Description Offered for sale is an S. Bent& Bros. Inc. Vintage Maple 48" Round Extension Table with Two 9" Leaves. This table was manufactured in Gardner. Massachussetts and I believe it to be circa 1970's. The table has a very thick solid maple top with a beautiful grain. It appears to have been refinished on the top because the finish is in excellent shape and only has a few slight scratches on the surface. The legs are turned and have a spoonfoot. The feet do have wear. Chips and scratches(see pics#9-12 for close-ups) The table measures 48" round and will extend to 48" x 66" when both leaves are used. It can be found on page#177 of the 80th edition Ethan Allen Treasury of American Traditional Interiors. In this auction. I am selling the table without the glass top. The glass may break during shipping and could damage the cane top so it is not included. You will need a clear glass top that measures 11 3/4" x 55 3/4" x 1/8" In Dallas, the price of glass that size runs $17.00, so very reasonable. The glass sits recessed in the table and covers the cane completely(see pics#3,4) The measurements of the table are 60" wide x 16" deep x 27.5" tall. It is item#10-8625 on page#267 of the 68th edition of the Ethan Allen Treasury. The lamp table is part of the Heirloom Livingroom Collection and has the#211 warm brown nutmeg finish. Overall the table is in excellent condition. This Listing is for a Cushman Colonial Creations Maple Dining Table- including 6 chairs The table is in overall very good condition for the age. No significant damage to the wood. Some obvious daily wear visible in the photos, giving it character. I have noticed that there is slight separation in the center of the table, you can see the line in the second photo. It is a little greater in the winter when it is dry and nearly gone in the summer when it is more humid. Doesn't bother us any, but believing in full disclosure. The table measures 48” long by 35.5” wide by 29” high. The table has two pull out extension leaves. Each measures 12” making the table extend up to 72” long. There are 4 chairs with the matching reddish finish, and 2 with a more uncoated, natural look(one of each shown in individual photos) All chairs are fully functional, ... moreone or two could use a little glue help as they are a little creaky/wiggly. and it appears that someone before us, did a bit of visible gluing on one of them. Maple burl wood 2 inch thick slab mid century modern table bench 4ft iron legs
This is a beautiful old solid Maple burl bench or coffee table. I think we picked it up at a swap meet back in the 70's. it was old then and has that 50's varnish on the top. The legs are a solid iron but nothing special. The Maple slab is 2 inches thick. 12 inches wide and just at 4ft. long at the longest point. It has wonderful natural burl edges. it stands 14 inches high and is easily strong enough to support human weight. Gorgeous Vintage ( Baker Furniture ) Burled Maple Inlaid Coffee Table
I have a gorgeous Vintage Baker Furniture Coffee Table that I picked up from a hi-end estate sale. This table is solid burled maple( I believe) and has an inlaid pattern going around the perimeter of the table top as pictured. There may be some faint scratches from use over the years and there is a couple of wear marks to the veneer on the lip of the table. REMEMBER this is a vintage table that has been gently used. You will find nicks and wear marks on pre-owned furniture no matter how careful the previous owner was. The table has brass end caps on the legs and has carved woodwork all over the table. Ethan Allen manufactures high quality investments grade furniture that can be passed down through generations. This table is a wonderful example of their fine craftsmanship. Beautiful wood grain. Measures 40" wide x 19 1/4" deep. Table surface measures 14" from the floor and top tier measures 18 3/4" from the floor. In excellent structural and cosmetic condition- very solid. I find no cracks. Dings or other marks in the wood. There a few minor surface scratches here and there, but they are so minor, none would even show up in any close-up pictures. Weighs 32 pounds. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Mid Century side table. This is a stunning table which features an X base leg design with a Birds Eye Maple top. The legs are connected with a central, turned wood stretcher. The table retains the original factory finish which is a white washed, painted finish. The white is accented with gold leaf in French Provencial fashion. The top is extremely beautiful. The maple has a striking grain and there is a darker stained border a couple of inches inside the perimeter. The table is solid wood and of very nice construction. It is held with flat screws. The table has two metal tags under the top with initials and the word"norm" embossed. The table is stamped by the manufacturer"WEIMAN Heirloom Quality" Weiman did, indeed, make wonderful pieces of very nice quality, and this table is no ... moreexception. It is in very good condition with very minor signs of age. The top has two very small darkened marks which are not distracting. The legs have VERY minor scuffs to the painted finish but, again, minor and not distracting. Overall, the table is extremely nice. The table measures 18" tall.
