Beautiful antique c1899 German bisque piano doll- Blowing Kisses- It is 11.5cm(4.5" tall finely modeled with wonderful details. The doll is in very very good condition as you can see by the photos. In the 5th 7th& 8th photo you can see there's an indent in the shoulder which is quite common in early bisque pieces as there was often firing flaws. In the 8th photo I have tried to show a mark in the groin. The little black spots are paint which. I have not tried to remove. There is a photo of the markings however I do not know what they mean. I have tried to explain the faults if you need any more information please email me. This is a great opportunity to buy such a lovely original doll for the collector or someone who appreciates antique dolls.

Here's a BEAUTIFUL find from an estate purchase; this came from a very old household in central Kentucky. And was part of a large lot of antique and vintage pottery and porcelain which I'll be listing over the next few weeks. This beautiful young lady stands about 12 1/2" inches tall. Is dressed in winter clothes and has her pocket puppy wrapped in a warm cuff. I've seen this figural before(I've been collecting, hunting, trading and buying for over 30 years) and I can assure you that this is European production, German or Dutch origin, late 19th century to early 20th century and handpainted. Inside the bottom, there is a tag with an inscription in typical old-lady writing: As far back as I can remember this doll was at our house- before 1914. It belonged to my mother Martha(Maarke? It depicts a little boy with a bowl in his lap. Spoon in his right hand, and a bib. This was hand painted on the front. The back was not painted as was the custom at the time. This comes from a Pennsylvania estate that we purchased and have more going up for auction shortly. Very nice condition. All original. It is numbered 2734 on the back. Antique German Schafer Vater Elephant bisque shaving mug figurine
This auction is for antique German bisque Schafer and Vater figural elephant shaving mug. It is well molded with nice relief and detail. It has a cameo of ballerina on each side and figural elephant handles. The condition is very good undamaged. There is only minor paint wear on the gold. It has star and crown mark along with G814 incised on the bottom and measures 3 ½” tall and 3” across. On Feb-23-13 at 17:29:51 PST. Antique Stamped German Conta Boehme? Porcelain Bisque Girl Piano Baby Figurine
~ Antique German Piano Baby ~ Marked"Germany" on base with symbol that resembles a shield This is a large antique German bisque piano baby figurine that is from a deceased relative's China cabinet from the New Orleans area. I am not an expert on all the manufacturers of that era. But I do know that the authentic ones are marked or stamped with a symbol, crest or shield. This one has a stamp and also reads"Germany" on the base, while many others listed on eBay do not. So this one is not"probably" the real deal. IT IS. It is in the style of Conta& Boehme( This baby girl has golden tresses and is holding a cup. The era of this doll falls between the 1850s-1900. She has great, even pastel coloring and big dark-blue intaglio eyes with defined highlights, rosy cheeks with a hint of dimples, and an open smiling ... moremouth with row of molded upper teeth; blonde hair with pointy curls framing the happy face; bare feet with upturned toes; she wears a yellow embossed dress with gold highlights with blue lace ruffle trim and fuchsia pink bows at the shoulders, and she is holding a lavender-pink-colored cup. She is in overall fair condition. Because she is missing a little part of her index finger on her right hand. There is also a hairline on underside of base that slightly and very faintly extends up the bottom sides of the figurine(about 1/2-1/4 inch, please see photo) The hair line is smooth. I do not have the tip of the finger. PLEASE SEE PICS of underside and edge of base. Neither the hair line or little chip next to it is visible for purposes of display. I do not know enough about antique porcelain to know if the missing finger can be repaired/replaced, but I am guessing that this is possible if someone chooses to do so. There are a few scattered specks of spotty discoloration from age, the only ones really noticeable are on her toes. This is a bisque piano baby figurine with girl in a bonnet sitting down to eat with her spoon and plate while her little dog tries to steal a bite. Approximately 6 1/4 inches tall. 4 inches wide, and 5 1/4 inches deep. No makers mark but it is most likely German in origin. In excellent condition with just a few missing gold beads. Paint wear to the gold beads and a small nick to the bottom of figure(not noticable) Displays beautifully. Gorgeous pair of Victorian handpainted busts of a little girl and boy. They date late 1800s and are beautifully handpainted and modeled. Measure approximately 11 and 10 1/2 inches high by 6 inches wide. They display wonderfully however the boy's hat has been broken and reglued to a section(see photos) and the girl is excellent besides a bit of paint wear on her chin and some nibbles to the very bottom base. Featured for Auction we have an Antique/ Vintage bisque figurine of a cherub on the side of a dragon headed sleigh. Wonderful coloring. Probably hand painted in pastel colors, with raised enamel. At least we believe this is bisque it may be porcelain. The little cherub is just adorable with his wavy hair, blue eyes, pink wings, and his arrow on his side. It measures about 8 1/2" long by 5" wide and 6" tall. We believe it is German in Origin, but are not certain as there are No Markings. It is in wonderful condition, with minor chipping on the flowers. Also we don't know if the dragons nose is supposed to blunt as it is or if it was pointy originally and broken off and repainted, as it is hard to tell. Antique Vintage German Bisque Doll or Girl figurine Planter with Cherub or Angel
You are bidding on one vintage bisque figurine made in Germany. This is a nice size piece. To me it looks like paradise. This is a very whimsicle piece. It measures approx 8 1/4 inches tall. Across the bottom 7 1/2 inches long by 4 1/2 inches wide. Measured across the front approx 8 inches long. This item is marked. It appears to be a G Dep and a number 8712 etched in the bottom. This is of a girl with a cherub or angel looking into a planter of some sought. On the bottom are two ducks drinking water from a water fall. Very nice piece. There are a few small chips. Around the top vase type part at the tips. I see three of the tips have small chips. On the cherub or boy his hand has two chips one on the inside and one on the outside. His purple wrap also has a small chip on the front and a larger chip on the side of it. I see a little chip ... morealso on one of the pieces of wood along the bottom basket. All chips are small. I used a magnifying glass to find most of them. There is some gold paint wear on the bottom of the girls skirt and other places. I am not sure what the makers marks for these type of items are, so I can not tell you who made them. I will however try to capture them in a picture for you to see. I was told this was German bisque, but again, I have no way of knowing for sure. This is an adorable item. Please see all pictures. I wish I could add more than twelve pictures for some of these pieces. This is an estate sale find, actually the bisque items came from a place that attends auctions and also purchases entire estates. I am not an expert. I will describe items to the best of my ability and tell you what I see. Because I am not perfect it is possible for me to miss something that is important to an expert. If I did not mention any other issues, I do not see any other issues. All of the pieces seem a bit dusty and could use to be wiped down with a damp cloth. For your consideration is an Antique Piano Baby Figurine made by Gebruder Heubach. A Piano baby is a figurine used to hold the edges down on the large shawls that would cover the piano. Doll sits 8 1/4" tall. The company. Which translates as Heubach Brothers, was established in 1843 by Georg Christoph and Phillipp Jakob Heubach when they purchased an existing porcelain factory in Lichte, Germany. The company began to manufacture items such as household pottery. Figurines and novelties, and in 1863 opened a local art school for sculptors. This training led to the company becoming renowned for its high quality and lifelike figurines, including their range of which are highly sought after by modern collectors. The company registered its‘sunburst’ mark in 1882. And by 1910 h ad begun to produce bisque dolls. Along with bisque doll heads ... morefor other manufacturers across Europe and the United States. RARE* 16” ANTIQUE GERMAN BISQUE HEUBACH GIRL W/ FAN*GORGEOUS* This beautiful figurine was found at a recent local sale. She is an unmarked Heubach. I have an identical one that IS marked. Purchased long ago along with her mate and also a collection of about 50 Heubachs…she is guaranteed Heubach. As any Heubach collector can tell you, they are not all marked. This girl stands a massive 16” tall. She is holding a fan above her head. The fan is embellished with purple hand painted flowers. This girl has a very serene look on her face. See close-up pictures. She has intaglio blue eyes and coral colored blush and lips. There are ever so slight dimples on her cheeks. Her blonde hair is done in a top knot with a pink bow. Her dress is a pale greenish yellow with purple and gold embellishments of flowers and leaves and scrolls. There is one flaw ... morewhich is a shallow chip at the front right bottom edge. It has been painted in(paint matches well) and is not very visible. On the base. You might see slight smudges. This is where the painter held the item while decorating it. Mine also has it as does a few of my other larger Heubachs. It is slight, but want to mention it. If you are a Heubach collector, you know what I mean. This girl is large and heavy and will ship FedEx well packed. Pictures are taken under different lighting. Some flash, some not, sometimes outdoors so there is no question about what it looks like. This is a gorgeous oil lamp swinger figurine depicting two children. A boy and a girl piano baby type figures sitting on a swing. Approximately 5 inches tall and 4 inches wide. There is no manufacturers mark but it is most definitely German in origin. In great condition with just some paint rub. A repair to the boys foot and a small chip to back of swing and a red paint mark near the chip. No other chips. Cracks or restorations. This is an original matching pair of Victorian era. Hand-painted bisque porcelain busts of a girl and a cavalier boy that is circa 1880's- 90's. This pair of charming bisque figures are unmarked. Judging from the technique, colors, and quality of this small busts I would say that they could have easily have been made by the GEBRUDER HEUBACH factory in Germany, but you can be the judge of that yourself. These delicately modeled antique bisque figurines features a elegant Victorian girl in a beautiful bonnet and handsome young Cavalier. Both are done in a bright jewel like pastel colors. This is an adorable figurine of a little girl piano baby type figurine. Her dress is blue and white and highlighted with gold and silver gilt highlights and dots. Approximately 11 1/2 inches tall and 3 inches wide at base. The numbers 5058 are incised in bisque on the back bottom of figurine. In excellent condition. No chips. Antique German Porcelain Bisque Dresden Girl Figurine with Match Holder
This is a bisque little girl figurine of a little girl with a basket. She is standing next to the match holder. Approximately 4 1/2 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches wide at the base. Marked on the back with the numbers 3126. In excellent condition with a teeny tine chip to the top of the match holder and some minor paint wear. No other chips. Antique German Bisque Porcelain Dresden Baby & Mother on Settee Figurine Group
This is a beautiful figurine depicting a mother lying back on a settee with her baby on her knee and a basket at her side. Their clothing is accented in gold gilt highlights and raised gold gilt beads. Approximately 4 3/4 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches wide. There is no manufacturers mark but it is most likey German in origin. There are some numbers incised into the back of the settee it looks like 3997. In excellent used condition. Just some paint rub to the gold gilt on the figurine and the raised beads. No other chips. Cracks or restorations. Antique German Bisque Porcelain Piano Baby Boy Doll Figurine Figure
This is an adorable little boy piano baby figurine manufactured in Germany. He is holding a clown or punch character in his hands. His clothing is blue and white and is accented with gold gilt raised dots and he is wearing a white and yellow hat. His skin has a peppered like effect to it. Approximately 7 3/4 inches wide and 5 inches tall. It is marked on the bottom Germany and what I believe to be the number 7485. In excellent condition. I don't see any chips. Cracks or restorations. c. 1885 German Bisque Figurines, Boy/Girl In PINK, Victorian Antique Statues!
This wonderful set of Victorian bisque figurines was made in Germany c. 1885. They measure 10" and are in excellent condition! This matching set is unusual as both the girl and the boy are dressed in pink! The boy is holding a cat and the girl is holding a mandolin. With the exception of a few teeny. Tiny pin-head-size flakes along the bottom edge of each figurine(two each) they are in excellent condition with no damage.no repairs, cracks, or chips. Large 12" German Bisque Victorian Figurines, c. 1890, MINT, Antique Statues!
This larger set of Victorian bisque figurines was made in Germany in the 1890's. They measure 12" tall and are in excellent condition with no noticeable damage or repairs. They depict a boy and girl dressed in blue outfits with peach and yellow trim. It is also interesting to note that the boy has brown eyes and the girl's eyes are blue! It is amazing that these have survived intact as they have many details which extend outward from their bodies.flowers. Fingers, feathers, and sashes.
