Cuyahoga County, Ohio, printed more than 111 years ago. The coverage area extends east from Lakeview Road(East 110th Sreet) and across Eddy Road. Including a portion of the village north of St. Clair Avenue. The names of many of the other streets shown have since changed. The map shows the Cleveland. Painesville& Eastern(CP&E) an interurban electric railway line which ran east from Cleveland to Painesville, through Glenville and Collinwood. The CP&E forks at the upper left, with the main line continuing along St. Clair and a spur heading north along Lake Shore. The map also labels lots and subdivisions. With the names of property owners and realty companies. It was published by H.B. Stranahan& Company, Cleveland and is copyrighted © 1903. The image area measures a generous 15-3/4" x 26-1/2" And the map is drawn on a scale of 400 feet to the inch. Condition: This map is in excellent condition, bright and clean. With no marks. Cuyahoga County, Ohio, printed more than 111 years ago. The map labels the Cleveland. Painesville& Eastern(CP&E) an interurban electric railway line which ran east from Cleveland to Painesville, through Glenville and Collinwood. East of Dugway Brook, the CP&E ran parallel to the tracks of the Lake Shore& Michigan Southern Railway— the first rail connection between New York City and Chicago. Today Glenville is a neighborhood on the east side of Cleveland. When this map was printed it was a small village just beyond the eastern edge of the city limits.
