They are made ... moreof cherry with a chocolate brown stain. Golden highlights are present as well. The pair have cabriole legs with carved. Acanthus leaves as well as ball and claw foot details. The apron sections are extremely detailed and ornate. They feature a carved/incised acanthus scroll and shell pattern which is present on all 4 sides. The tops are in a stepped design and are very thick. There is a recessed, window pane feature which is designed for a glass top. The tables are very nice. There are no manufacturer's marks but there is a patent sticker present. They are very sturdy though not exceptionally heavy. There are just a few and very minor nicks and slight scuffs which are not distracting and which can be resolved. The original glass is not present but should be very easy and inexpensive to replace. These are beautiful! Please note that we have the matching sofa table listed separately. The tables are rectangular and can be placed as you choose since the aprons are the same. They measure 21.5" tall. 21.75" wide and 27.75" long. The replacement glass needs to be approximately 17.25" x 23" Shipping via GREYHOUND to the station nearest you. Antique Cast Brass Handle- Sturdy-lot of 12- Cupboards and Cabinets - NOS
This is an older sturdy plain cast brass handle. Which is a good choice for cupboards and cabinets. I dealt with a savvy picker who bought a variety of excellent hardware from retirees of Keeler Brass Company in Grand Rapids-the Furniture City. The story is that the company threw away the remnants of hardware when it was discontinued, and it was salvaged by employees. These are unused old stock from that source. And have acquired a pleasant patina. The handles are 4" long overall. The two holes on each end are on 3-1/2" centers. Price quoted is for lot of twelve handles. Currently there is a variety of hardware on my site. And more is being added. so do check it out.

But I am blown away by the quality. They come with a blue, genuine mahogany label inside saying that the exterior is all solid mahogany, and that the plywood is 100 percent mahogany, and the association number is 139, which would be this furniture company’s code number to look them up. This was a code used by the better furniture companies that belonged to an association to prevent them from being copied by knockoff companies that made similar looking but lower-quality pieces. Do not get these confused with a Drexel or any of the other corner cabinets from the‘50s. These are bigger, of better quality, and the selection of flame mahogany across the fronts on the doors is banded and outstanding. They have their original cast brass hardware, and all the beveled glass is good. There are two shelves behind each glass door. It’s really hard to find a matched pair of anything, never mind something as magnificent as these pieces. Antique Vintage 'Republic' Metal Kitchen Cabinets 9 Pieces 1950's-1960's

Here is a complete'Republic' metal kitchen suite. This was removed from a home that was built in the late 1950's-mid 1960's. There are(9) pieces in all: 4) uppers, 4) base cabinets and(1) wall oven cabinet. There is also a filler piece that's included for the upper cabinets. There are no countertops or sink included. It appears that these were originally white. But were painted beige at some point. You can still see the original finish in spots where the cabinets overlapped(see final pic) There are holes, some rust and wear; these would definitely benefit ... morefrom some TLC and refinishing. The bases have some rust on the kicks. But I do know of a metalsmith that can replicate them if the buyer is interested. There is also a fair bit of rust on parts of the bases, check photos for condition. The sink section is actually not a complete cabinet, it is meant to be mounted between 2 cabinets; it's just a front and a floor(see pics) There is a lazy susan for a corner cabinet, and a matching corner cabinet that get's placed above it. Also, one of the base cabinets had a cooktop mounted in it, so there are makeshift grilles where the drawers would go that could be done better. The oven cabinet was hacked up a bit to fit the oven that was there when it was removed. Some of the bracing has been cut and modified. As mentioned. This set needs some work but would make a great mid-century inspired kitchen or even great utility storage! UPPERS: all are 12 1/4" deep(13 1/4" w/doors) except for the corner cabinet-2) are 42" wide X 18" tall-1) is 24" wide X 30" tall-corner cabinet is 30" tall and 26" long on mounting sides-1) filler piece is 3" wide X 18" tall- BASES: all are 34 1/2"

All cabinets are all orginial including wood. Hinges, latches, charts, shifters, canisters, and sugar bins, and pull out tops, feet, and casters, bread drawers and sliding lids, racks and shelfs.Cabinet# 4(sellers) has the matching set of glass canisters including the spice, coffee, tea, salt, swing out sugar jar and matching glass canister with scoop. Also has egg timer on chart and the orginial paint on interior and automatic pull out bottom shelf. Cabinet# 3(Hoosier beauty) has the matching canister set including the 7 spice jars, coffee, tea, salt, measuring cup and salt and pepper shakers.Cabinets 1&2(The older Hoosiers) have matching canister ... moresets, one glass and the other tin, including spice and coffee, tea, and salt disspencers. Rolling pins and spices and most of the hand gagets are included. Canisters sets can be switched in these two cabinets. Both of the zink tops have the patten date on them.The bottom panels on these two cabinets have been repacled but have been stained and weathered to look as close to orgnial as possible. All drawers, hinges, latches, slides work as they should with no binding, sagwing, or spring loading. I have treasured these cabinets for many years and I would consider then to be family Heirlooms to be handed down and not just a kitchen cabinet. CA, this piece was in one of many bars downtown; when the owner sold the bar. The piece ended up with our family and we have enjoyed it for over 3 0 years. It fit nicely into a family room(remodeled two-car garage) and then was moved to be the centerpiece of a Bed and Breakfast in the mountains. No w it is in a family home. But ready to be claimed by someone who will appreciate its History and Beauty! Each section measures 6 ft long and stand 8ft tall with a total of 24 ft all original finishing except the inside was a pale green I painted white when I purchased the cabinets. In speaking with the Leick company they said these curios are 1 of a kind and are no longer produced. They are very rare! The only reason why I am selling them is because I moved and can no longer enjoy these pieces. This model of curio is called the Bayfield Echoes of Chequamegon. The curios light up the hardware is brass and the glass is antique leaded glass. There are two curios which I want to sell together and they are in great condition. Serial#B074 built in Jan, 1999. In response to the enthusiasm and desire for rare and period pieces of Chinese art. We have been given the opportunity to offer this extraordinary PAIR of Zhangmu Compound Cabinets, Sijiangui. The cabinets are carved from rare Camphor wood. A warm reddish-brown Chinese wood from Hainan valued for its beautiful aroma and ability to repell insects. During the Qing period, cabinets of this type were made for upper officials and the wealthy to store bedding and expensive fabrics, like silk and robes. Cabinets of this size and caliber would’ve only been affordable to the wealthiest of households. With many ordered for Imperial use and this piece likely being owned by someone of official status. This is further supported by ... morethe auspicious motif of along the bottom apron of bats flying amongst clouds. A symbol of wealth and good fortune, as the word"bat" is pronounced"fook" which is a homophone for prosperity. It’s important to note that both cabinets are entirely constructed with the use of interlocking wood joints– no nails– and are made from all solid wood– no veneers. The cabinets are in very good condition. Consistent with age dating to the 19th century, measuring approximately 110 inches tall by 61.75 inches wide by 21.5 inches deep(280 cm by 157 cm by 55 cm) The bronze hardware are later replacements done in the original style. It's very possible that this pair of cabinets came from within or near the forbidden city. Cabinets of this type and quality rarely come available. And when they do, it is only at major auction houses like Sotheby's or Christie's. We were only able to find a record for a single pair of Zhangmu Compound Cabinets of this size and quality, and they sold at Christie's for over $400.000. Another very similar pair. Vintage oak raised ... morepanel bank of 3 legal size file cabinet. The gang of 3 measure about 60” wide X 52” tall X 27” deep. All drawers work fine and even include some cloth file holders. Look at all the pics carefully. A couple are missing the buttons or name plates. Nothing you can’t find on-line if you want. These are in“as found” condition. That means I have not cleaned. Polished or enhanced these in any way. One cabinet top has a white ring where a plant used to sit, but the veneer is fine. Another has a very small sliver of missing veneer from an edge. A couple of the bottom drawers have a small amount of veneer lifting, but no material is missing and it’s a straight glue back operation. No real damage anywhere and they can be used right away. Any“flaws” are cosmetic. There are a few white paint lines here and there. It can all be cleaned away. The middle has no sides since it was made to be sandwiched between the end units. These are standard size files that match Library Bureau& Globe Wernicke; each measures 33" long and 17" wide; 2 are 7" high and 1 slightly taller at 7 1/2" high. Also includes the matching topper top section with the Yawman& Erbe brass label center front. Each section as 3 oversize index type drawers. All the drawers have the original brass pull handles and the brass label card holder. Some drawers have the center guides inside and some are just wide open. All 3 sections have the desirable paneled sides. Magnificent quartersawn oak- a classic 1910 era oak office file. Perfect for expanding your current ... morefile collection. The files have normal surface wear; the top cover section has a stain and 1 deeper scratch; the backing wood on the larger bottom file is loosening but backing wood is an easy fix if desired. The photos should tell you a fine idea of the condition of the 4 section. Overall very good and quite solid. The oak has a wonderful aged patina. We would prefer a local pick-up.
