It depicts a little boy with a bowl in his lap. Spoon in his right hand, and a bib. This was hand painted on the front. The back was not painted as was the custom at the time. This comes from a Pennsylvania estate that we purchased and have more going up for auction shortly. Very nice condition. All original. It is numbered 2734 on the back. This auction is for an antique Victorian bisque girl figure. Meant to hang as a decoration on a hanging oil lamp. She measures about 5" tall. The boy is being sold in a separate auction. While the boy shows an old repair, I don't see anything wrong with the girl figurine itself. The right side of the swing has a small crack on the top surface. It doesn't extend all the way through to the bottom but could be a weak spot. There is a blue number 23 on the bottom of the swing. She has a cute expression and bright color. This is one of several antique and extreme vintage smalls and miniatures that we bought this week at an estate sale. All of them were displayed in a large shadow box and they looked great. Take a look at them all and if.or when.you find more than one you love. I'll happily combine shipping. This is a lot of three Victorian Era bisque porcelain figurines of children in sitting positions. Two of them are shelf or edge sitters. These looked great in the above mentioned shadow box because they were at the front of the box instead of resting on the back. It gave a great dimension to the box. The first in the picture is a group of five children sitting close together. They are shelf sitters and their legs dangle ... moreof the edge. There is either a chip or mold mark near the hole on the bottom. It is not visable when the item is being displayed. Next is a little girl dressed in blue and white. She too is a shelf setter who dangles over the edge. She has minor paint loss on the tips of her shoes(they are not chips) Last is a small child wearing a red cap and matching shoes. This one is not an edge sitter. It is the tallest of the three. Standing 1 5/8 inches tall. None of the figurines have any markings.

Up for your consideration is a beautiful Antique fine bisque porcelain figurine depicting a young Victorian women in a flowing dress with a hand fan! Figurine shows amazing detail and craftsmanship throughout! Figurine is hand painted and adorned with gold gilt accents! Piece is in excellent original condition with no chips. Breaks, cracks or repairs(please refer to photos) Colors remain bright and vibrant! Sculpture weighs roughly 12 OZ and measures 11 1/2 Inches X 3 1/2 Inches X 3 Inches. 9" tall bisque girl with her dolly. She is in good condition. With a couple of minor issues. The lower part of her left hand is chipped(but this is not very noticeable unless you hold her upside down) and there is a rough spot on the underside of the base(which may also be a chip) A little of the gold paint has worn off, mainly on the bow of her nightcap. Besides this, she displays well, with no other chips or cracks. The only mark is"54" on the bottom.

This is a wonderful bisque figural toothpick holder. We think it is fairing, a Victorian boy holding a top hat with a rabbit coming out of the top hat. Beside him is a large egg with flowers on the front. The egg would serve as a toothpick holder. It measures approx. 3" tall x 3 1/4" Marked 5561 1 underneath. There is some bubbling at the rim of the egg, like glaze residure, but such a cool piece. We found the following about fairings on Wikipedia: Victorian china fairings are small porcelain ornaments. An amazing Conta& Boehme figural planter. Measuring approx. 9 inches in width, and 6 1/2 inches in height. The paint and gold detailing still remain in fabulous condition. I find no breaks or cracks. Inside the little yellow holder to the far right, I feel a rough spot inside, but the flower is unharmed, so I assume it's in the original making. Since its so detailed, I've made sure to look it over very carefully, as not to miss any damage. These girls are however in need of a bath. Marked the conta shield, and Germany. Actual date is unknown believed to be of German origin. The boy is standing on a porcelain pedestal painted to look like marble. Ornate design painted on his clothing. Antique Victorian VOLKSTEDT LADY PUTTI Porcelain Plaque 19c German Bisque Figure This amazing high relief bisque plaque is attributed to Volkstedt German. Circa late 19th century. And features a classical maiden and her resting child. Made as part of a four seasons series. This one appears to be"A utumn" and has the mother and her child resting atop bales of hay. Excellent quality and attention to detail. One of the nicest plaques I have had the pleasure of listing. Approx. measurements of the plaque is 10 3/4" in diameter and approx. 2 1/2" deep. Excellent condition with minor age appropriate wear. The only thing I see that may be wrong, is the piec e she is holding in her hand. Is bit rough on bottom. From the photo of a similar one sold at Christie's(see note below) it looks like she is supposed to be holding a ... moresickle in her hand. It is not something you would not even notice unless you were looking at both plaques at same time. No other chips cracks or repairs. Colors are a bit brighter in photos than they are on actual plaque. Although unmarked. The plaque is definitely of German origin and most likely Volstedt. Here is a really nice old porcelain bisque figurine- nicely detailed. In great condition- no chips. No cracks, no repairs- needs minor cleaning if desired. This is marked four times- on backside it is incised 9027 and Germany- on bottom it is stamped Germany and on the inside the number 27 is incised. Stands just 2 3/8 inches tall- unusual to find the old German bisque quite this little- very nice. Any questions or for more pictures please email me. Antique Bisque Spill Vase I do not have an EXACT maker but after doing MONTHS of research I have found several pieces that are nearly identical to this with the same markings on the bottom(except the 4 numbers under the arrows were different of course) The detailing that runs up the leg of the boy is nearly IDENTICAL to a pair of figurines done by LaCourtillo or Rue Fontaine-au-Roy Paris. France. Either way it is spectacular! It is a bud vase with 2 figures of children. One on a swing. There used to be a string that is now gone but can easily be replaced(you don't even notice that it's gone however) The colors are VERY VIBRANT and all the little details are still in tact(like the rose petals. WELCOME to my ebay store! This is a beautiful and solid little figurine of bisque type porcelain. A little girl in hat. Dress and apron carries a very large basket on her bag which she holds by a rope handle around her neck. She stands on a base that is unmarked. I am guessing it is German made. And probably a spill vase. Some of the pieces from this estate collection I acquired are marked with numbers, or marked Foreign, or not marked at all, as this one. From about the beginning of the 20th century, both the US and UK required more details of origin than'foreign' on imported china items. They wanted the actual country, written in the Queens English(in the US, the act was called the 1890 The McKinley Tariff Bill, and in the UK it was the 1897 British Merchandise Marks Act) So it looks like this piece pre-dates the UK act of 1897 ... morebecause they do not conform to the legislation. It is unmarked. It did come from a UK antiques estate collection of porcelain, see my other listings, they vary a lot in periods of make. Judging by style of the piece and face painting, I am guessing that it, like most of the collection, is German. Other than dirt, I see signs of damage to the figure or the base. Rare Antique Victorian German Bisque Naughty Lady Man Fairing Figurine Figure
For auction is a rare to find German bisque figural fairing group of two women and a gentleman hiding under the ones hoop skirt! I have not seen this piece before and believe it to be quite rare. It was from the same collector as a very rare fairing I just listed as well. Dates mid to late 1800s and appears to be in very good condition with some light wear and the lady in blue I believe had an umbrella at one time as there is a hole in her one hand. The ends of the ribbons on her bonnet have broken on the ends and there metal under the skirt has wear. These are minor in my opinion considering the age and rarity of this piece. This is a beautiful pair of 16" tall antique Continental and most likely French figurines of a well dressed couple from the late 19th century. Quality and detail is exquisite. Very lifelike expressions on faces and raised intricate beading and decoration details throughout their elaborate dress from head to toe. Not being able to locate a mark at all would date them to earlier than 1892. They do resemble the work of VION& BAURY of Paris especially with the detail on the bases with the very sharp maroon design of C scrolls. She is missing two fingers on one right hand and on the other is good.PLEASE LOOK PICTURES NUMBER 13.Amazingly enough, these don't jump out as missing due to the positioning of her hands.The man also looks to have possibly been holding something else in addition to the bowl he is holding. I have for your consideration this Bisque/porcelain german girl figurine in one hand holding a fan and the other holding a handkerchief. she has beautiful soft colors of yellow. Purple, pink and blue to name a few. she stands 10-5/8 inches tall and need a gentle cleaning of light dirt/dust that has settled on her throughout the years. she was acquired from a old German home in Buffalo with other antiques I have listed. the underside inner base has a slight separation in the mold as I would assume done in the manufacturing process and is hardly unnoticeable as shown in picture. there is a initial RBF with the date 1845 on the underside. this is a very old piece and in very good condition and well kept through out the years any questions please feel free to email me. I will ship this piece by herself well wrapped with insurance.
