Blunt in four and five fathoms water. Water spot near to left corner margin, small section missing above top, center title block, both could mat out. Creases from long enclosure in book. Each of these maps is in pretty nice shape with good colors. But there are small imperfections like binder holes might be torn or small creases, etc. No writing on any of them. These maps were in a normal letter sheet size binder, so they are all at least 8.5" x 11" but some are bigger and would have been neatly folded to fit in the binder/book. All would look great if professionally matted and framed for your wall! Please see enlarged photos above to make determination of quality. Condition, detail, what's included, etc. Sorry if there is glare from the camera flash on some of the photos. We purchase items from estate sales. Auctions, etc. We do not know who owned these items originally so some items come from homes with smokers, pets, etc. Some of the old paper items(books, catalogs, etc. may have a musty odor to them and ... moresome items may have cigarette smoke odors. Vtg Antique Beebes Island Map U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers Industrial Decor

For your consideration is a large cloth backed map/chart of a section of the Illinois River. Print# 33. The piece measures 42 1/2" x 12' and shows well. The map was made by the UNITED STATES ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS 1902-1904. The map shows elevations(flood zone) geological basin content, present land use as well as property owners names and boundaries. The map is in pretty good condition overall though there are some tears/chips around the edges, mostly smaller. The linen backer and heavy paper map are in good condition for age with no holes. There are some pencil notations here and there, but look to be very old and professionally done.probably by the engineers. I have 19 of these maps that I will be listing as I can.
