It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. It depicts a little boy with a bowl in his lap. Spoon in his right hand, and a bib. This was hand painted on the front. The back was not painted as was the custom at the time. This comes from a Pennsylvania estate that we purchased and have more going up for auction shortly. Very nice condition. All original. It is numbered 2734 on the back. Antique Aristrocrat Victorian Couple PIANO~VIOLIN c. 1850-75 Germany C Schneider
The company was founded in 1859. From the colors used and the markings. I believe this was made prior to 1875. In 1875 they added a red marking on the bottom of the piece. The company changed hands over the years and finally went out of business in 1951. This figure is a nice size, measures 8 1/2"l x 6 1/2"h x 4" deep. No chips or cracks. She even still has all her delicate little fingers. Very nice detail on this. Very good condition.

This is a gorgeous Victorian Lady Figurine by Franz Witter. She is wearing a lovely white dress with lots of porcelain rose accents and also accented with little porcelain blue bows. She is marked on bottom with the Franz Witter crown and F and the words Made in Germany. There is also the numbers 202 and what looks like the letter p incised into the porcelain. Approximately 8 1/4 inches tall and 5 1/4 inches wide at base. She is in very good condition with just two pink roses missing from dress and one of the tails chipped off a blue bow. This auction is for a wonderful Antique Carl Schneider porcelain Woman with a Horse and Carriage. The company was founded in 1859. From the colors used and the markings. I believe this was made about 1886. On the bottom is the Carl Schneider stamp of a crown with the letters H G and the year 1859. This figure is a nice size, measures 9" L x 7" H x 6" deep. No chips or cracks. Very nice detail on this. Unfortunately the thin reign thread is no longer tied to the driver but probably could be repaired. Otherwise Excellent condition.

Antique Victorian Horse Drawn carriage. Separate wood carriage. Driver, and leather horse with glass eyes. Carriage with driver is approx. 13 1/2" H This is a beautiful piece with attention to detail. The seat cushions are tufted inside the carriage and the interior walls are papered with a green and gold decorative wallpaper.br It is very fragile and with its age comes many condition items. The wheel on the right is not sturdy it's missing a section of wood and two spokes. The horse appears to have at one time been black fur as evidence of that can be seen is on his underside In the pictures. The carriage is propped on a case to hold it up. This delicate antique German lace figurine is 6" long x 4" wide x 4 1/2" tall. It was made in Germany by the Aelteste Volkstedter Porzellanfabrik AG and bears the appropriate mark for the period between 1899 and 1912. Per the AeV marks table. A Victorian lady is dressed in a flowing porcelain lace gown accented with flowers. Her suitor is knelling on his knee as he asks her an important question and she is evidently refusing. The base and sofa are trimmed in gold. The woman's right arm has been reglued above the elbow and the hand is missing. The little finger is missing from the other hand. Antique Victorian Era Miniature Japan Porcelain Dog Big Eyes Ears Strange! 2"
This is one of several antique and extreme vintage smalls and miniatures that we bought this week at an estate sale. All of them were displayed in a large shadow box and they looked great. Take a look at them all and if.or when.you find more than one you love. I'll happily combine shipping. I cannot for the life of me figure out his glaze. I've tried finding similar. But have had no luck. He has the cutest expression on his face. He has large eyes and large ears. He reminds me of a French Bulldog. He has a thick white glaze over the porcelain, and then it's accented in the crevices with a light brown glaze. There is a part on his back that looks like paint ... moredrips, but I believe it to be something that was used in the process to achive the two toned glaze. He is 2 inches tall and marked JAPAN on the back haunch.

Antique TERRACOTTA BUST Victorian Woman MANDOLIN Sculpture ART Italian FRENCH
Antique Terracotta Victorian Bust! Here we have a Fabulous Antique Terracotta Bust of a Victorian Lady playing a Mandolin. She measures approximately 17" high by 12" wide-elbow to elbow. She came from the estate of an elderly woman who traveled extensively. And collected only the finest Antiques while in Europe. I was told by the family she was from Italy and purchased in France. or maybe it was the other way around? She is from the Victorian Era which would make her over 100 years old! She has the most peaceful look on her realistic face as she strums(what I can only assume it a love ballad) on her Mandolin. Beautifully done from her Lace Collar and Cuffs to her Flowered Dress. She is wearing a mosaic pendant around her neck and has a pretty hair band around the curls that fall from the top of her head. I have brushed her with ... morea soft paintbrush to get the dust off and lightly wiped her down. I see in the photos there is more dust close to her collar. And mostly in the crevasses of her hands, around her facial features etc. but I did not want to do a real cleaning as I am not an expert in Terracotta, so I will leave this up to the lucky winner. So please excuse the lack of cleaning and the camera glare. She has some loss of the"velvet" on her pendant around her neck and it looks like part of the Mandolin neck has been glued. I actually didn't notice this for a while, as when she is placed on the table it is not all that noticeable. Certainly does not detract from the detailed beauty of this piece. Some little nicks here and there as is typical of terracotta from this era. She has felt around the base and the numbers 477 29 on the back. She is very heavy! A lovely Art Piece that doesn't come along very often. Perfect for your Eclectic, Victorian or Curated Home! I have a very low reserve which does not reflect the value of this piece. 9" tall bisque girl with her dolly. She is in good condition. With a couple of minor issues. The lower part of her left hand is chipped(but this is not very noticeable unless you hold her upside down) and there is a rough spot on the underside of the base(which may also be a chip) A little of the gold paint has worn off, mainly on the bow of her nightcap. Besides this, she displays well, with no other chips or cracks. The only mark is"54" on the bottom.

The name"fairings" came from the word"fairs" where they were sold. The ornaments were either white or hand painted and most often depicted amusing situations. Most of the fairings either originated in the Staffordshire region of England or from the Conta and Boehme company in Germany. DESCRIPTION This auction is for an antique Victorian fairing entitled"Who is coming? The plinth base is rectangular in shape with embossed fleur dei li and floral decoration at the front corners with hand painted gold gilt embellishment. The handwritten words"Who is coming? written in Old World script styling across the front of the plinth. Atop the plinth is a boudoir setting. At the door is a man dressed in a blue coat and top hat carrying a candle. Antique Porcelain Victorian Dresden Lady Bust Figural Wall Plaque Wedgewood
This is a Gorgeous and very rare handpainted figural plaque depicting a victorian lady. She is wearing a green dress and a big feathered hat. Approximately 8 1/4 inches tall and 6 1/4 inches wide. Marked on the back with Wedgewood Gainsborough Factory Mark as shown. In great condition for it's age with some crazing and paint wear to gold gilt. There is a white spot to the left side as seen in the pics that is not a chip it is the gold gilt worn away. I don't see any chips. Cracks or restorations. This larger set of Victorian bisque figurines was made in Germany in the 1890's. They measure 12" tall and are in excellent condition with no noticeable damage or repairs. They depict a boy and girl dressed in blue outfits with peach and yellow trim. It is also interesting to note that the boy has brown eyes and the girl's eyes are blue! It is amazing that these have survived intact as they have many details which extend outward from their bodies.flowers. Fingers, feathers, and sashes. Antique Victorian Man and lady in Chairs Porcelain Figures
Up for sale from Heebie Jeebies Place are these two old porcelain figures. I know NOTHING about them; They appear they MAY be German. But I just don't know. The lady has realy lace for her dress, the man has lace for cuffs. Man is playing a minstrel like insturment, the lad is fanning herself. I did not see any chips or any damage to these. Even the tiny fingers are intact! The paint looks nice. There are no marks of any kind anywhere on them, I have searched high and low.
