Antique 19th Century MEISSEN- Je les Ramene" Porcelain Cupid Motto Figure Figurine Antique German Meissen“Je les Ramene” cupid motto figure. The heavy porcelain figurine of a cupid or putto is surrounded by and holding flowers with a quiver full of arrows. The fine hand-painted porcelain figurine has a raised oval plaque on the front with the French words“Je les Ramene” written in script. The figure is signed on the underside with the blue under-glaze crossed swords Meissen mark. The number 11 in red glaze and an impressed“F12” and“48” The Meissen figure has tiny chips to a few of the flowers and an approximate ½” crack on the pedestal that is holding flowers. The original garland that the cupid is holding is broken in several parts and only two pieces of it remain as seen in the photos below. LARGE 18th CENTURY DERBY PORCELAIN FIGURE RANELAGH DANCER c1770 Presented is a Derby porcelain figure from England that dates to circa 1765-70! This figure is most likely of a famous leading actor of the time. We believe it is part of the Ranelagh Dancers of Derby because of the placement of its hands and posture. The figure is holding a posy in his outstretched hand. On a scroll-molded base. Flowery, leafy branches are on both sides of him. He is wearing a green and red cape over a white shirt with a yellow rim and red, blue, and yellow flowers. He has brown eyes and black hair. The condition is excellent. There are some flakes to the paint/glaze( the worst of which is shown in the last photograph to part of the green cape) and many of the leaves and flower petals have ... morebroken off. His left hand was broken off and has been repaired. The fingers on his left hand have also been repaired. Please see the photographs below. His hat has been repainted in the front and what appears to have been feathers or leaves on his hat have broken off. There are a couple of natural fissures that occurred in the making. The glaze has flowed into these and they should not be considered damage. One is on his shoulder over the green cape, and the other is along his pigtail. The figure stands 13 inches high. Beautiful vase in mint condition made by the distinguished porcelain maker Jacob Petit(1830-1860) Depicting a pair of doves. One sitting in her nest with eggs and the other standing in a bark. Great colors all around the piece, has a scroll base which makes it very rococo style typical of the Jacob Petit factory. It is gilded on its base and also inside the vase. This is an extremely rare piece to find and its around 180 years old. This is not a reproduction, guaranteed to be original. The male figure was done after a model by Friedrich Elias Meyer from 1765. Depicting Summer and done as a spice dish. He at some point in his years took a fall as someone repaired his one arm and hand(see photo's) He is missing just the very tips of his fingers on that hand. He could no doubt be professionally repaired and other than this one fault he is in excellent condition! He has no other chips or cracks and has weathered his many years very well. 19th Century Antique Matching Numbered Pair Staffordshire Porcelain Spaniel Dogs
Here is a perfectly wonderful old numbered and trade marked matching pair of Staffordshire Spaniels that date back to the late 1800's. The British royalty loved their Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and they became a revered subject for the porcelain pottery makers of 19th Century England. The pair came down with my Great-Grandparents to Bartow. Florida in 1910 and have been in the family since. I only say this because it probably makes them a"one owner" provenance. The mark on the base is that of"Old Staffordshire Ware England" And both pieces are numbered but only one still legibly. They appear to be numbered 43 and 17 and of course, the numbers are under the original glaze. In 1892 Parliament decreed that English pottery must say"England" on the bottom. Twenty years later the mark had to read"Made ... morein England" The Spaniels stand 5 1/2" high and the base is four inches long by 2 3/4" at the widest part. The pair is in absolutely perfect condition. With no cracking, chipping or crazing whatsoever. I photographed them in sunlight and with flash to try and bring out the lovely rose gold paint under the glaze. The locket and collar are probably 24 carat solid gold paint. I will want to send these insured for at least the value of the winning bid. If you would like. I can insure them for the appraised value of five hundred U.S.D. RARE 18th Century Ludwigsburg German porcelain figure
This figure is shown in 18th century court dress. She is four inches high and width is six inches. Purchased in England by me at an antique fair in England. When purchased there were two flaws which are shown in the photos, left arm is missing from the elbow down, and on the back of the dress at the hem is a small chip. Figure is particularly unusual in that it has petticoats, legs and shoes under the main dress. The makers mark shown was used between 1764 and 1793.

This is a pair of late 19th century Carl Schneider porcelain figures. They are stunning: main defects are slight cracks in the bottom of each chair rail; these are not discernible unless you turn them upside down. They were probably a result of the original manufacturing process. They are not breaks. There is also a slight line around the base of the girls neck which is a firing line. They are 8" tall. This auction is for an early 20th century Italian porcelain leopard. This piece has no chips. Cracks, or breaks but there is a spot were the glaze has began flaking on the leopards lower left hind leg and on its right upper side. This piece is very well sculpted and decorated. There is a hand painted mark on the leopards underside. It is a capitol letter N topped by a downward curved line and five(5) inverted teardrop-like markings. 18th Century Vienna Porcelain Figural Group Eighteen Century Vienna Porcelain Figural Group This is an 18th century Vienna porcelain figural group featuring three Putti playing musical instruments. One is playing the cymbals. Another the harp and the last the flute. The cherubs are modeled in the Meisen style and have the under glaze blue bee-hive mark on the bottom. The figurine is from around the late 1700'Southey are scadly clothed and appear to be having a good time. A floral arrangement surrounds the bottom. The group measures about seven inches high and five inches wide. It is in excellent shape with all fingers accounted for.
