Up for your consideration is a beautiful Antique fine bisque porcelain figurine depicting a young Victorian women in a flowing dress with a hand fan! Figurine shows amazing detail and craftsmanship throughout! Figurine is hand painted and adorned with gold gilt accents! Piece is in excellent original condition with no chips. Breaks, cracks or repairs(please refer to photos) Colors remain bright and vibrant! Sculpture weighs roughly 12 OZ and measures 11 1/2 Inches X 3 1/2 Inches X 3 Inches. There is a makers mark on the bottom back(photo 10) but it is very faint and I am unable to decipher. There is also a hand written#5 within the base of the piece. Antique Continental Porcelain Man Figurine in Colonial Dress.
This auction is for a continental porcelain figurine of a colonial dressed man. The man's dress is decorated with blue floral designs with partially lost golden accents. The figurine stands approximately 7" tall and is 4.5" X 3.5" at the base. The condition of the figurine is very good considering its age. Outside of the few small black dots. A crack on the bottom of the base and some losses of the golden paint there are no other defects that I could identify. There is a stamp on the base right above the crack, but the maker is unknown to me. The crack on the base is most likely a result of a manufacturing defect and the age of the figurine. Porcelain Figurine Dresden Porcelain Dancing Woman Figurine in Pink Lace Dress. Antique 1910-20 Description: This piece of porcelain art is a 3 inch high porcelain figurine of a woman dancing. As determined from its unique styling. The stamp and markings, and from the delicacy and precision of craftsmanship it was manufactured in one of the early 1900's porcelain houses in the Dresden Region of Germany. Dresden is not a manufacturer, but a style from a particular region. This delicate and beautiful antique porcelain painted figure is therefore referred to as a Dresden Figurine. Nearly one hundred years old, this fragile figurine has fared incredibly well. Understanding that condition ... moreis subjective, I will attempt to fairly and accurately describe the characteristics and condition of this fragile and precious piece of historic art. With one elbow bent. And her hand on her waist, she poses with her right arm outstretched with her wrist gracefully bent. Her dancing attire features a fully gathered three-tiered pink lace skirt. In the Dresden figurine style, her skirt is adorned with two yellow flowers, as is her white short-sleeved top. Her hair and facial features are painted delicately soft and lush. The glisten of the glaze draws one’s eye toward her beautiful face. The dancing figure stands on a one and one-quarter inch round base. The base is highlighted with gold details, as are her ballerina flats. The porcelain house markings on this piece are printed in grey under the glaze. A three section domed crown is above the letters H U S. Under the letters is a line that resembles a bird in flight. Germany“ and two small indistinguishable marks are below the other symbols. This is a sweet little antique porcelain girl in Victorian clothing. Work looks German. Especially the face. She has ripped a hole in her dress and is holding it up to look through it. She has also managed to lose the elastic in her pantaloons which are bunched up over her shoes. Her over dress is in cream and the under skirt is in a dusty rose as is the bow in her hair. She measures 5 7/8 inches. The back of the piece is white, with the exception of her light brown hair. It is not marked. In very nice condition. This is a really lovely old porcelain figurine. She's 5" tall. Sitting in a chair, she's wearing a white bonnet with blue bow, her dress is blue and white with gold trim. Her fan is gold trimmed as well. Beautifully painted face and in very good condition with no chips or cracks. She's marked on the bottom with what looks like a 57 but it could be an artist's signature as well. So much prettier in person. Shipping may be less. In which case I always refund the difference. Fantastic vintage German Bisque Figurine/spill vase! This woman is sitting. Wearing a lovely pink dress with small gold/white beads and has a cute bow in her hair. She is in good vintage condition, there are some marks and some wear to gold details. The bottom of the opening is discolored. The back and side have a yellow tint, I'm guessing that is original. Gorgeous hand painted detail just as you would expect a Vintage German Bisque piece to have! She is 4 inches tall. Beautiful old porcelain Dresden-style figurine. The lovely lady is dressed in yellow and is holding a flower bouquet. She has a wonderful hand-painted face. Measuring 4 1/4" tall.
