Antique Staffordshire 2 Young Boys on a Bridge Figurine What a couple of cuties! Presented is a wonderful Staffordshire figurine that features the figures of two young boys seated on a bridge. One boy has his hand raised to his head- it makes me wonder if a strong breeze just stole away his hat! Dates to the mid- to late-1800s. There is crazing throughout the piece. And it looks like someone has touched up the gilding. There is also a dark line around the backside of one of the boys(please see photos) I do believe it to be a crack, but I can't be sure- and even if it is, it hasn't gone all the way around the boy, so he certainly was never broken off at any point. As long as he is treated with a little TLC, it shouldn't be a problem. Plus, it's on the reverse of the piece, so unless you were planning on displaying these little ... moreguys with their backsides facing outward, no one's going to have any idea the line is even there! The first measures 9 ¾” tall and depicts a standing woman in lovely costume. She has had her head re-attached and there is a loss on the underside of her right sleeve. The 5 ¼” tall bust features elaborately hand modeled and hand finished details and depicts a pretty lady with HUGE picture book hat and extensively hand worked hair. A very hard to find set and the covered sugar is marked with the impressed Cyples mark of the early period. The sugar is marked and the creamer is unmarked. Size of the sugar: 4.5" to the top of the figural finial and 5" wide at the widest point. The creamer is 4" tall by 5" wide from spout to handle. Condition shows tiny flakes/chips along top of lid and along the interior lid rim. Other very small imperfections. The creamer shows some professional restoration along the spout and a very small interior rim chip. Overall design and condition is good for the extreme age. This is a very beautiful vintage figurine from Germany. I purchased it from the estate of a lady who had been in the military and lived in Germany with her husband for several years before returning the U.S. They had an extensive collection of things from Germany. This being one of them. It is a man sitting at a piano. Details are really wonderful. Colors are vibrant. I do not know the hallmark at the bottom but I believe it may be an early piece of Dresden. It is in two pieces, one being the piano and the other the man sitting on the bench. Appears to have been damaged as it is re-glued on the green portion of the piano where the green flowered piece is. Please see the photos. Antique Victorian Era Miniature Japan Porcelain Dog Big Eyes Ears Strange! 2"
This is one of several antique and extreme vintage smalls and miniatures that we bought this week at an estate sale. All of them were displayed in a large shadow box and they looked great. Take a look at them all and if.or when.you find more than one you love. I'll happily combine shipping. I cannot for the life of me figure out his glaze. I've tried finding similar. But have had no luck. He has the cutest expression on his face. He has large eyes and large ears. He reminds me of a French Bulldog. He has a thick white glaze over the porcelain, and then it's accented in the crevices with a light brown glaze. There is a part on his back that looks like paint ... moredrips, but I believe it to be something that was used in the process to achive the two toned glaze. He is 2 inches tall and marked JAPAN on the back haunch.

Ebay Listing Page RARE Large 20" Antique Sitzendorf Porcelain Maiden& Lamb Figurine Item Description: Up for auction is a stunning antique porcelain grand scale porcelain figurine manufactured in Sitzendorf. Thuringia, Germany between 1887-1900. The figurine was manufactured by the highly collectible Sitzendorfer Porcelain Works and it features a young maiden with a lamb seated at her foot. The figurine is very intricate with separated fingers, raised flowers and ruffles, and texture work on the lamb's fleece and the branches of the tree. The skirt is decorated with hand-painted flowers and the base is adorned with gold accents. The underside of the figurine is marked with the Sitzendorf mark in cobalt blue. Overall the figurine stands about 19 1/2" tall. This is about as nice as they come! I do have the matching figurine ... morethat accompanies this one, which is a boy with a dog. If interested, please let me know. Item Condition: The overall condition of the figurine is excellent. I have surveyed every detail on this piece down to each flower petal. Leaf, finger, piece of lace, etc. I have found no chips, cracks, flakes, or repairs. It is quite difficult to find a piece with this much intricate work that has absolutely no flaws. The white porcelain is still quite bright, but it could use a good cleaning. It is slightly dirty in some areas, especially some of the crevases where dust tends to collect and settle over many years. I see no crazing to the glaze, and it is bright and glossy. The base has standard rubbing and dirt from years of use and display, and the trademark is easy to read. This would make an excellent display piece or be a fine addition to someone's collection! 2 Old Antique German Bisque Figurines SNOW BABIES Girl on Sled Baby in Lap
Sold as one lot of two. From estate. I am not totally sure these items originally went together because the baby does not have a very snug fit. But on the other hand the shoes look very similar. In any event, original combo or not, they do look great together. The larger of the two is about 1 3/4 inches long, 1 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches tall. The baby is about 1 1/4 inches tall. Both are in excellent condition with no damage or repair. The baby only is marked Germany on the bottom. For auction. A really pretty pair of antique or vintage figurines marked number 10186 Germany, I could not who made these but photographed number and Germany mark for you. They are hand painted and stand 5 1/2 inches tall. The paint is beautiful and there are no chips or cracks, A French Victorian man and lady. I do not know if they are a reproduction or actually old but they are very pretty. Appear to be old, there is felt on the bottom of the base.
