure we must mention that there are a few small manufacturing process blemishes. We have attempted to detail them all with pictures and now with this description. The blemishes include a pen tip sized dot on the female cranes chest. There are two white lines inside the perimeter of appears to have been solid area of gold under the male cranes bill[beak] buy I am unsure if they were there during the making of the figurine or, if the piece obtained them at a later time. Directly under and to the left of the females bill on her back is tiny area of missing glaze. There are a couple other dots/ bumps/ rough feelng areas as detailed in the closer up pictures. The felt ... morethat my grandmother glued to the bottom edge of the statue is coming off and one section is missing. Please view the pictures. The final few close up pictures show the areas of manufacturing defects. Yes, we are nit-picky to a fault but, we want potential buyers to know every detail about and see exactly what they are buying without any surprises. None of the identified blemishes take away from the overall beauty of this 13.5 inch tall by about 6 inch diameter, obviously extremely well cared for figurine. In the last close-up, there is no issue or blemish(it's just glare/reflection in his bill/beak) I just think it is a nice shot of the handsome crane. Thanks for viewing and have a great one!
