Rare Pair of Antique German KPM Porcelain Girl & Boy Sleigh Dresden Figurine
This is a gorgeous pair of large handpainted porcelain figural KPM sleighs! A boy and girl dressed in Royal clothing and both sleighs covered in apprlied porcelain flowers. Beautiful! They are heavy weighted porcelain and each measure approximately 8 inches high by 10 inches wide. Both have some chipping to the applied flowers and leaves and on the boy's sleigh. It looks like there is some yellowing and wear to the paint/glaze. Not readily noticed on display unless you are looking. Overall a gorgeous Victorian pair for the collector! ~ Antique German Figurine ~ This is a very lovely handpainted German porcelain figure with fine modeling. Superb coloring, and exquisite porcelain applied flowers. A beautiful maiden sits atop two decorative tasseled pillows, and she is helping Cupid as he is struggling to climb up next to her. Cupid's bow and arrows are on the ground at their feet, and the woman holds one golden arrow in her hand. The figure is a nice large size measuring 8 1/2" tall by 7" wide. And it is in excellent condition aside from arrow has tip chip and a few tiny nicks to flower petals/leaves, very minor. This is a beautiful half doll related ballerina dancer figurine made in Germany. Her arms are raised in a dance pose. The skirt of her dress is white with blue and gold gilt flowers and her bodice is painted in gold gilt. Approximately 4 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide. You often see the same piano-baby poses over and over. But I don't believe I have seen this one b4. She is in a sitting position with her knees up. Each arm and hand is extended.making her very susceptible to damage, but she is not damaged nor repaired. She has short blonde, tosseled hair and marvelous detailed facial features. Her nighty or dress is white with pink highlights. Notice her delicate hands and extended fingers.in undamaged condition. She measures: 4-1/2" tall x 3-1/2" deep x 2-1/2" wide. CONDITION: This piano baby is in very nice condition. There are no cracks and no chips in this piece.no flea bites or nicks. In photo#6 you will see a lightly penciled"X" on one leg.I have not tried to remove this.I'll let you do that. She comes to you in"as found" condition.I have not attempted to clean her.she has some mild soiling from years and years of play. There are years of charm and appeal still left in her. Antique Stamped German Conta Boehme? Porcelain Bisque Girl Piano Baby Figurine
~ Antique German Piano Baby ~ Marked"Germany" on base with symbol that resembles a shield This is a large antique German bisque piano baby figurine that is from a deceased relative's China cabinet from the New Orleans area. I am not an expert on all the manufacturers of that era. But I do know that the authentic ones are marked or stamped with a symbol, crest or shield. This one has a stamp and also reads"Germany" on the base, while many others listed on eBay do not. So this one is not"probably" the real deal. IT IS. It is in the style of Conta& Boehme( This baby girl has golden tresses and is holding a cup. The era of this doll falls between the 1850s-1900. She has great, even pastel coloring and big dark-blue intaglio eyes with defined highlights, rosy cheeks with a hint of dimples, and an open smiling ... moremouth with row of molded upper teeth; blonde hair with pointy curls framing the happy face; bare feet with upturned toes; she wears a yellow embossed dress with gold highlights with blue lace ruffle trim and fuchsia pink bows at the shoulders, and she is holding a lavender-pink-colored cup. She is in overall fair condition. Because she is missing a little part of her index finger on her right hand. There is also a hairline on underside of base that slightly and very faintly extends up the bottom sides of the figurine(about 1/2-1/4 inch, please see photo) The hair line is smooth. I do not have the tip of the finger. PLEASE SEE PICS of underside and edge of base. Neither the hair line or little chip next to it is visible for purposes of display. I do not know enough about antique porcelain to know if the missing finger can be repaired/replaced, but I am guessing that this is possible if someone chooses to do so. There are a few scattered specks of spotty discoloration from age, the only ones really noticeable are on her toes. Approximately 6 1/4 inches tall. 4 inches wide, and 5 1/4 inches deep. No makers mark but it is most likely German in origin. In excellent condition with just a few missing gold beads. Gorgeous Boy and Girl Figurines by Conta Boehme of Germany. Circa 1840 They both are dressed in white and pink clothing with floral accents. Conta Boehme shield mark to base and what looks like the numbers 1441 on each and a 0. They are in excellent condition the only thing I can see is a firing crack to the left side of her dress. Quite heavy and great quality pieces. Approximately 6 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide at the base. They could also use a good cleaning. I will leave that to their new owner. This fantastic, very large figural depicts two beautiful women riding in the back of a chariot with another woman sitting in the front behind two winged griffins that are pulling the chariot. This spectacular piece has outstanding modeling, exquisite detail, gorgeous porcelain applied flowers, fabulous handpainted florals, and two wheels that are hinged and actually work! It measures a huge 19" from front to back and is 14 1/2" tall! It is in overall excellent condition with just a few minor chips: the seated woman has the thumb chipped off her right hand. Antique German Porcelain Volkstedt Dresden Lady Blackamoor Lamp Figurine Figure
This is a a beautiful and quite rare to find figural lamp created by the Muller Volkstedt factory of Germany. A lady is sitting at her vanity powdering her face as a young boy puts her shoe on her foot. It is a rare example created by this factory and dates 1920s-40s. The lady has a tiny chip on the end of her pointer finger and the boy has a broken thumb. Minor on display. There is some lace chipping to her gown as well. I did not test the lamp to see if it works however the cord is intact. Measures 8 1/2 inches high by 5 1/2 inches wide. Very special piece for the collector! Gorgeous pair of Victorian handpainted busts of a little girl and boy. They date late 1800s and are beautifully handpainted and modeled. Measure approximately 11 and 10 1/2 inches high by 6 inches wide. They display wonderfully however the boy's hat has been broken and reglued to a section(see photos) and the girl is excellent besides a bit of paint wear on her chin and some nibbles to the very bottom base. ~ Antique / Vintage Bisque Porcelain Cherub Cupid in a Sleigh Figurine German ~
Featured for Auction we have an Antique/ Vintage bisque figurine of a cherub on the side of a dragon headed sleigh. Wonderful coloring. Probably hand painted in pastel colors, with raised enamel. At least we believe this is bisque it may be porcelain. The little cherub is just adorable with his wavy hair, blue eyes, pink wings, and his arrow on his side. It measures about 8 1/2" long by 5" wide and 6" tall. We believe it is German in Origin, but are not certain as there are No Markings. It is in wonderful condition, with minor chipping on the flowers. Also we don't know if the dragons nose is supposed to blunt as it is or if it was pointy originally and broken off and repainted, as it is hard to tell. If you look at the fifth picture, that yellowish spot looks to be a something goopy and mostly came off, you could probably ... moreclean it up even better, its not bad, but wanted to mention it. A little luke warm water, baking soda and a soft brush will make this piece even prettier. This is a beautiful 2 piece Dresden ballerina lady dancer figurine flower frog or hatpin holder that was manufactured in Germany by Volkstedt. The ballerina's bodice is green and her tutu is also accented in that color. The bottom of her base is accented in gold gilt. The bowl is white and it is accented in gold gilt around its edges. Marked on the base with the blue Volkstedt mark and the word Germany is written in cursive. Approximately 4 1/4 inches tall and about 5 1/2 inches wide at its widest point. Rare smaller Meissen Porcelain Figure.M 104 91"Love Bound" A LOVELY MEISSEN CUPID PUTTO TIED UP. This"Love Bound" German figurine depicting the god Cupid dates from the 19TH CENTURY. Cupid is the god of desire. Erotic love, attraction, and affection. As you can see by viewing the pictures. Our poor little putto sits on a on circular grassy pedestal. The perimeter of Cupid's pedestal is painted in beautiful hues of blues and pinks and accented with gold draping and a sea shell design. This little angel and mighty cherub is sans clothing with only a pink/mauve cloth covering him. His hands and small purple and white angel's wings are tied behind his back. His facial expression show discomfort at being put into such a helpless position. His hair is wavy and detailed. They don't make porcelain figures and figurines ... morelike this any more! Very good condition- no cracks. One of the cherub's hand shows signs of previous repair. The top of one of his feet is chipped as is common for these 19th century Meissen antiques. Underneath are the clear marks used between 1875 and 1900- The Meissen crossed swords in underglaze blue. First quality. Incised M 104 and small 91 impressed in the base. This antique figurine shows two Japanese girls, one with an outstretched, graphic folding fan and the other playing a stringed instrument while she dances. In great condition except that at some point in its life the tip of the stringed instrument was lost. This beautiful German porcelain statue is about 5 inches tall and 5 inches wide. Antique Large German Bisque Porcelain Heubach Bros. Piano Baby Figurine Nice!
For your consideration is an Antique Piano Baby Figurine made by Gebruder Heubach. A Piano baby is a figurine used to hold the edges down on the large shawls that would cover the piano. Doll sits 8 1/4" tall. The company. Which translates as Heubach Brothers, was established in 1843 by Georg Christoph and Phillipp Jakob Heubach when they purchased an existing porcelain factory in Lichte, Germany. The company began to manufacture items such as household pottery. Figurines and novelties, and in 1863 opened a local art school for sculptors. This training led to the company becoming renowned for its high quality and lifelike figurines, including their range of which are highly sought after by modern collectors. The company registered its‘sunburst’ mark in 1882. And by 1910 h ad begun to produce bisque dolls. Along with bisque doll heads ... morefor other manufacturers across Europe and the United States. By 1938 the company was forced to close and file for bankruptcy. Condition; She has all her toes! There is a slight stress crack to one arm as pictured. RARE Antique German Bisque Porcelain Piano Baby Doll Figurine
Lovely German antique piano baby figurine of a lovely baby girl sitting and posing for a photograph. This adorable baby girl has wavy brown hair. Blue eyes and a very life-like face. Very unusual piano baby. She is quite large. 7 inches tall in a sitting position, and 6 inches front to back and almost 4 inches wide. There is a red number 43 marked on the base. Appears to be the quality of Hertwig or Heubach but not marked as such. Great antique condition. All fingers and toes intact. There is some wear to the paint on a finger and a toe. Lovely German antique Gebruder Heubach piano baby doll. This precoius boy is sitting on a chair with his arms resting on the back of a chair. He has cute gold rimmed glasses on. There is gold gilding to the wire rimmed glasses as well as to the clothing. This is a large figurine at 11 inches tall and almost 4.5 inches wide. His facial features are exquisite. Amazing details and very well made. His blond curly hair is flowing out from his orange hat. It has the G. Heubach sunburst mark stamped on the bottom. Please see pictures of markings. Antique Unger Schneider porcelain figurine Young man reclining in a chair German
This is a very nice piece of German porcelain made by Unger Schneider in the late 19th century. C. 1880. It features a young man reclining on a chair. The colors a quiet lovely, pinks, greens and golds. There is some slight wear to the gilding, especially to the tips of his shoes. There is no damage. The piece is well marked. It stands 5 inches tall, 5 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches deep.

Rare Antique Dresden Volkstedt Porcelain Military Lady German Figure Figurine
This is a stunning large handpainted figural grouping created by the oldest Volkstedt factory of Germany! It is a gorgeous piece with wonderful details. The lady is making rose garland and the gentleman is holding up a wreath in one hand and a scroll in the other. Measures approximately 10 1/2 inches high by 8 inches wide and displays excellent with minor damages. Some of the leaves and roses are chipped, one is missing on the back of her garland and the scroll in the gentleman's hand has a tiny chip. Also a bit of black paint wear to his pants, all very minor on display. Gorgeous for the collector! This is an absolutely Gorgeous Victorian Lady Bride figurine. She is wearing a beautiful white wedding dress accented with little porcelain roses with gold leaves. She is also holding a lovely bouquet of roses. Her lace dress is in mint condition I can find no damage but her veil has some chipping to the back. This is a Beautiful Dresden Lace Victorian Lady Figurine by Sitzendorf which was manufactured in Germany. Her skirt is accented with porcelain roses. Marked on the base with the Sitzendorf Crown and S. Approximately 8 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches wide at her widest point. This figurine is in very good used condition with lace loss to her skirt and the bottom of her skirt. She also has a few dots of discoloration on her skirt.
