Finish is original and nice but there are 2 small cigarette burns on opposite sides of the table top and some minor finish wear to the top. Burns are not deep. This is a different style from the usual round Acclaim table by Lane. The top is formed by pie-shaped wedges of walnut veneer with a nice medallion in the middle; the sides are thicker; and the crosspieces on the legs meet in the middle instead of going along the sides. The serial# is 267210. Which is the date it was made, backwards. That means it was made Jan. 27, 1962. It's in pristine, newly refinished condition. 37.5" Across, 14.5" Tall. MID CENTURY MODERN REGENCY LANE FRENCH FLEUR DE LIS STONE TOP TABLE NIGHTSTAND
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Rare design, Mid Century side table or nightstand. The table was manufactured by the Lane Furniture Company and dates(according to the serial number) to 1969. The table features French styling with a clover leaf top and raised, three section fleur de lis pattern. The table has curved, triangular stepped base. The three table legs are substantially thick and scrolled. The scrolled design is raised on the outer borders for interest. The lavishly designed table top is a very heavy composite, faux stone. It has a rough, stone texture with the fleur de lis patterns smoothed and slightly raised from the roughly textured sections. The table top border is also smooth and somewhat raised. The clover leaf design is repeated on the inner corners of the border. The pattern is in a brown, polished stone design with ... morebeautiful, subtle gold flecks. The table is painted in white, slightly distressed, with gold glazing on the legs and upper base borders. The gold glaze has been white washed in areas giving depth to the finish. This is a beautiful table. It is in very good condition with only minor signs of age/use. There are a few, very light surface scratches on the top which have been highlighted with the white washed finish. The white has been allowed to rest in these tiny areas which adds to the aged character of the slightly distressed finish. The table is very elegant and has a low profile. IT IS EXTREMELY HEAVY. It is structurally quite nice sturdy. The listing is for one table, but we do have a matching, identical, second table which is available if you would like a pair. Fabulous vintage condition solid walnut Lane coffee table. 50" long x 19" wide x 15" tall x 1 1/4" thick top. This is from the era when they made fine quality furniture from real American wood! All joints are solid with no wiggle or wobble. Top surface color and patina is terrific. The legs have a very few light scuff marks. One corner has wear as seen in the 10th photo. No cracks.
