vintage Ethan Allen expandable pedestal dining table
Listing tonight is a nice vintage Ethan Allen dining pedestal table in great shape(with the exception of a 2 inch burn. Made by a candle) It has a large top at 44 inch diameter with 2 removable leaves at 15 inches each. It will expand to a total of 74 inches long. The pedestal base is a very solid well designed piece that has these great bun feet. Ethan Allen is known as the premier american furniture maker and the only flaw in this one is the aforementioned burn on the top. It was done long ago by a relative who had a few too many. He is no longer with us, but unfortunately the burn is. That being said it is a great table for the every day meal or made larger with the leaves for the family gatherings. Covered with a pad or table cloth it would be almost perfect. This piece is just too big to ship so local pick up is offered. Offered for sale is an Ethan Allen Vintage Classic Manor Maple/Birch Sofa Table w/Cane Top. This lovely table is item#15-9020 and was manufactured around the early 1980's. It can be found on page#177 of the 80th edition Ethan Allen Treasury of American Traditional Interiors. In this auction. I am selling the table without the glass top. The glass may break during shipping and could damage the cane top so it is not included. You will need a clear glass top that measures 11 3/4" x 55 3/4" x 1/8" In Dallas, the price of glass that size runs $17.00, so very reasonable. The glass sits recessed in the table and covers the cane completely(see pics#3,4) The measurements of the table are 60" wide x 16" deep x 27.5" tall. The sofa table is in excellent condition with just a few small nicks to the finish low on one ... moreleg(see pic#11) The cane is in excellent condition with the exception of the color variation which you can see in the pictures. This may be stained but I'm not sure how that is done. The Ethan Allen name is stamped on the underside(see pic#12) Ethan Allen describes their Classic Manor collection as"reflecting such 18th Century design influences as Queen Anne. Up for sale is a Beautiful Ethan Allen Vintage Heirloom Maple/Birch Square Lamp Table/End Table. This table features a single drawer and measures 26" x 26" x 20" tall. It is item#10-8625 on page#267 of the 68th edition of the Ethan Allen Treasury. The lamp table is part of the Heirloom Livingroom Collection and has the#211 warm brown nutmeg finish. Overall the table is in excellent condition. There are fine scratches and dull areas on the top with the most obvious shown(see pic#9) I believe it was manufactured in 1976 so the table is nearly 40 years old.
