Pair of Impeccable Dahl Jensen Copenhagen Porcelain Figurines; Exquisite Detail. One of the best porcelain artists in Europe. Jens Peter Dahl Jensen began as lead designer for Bing and Grondahl before opening his own manufacturing facility in 1925. His work is known the world over for it's consumate attention to detail, and continues to be appreciated by those select few lucky enough to come across one of his outstanding creations. The glaze on these two figures is simply ethereal with it's milky white glow, and demonstrates the artistic integrity that went into these fine pieces from Denmark. Every one of his molds and all of the remaining inventory was destroyed in 1985 when the factory closed it's doors for good, thus making the few remaining pieces available for sale worldwide etremely rare and valuable.
