Beautiful Austrian Porcelain Bust of Victorian Woman - Possibly Early Royal Dux
Up for bid is a lovely. Softly colored, beautifully detailed porcelain bust of a period woman. It is Austrian and several marks including blue crown in which there's an"EW" over a"Euro Wein" underneath crown is"Made in Austria" It is also embossed with 4865 and a 7. Written in brown under glaze is 139 and an E(could also be a 6) The coloring is very feminine and muted and the piece has the look and feel of Royal Dux- it is NOT being sold as Royal Dux, however. Greens, gold detail, creamy white skin, soft brown hair along with attention to molding detail. Look at all the folding in the clothing, the well modeled hair, and the detail on the clothing bows. All make for a high quality piece of porcelain. It looks perfect but on close inspection, you can see that it's not. The head was cleanly broken off at ... moresome point and has been cleanly reattached. You can see this in the picture. Unless you're on top of it, it's hard to detect yet it is clearly visible when you're up close looking for it. Other than this, it is in perfect condition- chips, cracks, flakes or color issues anywhere else on the piece. It would be an excellent candidate for professional restoration if you want a beautiful, perfect piece. It stands approximately 12" tall and is 7" wide at its widest points, approximately 3" deep. It is a lovely example of high quality Austrian porcelain work and would add nicely to any porcelain. Doll, Royal Dux, or figurine collection. It would also sit gracefully on a victorian candle stand, fireplace mantel, or in a period curio. Careful packing is assured; shipping is $20. Insurance included. 1850-1899 Austrian Porcelain Cornucopia Statue
Austrian Porcelain Figure of a Female Classical Figure. Wearing a draped tunic and holding aloft a cornucopia of flowers. THREE printed marks in blue. The figure is Austrian and certainly from the latter years of the 19th century as she is a little art nouveau in style. Figures of this nature became very popular in the 1980's and'90's and prices rose dramatically. She is in great condition and is quite attractive. 13.5inches. 5.5inches.

RSTK Teplitz Austrian Village Blacksmith Porcelain Pottery Bust 11"
Here is a an old pottery bust that has the markings for the RSTK Teplitz company. Which I believe is Austrian. This is a village blacksmith and the mold number on the back is 1510. The base has two chips that I see, one is rather large and then a smaller one in the front. Overall still displays well and has very life like details. Very high quality piece, he measures approx. 11" tall. Neat piece, fresh out of a Chicago estate.

Antique 19C Austrian Teplitz Art Nouveau Porcelain Bust of A Pretty Maiden Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This listing is for an Austrian Teplitz bust of a pretty maiden. The bust measures 9" high and is mounted on a thin wood base. On the base it measures 10 1/4 high. The pretty maiden is dressed in a belle epoque style with large fancy feathered hat with puffy ruffled sleeves. At her bust line is a large ribbon which rests on the base of the bust. The bottom of the bust is decorated with raised petals. Her face is very pretty and typical of the Teplitz Art Nouveau busts. The sculpture is in very good condition with the exception of a tiny tip of the fringe of her bang has a chip and three of the raised petals on the base have chips on the ends. Please see photographs for more and look and condition of this pretty Teplitz ... morebust. At the back of the wooden base is a hole in the wood as it was probably going to be made into a lamp.
