Antique Precious Art Deco Half Doll Pincushion Well Marked Porcelain Germany
From a large collection of Half Doll lovelies is this darling. Expressive Art Deco style pin cushion, looking something like Snow White with the high yellow collar. She is tiny, only about 4" all together. She wears a gray, organza type skirt trimmed in tan lace, all this over a lace trimmed pink underskirt base with a tan bottom. She is wearing some sewing pins in her skirt. She is very tightly attached to her skirt, but I can make out impressed numbers and what looks like additional marks under the glaze and possibly a date. 1920 GERMAN BISQUE ART DECO FIGURINE STATUE MARKED GERMANY NUMBERED MINT
This is an authentic 1920 large German Bisque Art Deco Figurine. This beautiful statue was made right on the edge in the 1920's the dresses became very short. And large hats were not in style. The war ended in 1918 and Germany was not making figurines during the War. The export rules also changed in 1921 where all exports had to say what country they were made in so after 1921 it would have had to say Made in Germany. So under those deductions this piece was made somewhere in that small window of 1919-1921. The figure as marked is hand painted, and it is numbered. It is tall as shown abut 12" and is in mint condition as so far as no chips or cracks what so ever however as most glazes that old has crazing as you can see in the photo. This is an amazing work of art that will display very nicely.

Please read this description it is very important: this is a smaller figurine. Approximately 3 1/2 inches tall. I examined this piece thoroughly and it looks very nice except one tiny chip along the bottom where the cat sits on the table. I show this by pointing at it with a pen so please look at the pictures carefully. It is so small that I almost didn't see it. I have a suspicion that it could have been a factory flaw but I am unsure. That is the only flaw on this little kitten. As you would suspect it is top quality like Rosenthal always makes. Vintage Germany Goldscheider Katzhutte Style Art Deco Lady Figurine- 1865 Estate Find. Wonderful Art Deco Lady glossy ceramic figurine features a graceful white haired lady who appears to be dancing; she wears a sleek blue gown ruffled at bottom and a rose colored cape that has a colorful floral design across the bottom. Bottom of figurine is stamped Germany in black ink. In addition. There is an inscribed number 1865 as well as a small number which looks to be an 81. Style& design resembles a Goldscheider or Katzhutte Hertwig Germany lady figurine. Measures approx. 2 1/8” long x 3 1/2” wide(at bottom base; 6” wide across spread arms) x 8 1/4” tall. Very Good Clean Condition– I do notice one flaw when looking closely at this figurine and that is a tiny paint chip or fleabite on the side of her nose under the bridge(too small to pictue) ... moredepending on the angle& distance. You may not even see this flaw or it may appear to be a ridge in the porcelain. Otherwise, no chips, cracks, crazing, or fleabites. Antique Sitzendorf Pierrette Harlequin Clown Figurine Pin Dish Porcelain Trinket This auction is for a Sitzendorf Pierrette Harlequin Pin Dish. Made of porcelain. Sometimes they are considered to be pipe rests. Powder puff or trinket dishes, regardless this is the p erfect vintage vanity accessory! I have been unable to find another in this color. Some blue or yellow, but none in this orangish-brown color with black accents. It has art deco styling. It has the manufacturer's incised Sitzendorf crown on the bottom with the number 24406, and a vent hole at the back of her hair. It measures approx. 4-3/4” long x 3-1/8" across, depth is shallow(about 1/2” It is 2-1/2” high at her hat and 1-3/4” high at her knees. A beautiful vintage piece. Wonderful for your collection! Just look at her lovely facial features! Condition- There are some ... moremanufacturing defects- one at her right shoulder sleeve(see pic) and on one of the“legs” of her bell costume. There are a few painting defects- at her shoe toe tips is no paint(these are not chips) and at her hat brim. There is also glaze wearing on the black pompoms. If there are chips. I cannot feel them, there are no cracks. I received this from my grandmother, she was born in 1903. I have no idea of the age of this piece, only that it is original and I have owned it for 40 years, and when I was a child, I thought it was an ashtray. The fine print. This is a lovely Art Deco seated lady figurine by Dressel Kister of Germany. She is wearing a beautiful floral print dress and her arms are raised and resting behind her head Approximately 3 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches wide at widest point. Marked on bottom with the blue Dressel Kister stamp. And there are numbers incised in the porcelain, they are hard to read but I think it says 5599. She is in excellent condition with just a hairline crack to the bottom of the base and someone put glue across the crack for some reason. But the integrity of the piece is not affected by the crack. And a blue cotton material on the exterior. The overall approximate measurement is 6.5" tall and 3.5" wide at the base of pin cousin. The condition is excellent no chip or cracks. Here is a stunning and rare Art Deco 1920's Flapper Lady"half doll" figurine pin cushion from San Francisco Estate. Made in Germany. Circa 1920's. She is exquisite! This beautiful deco lady has red lips. Dark eyes with lavender eye shadow, and is wearing a green 1920's flapper hat with dark red dangle earrings. She is also wearing a green and lavender blouse with dark red ribbon. Her head is tilted to one side, she has one hand on her shoulder, and the other hand on the front of her blouse. She is attached to a pinkish lavender colored pin cushion with an olive green and white net overlay which is beaded with flowers and stick pins. She is made of porcelain, and the pin cushion is made of silk material over straw. The overall measurement is 6-1/2" wide and 5-1/2" tall. There are no signatures or manufacture ... moremarks that we could find, but we were told that she is from Germany, and is probably marked on the bottom which is covered by the pin cushion. The condition is amazingly very good- shows wear(especially the pin cushion under her skirt- see picture) There are no chips, breaks, or repairs. The estimated value was $125.00 according to the estate. Our reserve is only $49.00. This fabulous deco lady came from an estate in San Francisco, and is vintage. She has a great look- very elegant and unique. Pictures don't do her justice. She is truly a quality piece, and would make a wonderful addition to someone's collection or home. Buyer pays shipping. For sale is a very fine modelled German Art Deco porcelain pin/ half doll produced by the famous maker Dressel& Kister in Passau/ Germany in 1930's. It measures 7cm high and bears the Dressel& Kister marks. This figurine is in lovely condition for its age- the only blemish is a hairline crack as can be seen in the pictures- this has not been restored. It is a crack on the surface of the porcelain which does not go all the way through. The pictures will hopefully show all the details you would like to see.
