Antique German Porcelain Sitzendorf Dresden Lace Victorian Lady Figurine 8 1/2 "
This is a Beautiful Dresden Lace Victorian Lady Figurine by Sitzendorf which was manufactured in Germany. Her skirt is accented with porcelain roses. Marked on the base with the Sitzendorf Crown and S. Approximately 8 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches wide at her widest point. This figurine is in very good used condition with lace loss to her skirt and the bottom of her skirt. She also has a few dots of discoloration on her skirt. Even with her flaws she displays beautifully. Please view all pics and please use the magnifying option for use as part of the description. Sold as is. STAFFORDSHIRE DALMATIAN DOG FIGURINES - OPPOSING MATCHED PAIR - 5 1/2" TALL
NO RESERVE BID- Here is a really charming old diminutive opposing pair of Staffordshire Dalmatian Dog Figurines. There are almost identical except that one figurine is very slightly taller than the other. One stands approximately 5 1/2" and the other 5 5/8" They have red collars gold. Padlocks and gold chains. Thery appear to be all in great shape but do have"age" crazing under the glaze. I m absolutely no authority and all I can say for certain is that they did come from an old estate. I will be glad to try to answer any email questions. There are no maker's marks or other identification that I can discern. In any event they are certainly a handsome pair in great shape. This is a very beautiful vintage figurine from Germany. I purchased it from the estate of a lady who had been in the military and lived in Germany with her husband for several years before returning the U.S. They had an extensive collection of things from Germany. This being one of them. It is a man sitting at a piano. Details are really wonderful. Colors are vibrant. I do not know the hallmark at the bottom but I believe it may be an early piece of Dresden. It is in two pieces, one being the piano and the other the man sitting on the bench. Appears to have been damaged as it is re-glued on the green portion of the piano where the green flowered piece is. Please see the photos. 11 1/2" Heubach Dancing Girl Bisque Figurine, Marked Heubach, Excellent!
This wonderful antique bisque figurine was made by Gebruder Heubach in the late 1890's or early 1900's. She measures 11 1/2" tall and is in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs. My camera flash really washed her face out.she is beautifully painted and has intaglio eyes! She has the Heubach marking in two different areas. There is an impressed marking along the back edge. Which shows up well in the fourth photo. There is also a blue inked marking on the underside, which I could not capture with my camera due to the flash. I can see no visible damage or signs of repairs. There are a few shallow flakes on the INSIDE of the bottom edge, however they might have happened at the factory(and do not show from the outside at all) She does have a few of the usual firing lines, however they happened during the firing and are NOT ... moredamage. There is a short one where her neck meets her chest(in the front) some lines where her hair meets her neck(in the rear) a short one on the underside of one wrist, and another around the top of one arm, where it meets her lacy collar. If you do not like firing lines or are inclined to think of them as cracks(which they are not) then this figurine is not for you. I know these are firing lines as there is a build-up of the flesh tone in them. The decoration on her dress is particularly attractive and well-done. This is an auction for a beautiful porcelain Lady w/lamb figurine that stands 8-1/2" tall and is in fine condition. She is also carrying a basket of flowers. Made very well and deatiled. Someone took very good care of this piece as there are alot of small pieces that usually get broken off such as: her hands. Arms and in this case the small flowers in the backet. This is a pair of dog figurines from Japan. One is playing a drum and the other an accordion. The one playing the accordion has the word Japan stamped/written on the bottom and the other a mark I don't recognize. I tried to take pictures of the markings but you couldn't make them out in the photographs. I have no idea the actual age of these figurines.
