Offered for sale is a Fabulous Vintage Maitland Smith Demilune Game Table. Beautifully tooled antique brown leather covers the table. Top to bottom, including the small finials, feet and legs. The table features gold embossed detailing, three little decorative drawers with solid brass pulls, and the Maitland Smith brass plate inside the center drawer. This table is a demilune with the option of opening the top to reveal a 30" diameter round surface. The back two legs swing at approximately a 45 degree angle to support the top when open. Overall the table is in excellent condition with the following exceptions: The leather has finish wear when in the demilune position(see pic#12) The bottom of the feet have nicks in the leather with the most prominent and noticeable in pic#11. This is a beautiful vintage 60s square walnut side table. I don't see a manufacturer name on the table. It is nice quality and well made. The table measures 21-1/4" tall and it is 29-3/4" square. It has 3 drawers, each drawer is 19" deep. The table is in excellent condition, the top does show some vintage wear. On inspection there is a ring and some scuffing. A light refinish of the top would make it perfect. This table comes from a smoke free and pet free home. It is clean and ready to use. The table will be shipped by Greyhound bus. It is made from Tennessee cherry wood. The entire table is solid Cherry wood.The drawer slides in and out with ease and are dovetailed. There is a small finish break spot on the drawer(see pix) it does not go through to the wood. The tops appear to have been professionally refinished with a very good match in color and finish.
